Chapter 6 Survived
Chapter 6 Survived
Before she came back to her senses, her neck was clenched by his strong fingers. She rounded her
eyes in shock, then saw the Prince’s angry face. The air was forcibly squeezed out of her chest, and
she suddenly lost sight and almost fainted.
"He’s only ten." He gritted teeth by her ears. "How can you be so vicious? Drag her out and beat her
with a rod for thirty!"
Yuan Qingling had been unable to fall asleep for several days, and had almost no physical strength.
After being slapped, she was too weak to stand. The second his hand left her heck, she sank to the
ground. She finally had air and took a deep breath at once, but she was suddenly dragged out by
someone.
In a trance, she could only see Prince Wenhao's icy face, the disgust in his eyes, and his luxurious
brocade coat...
She was dragged directly down the stone steps. Her head was knocked on the hard and sharp stone
steps. There was a sharp tingling sensation. The next second, she lost sight again and finally fainted.
She woke up with pain after a short while. It was the pain that she had never experienced before. The
heavy stick hit her waist and thighs again and again. It was utterly painful every hit. She felt that her
waist and legs were probably going to fracture.
She tasted blood in her mouth, because she had bitten her lips and broke her tongue. She could barely
see anything, but she didn't faint.
The pain kept her awake.
After thirty times, she felt that a lifetime had passed.
She was Yuan Qingling, a genius of the 22nd century and was admired and respected by countless
people. Whenever she attended any occasions, she was always the focus of everyone’s attention.
Patients had high hope that she could develop a life-saving medicine.
However, right here, she just wanted to save a little boy. It turned out to be so difficult that it'd almost
cost her life.
She was dragged back. No one cared about whether she was still alive or not. It would be the best that
she was dead.
She was thrown on the marble floor of the Phoenix Mansion, together with her medicine box. It
slammed heavily on her back.
She couldn't turn over, and she knew that her back was already bloody. She did her best to drag the
medicine box over by reaching her hand to her back. She opened it, took out a pill, swallowed it, and
gave herself another injection, hoping to survive today.
Gradually, she passed out.
In the low courtyard, after the Prince, Yu Wenhao, ordered Yuan Qingling to be beaten severely, his
anger didn’t go away completely. He comforted Nurse Qi for a while before he left.
Tang Yang caught up with him. "Your highness, would you like to ask the doctor to come and have a
look at her grace?"
Yu Wenhao had an evil idea. "No. Report a sudden death if she dies!"
“How do we tell Lord Yuan then?” Tang Yang asked.
“Why?” Yu Wenhao’s voice was icy.
Tang Yang understood what he meant at once. “I know what to do.”
Yu Wenhao strode away.
Tang Yang went back to the courtyard and ordered Lu Ya to get medicine for Little Brother Huo.
After entering the low courtyard, he somehow saw that Little Brother Huo already fell asleep.
Nurse Qi wiped away her tears and cleaned up the bloody cotton balls, then cried, "It's good for him to
fall asleep. He was in great pain just then and he couldn't sleep at all."
Tang Yang glanced at Little Brother Huo's eye, and was startled. "It seems to be less swollen now."
Nurse Qi hurriedly raised her head, and indeed saw a part of his eye wasn’t so swollen. Moreover, the
pus was no longer visible.
Tang Yang saw what she had just cleaned up. He took the needle and looked at it. "What is this?" This is from NôvelDrama.Org.
"I don't know. That woman left it here," Nurse Qi said.
Out of deep hatred, she addressed Yuan Qingling as that woman.
Tang Yang had never seen such a thing. "Did she poison him?"
“Is the doctor gone?” Nurse Qi asked.
"Yeah, but he left the prescription." Tang Yang glanced at Little Brother Huo. "Don't worry, I was just
saying. He doesn't seem to be poisoned."
Nurse Qi raised her red and swollen eyes, feeling relieved, then said to Tang Yang, "Can I stay with
him..."
“Of course, you can stay here,” said Tang Yang.
“Thank you so much.”
Tang Yang sighed softly, "The doctor said he might die tonight. Stay with him."
Upon hearing that, Nurse Qi cried again.
