Chapter 9 Bloody Jail
Hailey’s Point of View
“Punishment is waiting for you.” Demon stated with a broad grin.
I asked him, “Wait!! Where are you taking her? ”
“Bloody Jail.” He replied.
I wondered about following him. We stopped at a large black door next to the one stained with blood.
“The stench is here.” My complaint.
“You need to get used to it.” Raine said as she covered her nose.
When the student opened the door, I was exposed to the tools of the murder.
The demon ordered the students guarding it to bind the woman.
“Demon, have mercy.” The woman begged.
The demon just smiled, as if the woman he was going to torture was just a toy.
“Let’s start.” Demon said.
The students guarded a whip with thorns. They beat the woman.
The whole Bloody Jail was filled with female screams.
“Boring.” Demon said.
They pulled out their sharp nails and buried them in the woman’s stomach.
“S-Stop.” The woman is already writhing in pain.
They were still not satisfied, so they twisted their nails inside the woman’s stomach.
The woman’s intestines are almost visible first. The blood flowed quickly.
I turned to face the Demon, whose eyes had changed color yet again. He was like a demon eager for blood.
A demon approached the woman. I covered my mouth as Demon inserted his nail into the woman’s chest.
When he released it, he was already holding the woman’s heart.
He smelled it first before licking it. I was even more shocked when he ate the woman’s heart like he was eating a piece of meat.
I could feel my body sweating because of fear. My knees were shaking, and even Raine, I saw fear in her eyes.
“It doesn’t taste bad anymore.” Demon said.
He continued licking the blood on his hands until he turned to look at me.
His puffy eyes were very frightening. It was as if in the blink of an eye, I could die because of his stare.
He walked with us first, so I just followed. Raine was left alone inside the Bloody Jail.
“Are you scared of me?” He asked.
“Everyone gets scared, especially when you see someone being killed in front of you.” He sighed.
“I thought you were different from them.” He said, before changing direction to walk.
What does he mean? Does he expect me to not be afraid of him?
“How was your entry into Demon’s life?” I almost jumped in fear when someone suddenly asked.
“Are you planning to kill me out of fear?” Raze laughed.
“Is Demon really this way?” I asked him.
“The demon you see now is different.”
I don’t know what to say because of what Raze is telling me right now.
“Remember, the past is different from the present. The past cannot be undone, but you can change the future. ” He smiled bitterly.
Has anything worse happened here before? Why, in Raze’s words, do I feel pain? Why does his every word sink into my heart?
Do I have a connection here before? I don’t know if I even know myself. Is this the same Hailey I used to be, or has the Demon changed me?
I went straight to the dormitory because they might be looking for me.
“Hailey, why are you alone now?” I smiled at Agatha.
“Demon and I did something else.” I said.
“What did you do?” Nadia asked with a raised eyebrow.
“What’s on your mind?” I asked philosophically.
“Gosh! He took your virginity. ” I looked sharply at Alejandra.
“I’m just kidding.” We laughed, except for Kent.
“Kent, what’s wrong?” He did not answer my question.
Instead of talking to me, he went upstairs.
“What’s his problem?” I asked in astonishment.
“Honestly, we don’t know.” Theo said.
“We know you went to Bloody Jail.” I looked at Ethan.
“How?”
“That changed Hailey. You can’t even see, but you’ve changed a lot. ” There was sadness in the tone of Agatha’s speech.
“Guys, I haven’t changed.” I tried to smile.This content © Nôv/elDr(a)m/a.Org.
“You’ll also know what I mean.” Ethan said.
It was as if cold water had been poured on me because of what they were making me feel now.
“Don’t you trust me anymore?” I asked pleadingly.
“We trust you, but everything has changed with you.” Theo said bitterly.
“It’s just hunger.” I strained to prevent myself from exploding with the pain that was inside me.
While eating, I could feel their coldness towards me.
“We’re done eating.” they said at once.
“Guys, I can’t stand that you treat me so coldly.” I started the conversation.
They also didn’t respond and left me here below. I put away what we ate.
I didn’t go upstairs first because I wanted to ventilate first.
I saw the Demon walk by as I stood in front of the door.
My body moved spontaneously and I followed where he was going.
Then I realized that the surroundings were darker and there was very little light.
There were hands covering my mouth. I tried to remove it, but he was too strong.
“Don’t make any noise.” He whispered to me.
He removed his hand from my mouth. I stared at him, but I couldn’t see his face because of the mascara that covered his face.
“W-Who are you?” I asked, stunned.
He could not answer my question because a group of men suddenly appeared in front of us.
“Hide in a safe place.” He commands me.
I don’t know, but I can’t move my body.
“Give us that woman. She’s the only one we want, so don’t interfere. ” The leader of the men says
In the blink of an eye, the men were startled.
The men’s eyes were scattered on the ground. The man who covered my mouth stamped his eyes.
“H-Have mercy on me.” The leader says this pleadingly.
“Mercy has no place in my heart.”
He pulled out the man’s tongue and broke it into pieces.
“Go back to the dormitory. No one will hurt you. My eyes are always on you. ” He was making sure of me.
I hurried to the dormitory. I immediately closed the door.
I went to my room and covered myself with a blanket.
