Chapter 1341 Because It Is You
Chapter 1341 Because It Is You
The little ones couldn't sit still. After spending some time with Arissa in the bedroom, Jasper, Jesse, and Oliver all scampered off. “Mommy, we'll see if dinner is ready!”
Arissa watched them run off with a smile, then turned to Gavin, Tim, and Zachary, saying, “If you guys want to go down too, then go ahead. See what good food there is and bring me back some!” This content is © NôvelDrama.Org.
She wondered what delicious dishes were prepared because the aroma had even wafted up to the second floor.
Zachary flashed a smile, tugged at Tim, and said, “Let's go down too!”
Tim glanced at Arissa, showing some hesitation.
With a smile, Arissa nodded. “Go ahead!”
“You guys go ahead, I'll be fine just watching Mommy!” Gavin also wanted to join in the fun in the afternoon, but as the eldest, he had to continue watching over her mother. Daddy had instructed us to ensure Mommy doesn't get out of bed and move around.
Tim chuckled. “There will be delicious food soon. We'll bring it up for you!”
After he spoke, Tim went down with Zachary.
Arissa chuckled and pinched Gavin's little cheek. “You don't have to keep watching me. Do you think I will suddenly disappear?”
With a warm smile, Gavin's gaze was firmly locked on her, his voice particularly affectionate. “Mommy, you look so beautiful!”
Arissa hugged him, planting several kisses on his little face. “My sweetheart, you're so handsome!”
She tenderly pinched Gavin's cheeks, inhaling the milky scent of her son. Arissa felt an unparalleled sense of satisfaction deep within her heart.
Gavin obediently nestled in her arms, not struggling, letting Arissa snuggle happily.
Arissa noticed that Gavin was becoming more and more well-behaved, and asked with a smile, “Sweetie, why aren't you struggling out of my arms anymore?”
Gavin chuckled, a blush spreading across his small face. “Because it's you, Mommy. I don't mind!”
Arissa hugged her precious child tightly, planting a few kisses on him. “You're my good boy!”
“Mommy, am I not your good boy?” Jasper entered, carrying a plate of clam, teasing Arissa.
Arissa smiled and looked at Jasper. “You guys are all good boys!”
Jasper approached the bed with a mischievous grin, handing over the clams. “Mommy, you and Gavin share this. I'm going to eat downstairs!”
“Jasper, is dinner not ready yet?” Arissa casually asked as she came over.
“Not yet. There's still plenty of food!” Jasper responded before dashing downstairs.
Arissa picked up a toothpick, skewered a piece of clam meat, and brought it to Gavin's mouth. Gavin looked at her and laughed, saying, “Mommy, you eat it yourself. I can pick out on my own!”
“Mommy has picked it out for you.” Arissa stuffed another bite toward the Gavin's mouth, and only then did Gavin eat it.
However, Gavin just picked out some clam meat and brought it to her lips. “Mommy, you eat too!”
Arissa was immensely satisfied. She lowered her head and took a bite, finding the clam meat quite chewy.
The mother and son picked out food for each other, feeding each other mouthfuls. Before long, Tim and Zachary brought up some freshly cooked dishes for Arissa to taste, all of which could be enjoyed as snacks.
By the time dinner was ready, Arissa had already eaten her fill. Benjamin came over and carried her to the dining room.
“Is everyone here already?” She asked Benjamin, while wrapping her arms around his neck.
“Everyone's here. We just need to head over!” Benjamin responded with a smile, cradling her in his arms as they steadily descended the stairs.
Arissa smiled and said to him, “I'm already half full. The kids have given me quite a lot to eat.”
With a smile in his eyes, Benjamin suddenly leaned in, taking a few sniffs of her.
With a laugh, Arissa dodged and playfully scolded, “What are you doing?”
With a slight smile on his thin lips, Benjamin teased her, “Let me take a sniff to see if you really have eaten!”
Arissa rolled her eyes in silence, muttering under her breath, “As if it could be fake!”
Benjamin chuckled lightly. Shaun and the others were calling them from the dining room, urging them to go over quickly.
Arissa gently tapped his shoulder. “Hurry up. Everyone is waiting for us.”
