Chapter 565 Negotiating Conditions
Chapter 565 Negotiating Conditions
The only person in the room who was completely unaware of the situation was Jane. Her eyes wandered aimlessly before finally settling on Jean's face. "Jean, what's going on?"
Jean couldn't bring herself to say a word. She didn't want to admit that she wasn't Dylan's biological daughter.
Being his daughter was her pride; hence, she didn't want anyone to know that she was just an illegitimate child of his.
Looking at Dylan with pitiful eyes, she pleaded, "Dad." She was hoping that he would keep this secret from everyone else.
Dylan might have a soft spot for anyone in the world, but that didn't apply to Regina and her daughters.
Regina had ruined his whole life.
If it weren't for her, he wouldn't have only found his biological son now. Content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
Too much time had passed, and even if he had found his biological son, there was already a gap between them.
If he had found his biological son when he was still a child, he would have raised him, loved him, and become the best father in the world.
They would have been dependent on each other and eventually become very close to each other.
What about now?
Although he had found his biological son, his son merely looked at him with indifference and without any warmth in his eyes.
He could tell that his son didn't want to acknowledge him, and Regina was the cause of it all.
He hated her so much that he wished he could tear her apart and dismember her.
Therefore, he decided that he wouldn't keep any secrets on behalf of her and her daughters anymore.
"Jean Hahn is not my daughter," he answered in a flat tone as if narrating someone else's story. "She is Gary's daughter."
"W-What?" Jane was dumbfounded.
Then, he tossed the divorce agreement in Regina's face. "Sign it!"
The divorce agreement fell to the ground, and Regina lowered her head. After reading a few sentences, she trembled violently.
"You can't do this!" she yelled, her face pale. "Dylan, stop dreaming. I won't divorce you!"
Dylan sneered and waved his hand, prompting more than a dozen bodyguards to rush in.
"Drag them out," he ordered.
Regina screamed in his face. "What on earth are you doing, Dylan Hahn?!"
Jane rushed toward Dylan, terrified. "Dad, but I'm your daughter! Are you going to drive me away too?"
Although she didn't understand how her sister suddenly became Gary's daughter, she was still Dylan's biological daughter, wasn't she?
Why would her father drive her away?
"Yes, you are my daughter." Dylan looked at her coldly. "But you are also Regina's daughter! She cuckolded me and made it known to the world. Why should I let her daughter remain a member of the Hahn Family?"
"No way... Dad! You can't do this..." Jane shook her head in disbelief. "I take your surname, Dad. I'm your biological daughter!"
With a blank face, Dylan rebutted, "You can take your mother's surname. I'll support you."
"No, I don't want to!" Jane cried.
She was the second daughter of the Hahn Family. Her father didn't have a son, so half of the Hahn Family's assets would belong to her in the future.
Why would she leave with her mother?
"Dad, I want to be with you!" Without any hesitation, she abandoned her mother and threw herself into
Dylan's arms. "I'm your daughter, Dad. I want to stay here with you. I'm not going anywhere!"
Dylan remained unmoved and forcefully pushed her to the ground, instructing the bodyguards, "Drag them out."
"Dylan, have you gone mad?" Regina was both afraid and angry, her face pale as she shouted, "Even if Jean isn't your daughter, Jane is. How can you treat her like this?"
"I don't want any of them because you were the one who gave birth to them!" Dylan spat coldly. "I admit that Jane is my daughter, but according to the law, I am only obliged to support her for eighteen years. I have already fulfilled my duty, so from now on, her life or death has nothing to do with me!"
"No! No!" Jane felt like her world was collapsing.
She didn't want just eighteen years of support; she wanted half of the Hahn Family's assets!
On the other hand, Regina also didn't expect Dylan to be so ruthless.
In her impression, Dylan had always been gentle and tolerant, or in other words, he was considered weak and indecisive.
She never imagined that he could be so heartless one day.
"I can divorce you!" She gritted her teeth. "But I want half of the family's assets! As long as you give me fifty percent, I will immediately sign the divorce agreement. Otherwise, I will sue you and freeze the assets. By then, Hahn Corporation won't be able to hold on!"
"It's too late," Dylan uttered calmly. "I have already transferred all my assets to my son without any compensation. Currently, I only have a debt of 52.5 million. If you want to apply for an asset freeze, go ahead. When the court makes its ruling, you will be left with a debt of 26.2 million."
The process of transferring assets was not as simple as he made it sound, so even though someone like him might have to go through some difficulties to protect his assets, there were still plenty of ways to transfer his assets to his biological son.
He knew very well that Regina married him for his money.
Regina did everything she could to prevent him from finding his son, all for the sake of money.
He hated her and wished he could make her miserable for her whole life.
Therefore, the more Regina wanted, the less he would give her.
He would rather suffer heavy losses himself than let her have anything!
Regina was stunned by his words.
She stood on the spot, unable to react for a while.
How could Dylan have transferred all his assets to his biological son?
She had put in so much effort, endured so much suffering, and in the end, she got nothing!
No.
This can't be true!
With that, she dashed forward and grabbed Dylan's collar. "Dylan Hahn, you can't treat me like this! I am your wife, and Jane is your daughter! You can't do this to us!"
"The videos of you and Gary are everywhere. If I kick you out of the Hahn Family, everyone will applaud. No one will speak a good word for you!" Dylan forcefully pushed her into the embrace of the bodyguards. "Drag them out and pass my order down. Regina and her daughters will no longer be allowed to step foot into Hahn Residence. Anyone who disobeys this order will be kicked out!"
The bodyguards responded loudly and twisted the arms of Regina and her daughters, pushing them out.
Jean cried uncontrollably while Regina cursed loudly.
Jane was so frightened that she cried and called out for her father.
"Wait." Dylan picked up the divorce agreement and walked up to Regina. "Sign this now, and come with me to get the divorce certificate. I will give Jane 300 thousand as a settlement fee and allow her to bring her clothes and jewelry away. If you don't sign it, Jane will receive the same treatment as you. I won't give her a single penny!"
