Cecile sighed for the umpteenth time in a row, her daughter’s line wasn’t reachable and she was getting roasted under the scorching heat.

She hailed down a cab and was about to get in when a lady crashed into her.

“Are you blind or something?” Angie barked furiously staring down at her scattered groceries on the dirty road.

Cecile took a closer look at her “Are you not the lady of the Grayson’s?” Cecile asked still checking her out to confirm.

“I’m sure you have known about it by now, your daughter is responsible for this! she is the reason that a great family like ours is leaving with peasant commoners”

“I’m sure this is more than enough to pay for your groceries” She said before entering the cab.

There was a knock on the door which startled Louisa from where she was sitting, she was watching a movie with a bowl of chips by her side.

She reluctantly got up from her comfortable position. She brushed her black hair with her fingers before going to the door.

He walked past her stepping into the apartment, Louisa closed the door and returned back to the small living room where she found him munching on her chips.

“Today is my off day that’s why I didn’t come to work if that’s why you are here”

A middle aged man walked towards the young man seated in his office. He placed a hand on his shoulder squeezing it softly.

“Karl, I’m sorry for whatever I did to you and your mum all those years ago”

Karl pulled off Anthony’s hand from his shoulder “What’s the point Mr Hart? I hope you are not trying to toy with my emotions?”

Anthony hissed beneath his breathe “I’m sorry son please forgive me, Amelia already left me don’t go away too”
