After having to witness what he had assumed between his brother and girlfriend he walked back home into his room.

Jaxton noticed the study room light open but he didn’t go in to confront Paxton or anything he just wanted to be alone.

Early that morning at the office, they all were busy with their business Sydney had passed by Paxton’s office but he wasn’t there and she knew he wouldn’t come in because his secretary said she had been asked to bring some documents to his house.

“Can I take them to him instead?” Sydney asked trying to be the one to deliver the documents.

“No, he says no one else should bring it because he somehow knew you might want to come to give him,” his secretary said.

“Oh, okay, I hear you” Sydney replied hurt for a minute that he had already put precautions about her coming to see him.

He behaved childishly most times and that was just what she didn’t like he didn’t stop being immature.

“I’ll go about my business then.

She walked away and went to her office to work on the proposal she had been working on.

When she was done she walked into Paxton’s office he looked refreshed and happy this morning.

There was no need for her to bring her bad energy to him and his happy mood not after what he had been through for the past few days.

” Oh her Sydney, how are you this morning you look beautiful” he complicated with a beautiful smile.

“Oh you flatter me too much,” Sydney said before placing the document on the table.

“What is this for?”

“Well this is the proposal I had been working on for the company”

“Wow?” Patton said holding the document in hand and looking at her with his eyes and brows creased into thinking.

“Yes, you should go through it and call me when you have eventually finished with what it is I have drafted” Sudney explained and turned to leave.

“Why don’t you stay while I read through it?” Patton asked as he scurried through the pages.

“No, I would want you to take your time with it you don’t have to surge through it,” she declined and walked out even before he said something else.

After thirty minutes of having to read through the document, she heard her office phone ring.

“Hello”

“Come into my office Sydney” Paxton’s voice resonated through the phone.

She rushed to his office door and knocked before she opened it.

“I think I like this idea Sydney, you are a genius”.

” Wait you mean that or do you just want me happy?” She asked him sceptically looking at his face for any sign of a joke.

“Your proposal has been taken, it has been accepted and Jaxton approved of it,” Pactom said.

“Wait did you say Jaxton is okay with it?” she asked.

“Yes, he is we just got off the phone,” Paxton said.

She was kind of torn apart, he had not taken her calls and he accepts her proposal?”

“I am happy,” she said and after they had a little chitchat Sydney left and went to her office she was excited about the proposal being accepted.

She was filled with joy but that feeling of having Jaxton ignore her was unsettling.

What was this? Had he somehow made up with his brother and now she was the bad guy?

She spent the day obsessively waiting for Jaxtok to call her, she was just thinking about what was going to happen, like what the heck was going on?

Since the new proposal had been taken everyone was advised to put in more work and make sure that they had put in twice as much as they had normally been working.

Sydney took control of this project as Pacton trusted her to handle it perfectly well and also delicate assignments.

She was the one who wrote the proposal and knew what she had and what the company had to liftoff.

After being in the office for what should have been the entire day Jaxton showed up.

“Hey Sydney, how are you?” he asked as he came in looking at Sydney as though he had not just dissed her the entire night and this morning.

“I am okay” she responded and turned to work but she was bothered, Sydney just didn’t want anyone at the office to have to deal with the real fights they had been having so she pretended to be fine.

She knew Jaxton was not all that interested in the company but got someone who didn’t have an interest he sure was invested in this project and showed he was going to work his butt off for this launch.

After that happened Sydney was at the printer when Jacton came behind her and somehow apologised for his behaviour and told her he was going to work on himself.

She apologised for forgetting too and he left the office.

She didn’t understand but she was happy they all had settled their differences.

Days and days passed and they worked their butts off for this product.

As she went home she prayed the launch would be successful, they had worked their butts off and as the days passed by they decided to set a date for the launching of the product.

The event spread like wildfire and everyone was eager to know how this was going because this company had just been hit with a big scandal and now they were coming back strong.

As the days approached she was scared and she didn’t know what to do if the product didn’t make it.

Sydney was under pressure even though sleep was far from her but she prayed hard and Paxtom trusted her so he was sure everything was going to be fine.

If this product failed she feared what would be said of them.
