Chapter 342
Chapter 342
"Madison Carter."
Rosa thought that she hadn't spoken clearly. Hence, she articulated the name clearly again.
Unbeknownst to her, Coralie had heard her clearly; she just couldn't believe her ears.
"Coralie, what's the matter?"
Skylar found out that Coralie was acting strange.
He saw that Coralie was looking at Rosa in a daze. Her eyes were glistening as if there were tears in
them.
"It's nothing," said Coralie. Then, she suddenly stood up and scooped Hendric into her arms. "Auntie
Carter, it's getting late. Hendric has to sleep soon. We'll visit you another day."
"Oh?"
Rosa also noticed the change in Coralie, but she didn't think much about it. She thought that Hendric
was really going to sleep. Therefore, she asked the servants to see Coralie, Skylar and Hendric off.
When they got home, Coralie coaxed Hendric to sleep. The two of them also then went to bed. When
they were alone, Skylar hugged Coralie and asked, "What's wrong? Do you know who Madison Carter
is?"
Although Skylar knew the relation between Coralie and Houston, he did not know Coralie's mother's
name.
"Madison Carter... she's my mother."
Coralie laid in Skylar's arms. The faint peppermint scent of his wafted to her nose.
"She's Houston's..."
"Yes, she's my birth mother."
Coralie answered.
"No wonder you look a little like Rosa."
After that, the truth was clear.
Fate must have enabled them to meet in a foreign country.
"In fact, I almost wanted to say that Madison was my mother just now. However, I don't know how I
should answer if she asked about how Madison's doing. She's already so old, and she has no one else
around her. This sister of hers was probably the only person she had."
Coralie explained.
She had an inkling that Rosa and Madison were close. Perhaps Rosa had grown nostalgic with age.
"Then don't say it. We happened to meet by chance, and you can just say that you didn't find her."
"Alright."
Coralie nodded.
She felt that what Skylar had said was the best solution.
"Is it time for us to solve our own problems now, my dear wife?"
Having said that, Skylar turned over and propped up his body with his arms. His body was pressed
against Coralie's.
"I..." Coralie began in an embarrassed manner when she saw the eager look on Skylar's face. "During
dinner, I discovered something..."
"What is it?"
"I'm on my period..."
Coralie's words ruined the beautiful plans they had for the weekend!
She was just staying for the week. It was already the third day and there were still four days left for
them; her menstruation would not end by then yet.
Looking at his nether region, Coralie was also rather upset.
"Then what should I do..."
Skylar rested his head on his arm. His expression looked both innocent and depressed.
"Why don't... I help you..." Content property of NôvelDra/ma.Org.
Coralie said as she blinked. She had done it several times before so she considered herself to be quite
experienced.
Skylar's eyes were fixed on Coralie's groin for a long time before he said unhappily, "We only have four
days left. Wouldn't it be too tiring for my dear wife?"
"Dream on!"
Hearing Skylar's words, Coralie laughed, not knowing what else to say.
Skylar stretched out his hand and hugged Coralie as he took the initiative to kiss her on the lips and
said, "I won't let you help me for nothing. When I go back, I'll pay you back double. I'll ensure that you
won't be able to get out of bed for a whole week."
"Forget it. I'd rather give you a free service," Coralie said.
Hearing that, her face turned as red as a tomato. Although the lights were off, the blush on her cheeks
could still be seen under the moonlight.
She was well aware of how resilient Skylar used to be when his legs were still in good condition in the
past. Skylar's stamina was astonishing.
Even in the dressing room last time, when the time was urgent, it still took an hour for him to finish.
"No, I don't like to take advantage of others. I'll help you remember it and I'll return it all to you when we
go back."
"There's really no need for that."
"Your decision doesn't count."
As Skylar spoke, he held up his body and started kissing Coralie's forehead. Then, his lips moved from
the tip of her nose to her earlobe. His kisses peppered her ears before they proceeded downwards...
Coralie was embarrassed and shy. She was on her period but Skylar was just making it hard for her to
control herself.
"Stop kissing me. I'll just help you now."
Coralie couldn't take it anymore. Hence, she pushed Skylar away and knelt down to help him finish with
her hand.
......
The next morning, Hendric got up and saw Coralie sitting at the dining table. Skylar then brought the
breakfast over for them.
"Is Daddy's serving us today?"
Hendric asked curiously.
When they were at home, Coralie would not allow Skylar to do anything and she would do everything
on her own.
It turned out to be the opposite on that day.
"Your mother's hands are tired from yesterday so she needs to rest today."
"Shut up..."
Coralie could not help but shout at Skylar in front of Hendric.
Although he hadn't said anything, Coralie's mind recalled last night's miserable experience.
"Okay okay. You've worked hard, my dear wife. Why don't I cook for you today?"
"Please don't. I'm afraid that you'll burn down the kitchen."
Although it was Skylar who served breakfast, Coralie was still the one who prepared the breakfast.
"I've checked. It's the Corn Festival in town today. We can have lunch there during noon."
Skylar saw that Coralie was really tired. Her hands were even slightly trembling when she held the
spoon. He thought of how selfish he had been the night before. He had wanted to savor the feeling of
her doing it for him. He held her hand and it lasted for more than half an hour. In the end, Coralie had to
protest for him to let her go.
He couldn't help but feel a little guilty.
"Corn Festival? Is there a Tomato Festival here then?"
Hendric asked while eating.
"Maybe."
In that town, there were at least 12 local celebrations a month. They were created by the local
community. During each celebration, a party would be held to gather the residents of the town.
After breakfast, they left to celebrate the Corn Festival.
The town's celebration was really different. There were sheds built in every stall, and they had all sorts
of things, including food, crafts, and mini games.
Coralie did not expect that such a small town could have such a high turnout.
Hendric refused to leave a video game machine where he could win candies with water guns. Hence,
Coralie and Skylar had to wait for him there.
That game was prepared for children. Hence, only the kids could participate.
Coralie looked around at the other stalls around her as she waited on Henderic. Suddenly, a familiar
figure appeared in her sight in the thronging crowd.
The man was taller than the people around him, thus, Coralie could see him clearly.
"Yohan Green..."
Coralie looked at the man's direction and ran towards Yohan without informing Skylar about it.
She just wanted to confirm whether he was still alive.
