Chapter 85 Uncle James Likes Men
Chapter 85 Uncle James Likes Men
After Kara finished her homework, she waited for Larry to check. Instead of Larry, Donald came
upstairs first.
"Hi, Donald," Kara said with a smile.
Donald felt that she was a little nervous, and so he smiled back and comforted her, "We are
classmates, which means we are equal. You don't have to be nervous when facing me. Master Larry is
attending to his guests, and so he sends me up here to check your homework."
"Okay, here is my homework. Thank you, Donald."
When Donald got her painting, he was surprised and understood why Larry sent him up.
She painted so well that other students couldn't easily comment on her work.
He concealed his surprise and pointed a pencil at the place she needed to improve.
He wondered, "How old were you when you first learned to paint?"
Kara thought for a while and said, "I'm not sure. My mother said that I could draw things when I learned
how to eat on my own."
Donald blinked as he thought, 'She is indeed a talented painter.'
Although most of Larry's students were talented, she was only seventeen and had so much potential
yet to fulfill.
He already found her painting not so easy to comment on. There was no doubt that she would have a
promising future as a painter.
"Who taught you to paint before you come here?"
Kara answered, "It was my mother. She loved drawing, and so I drew with her."
In Kara's memory, drawing was a hobby and a game between her mom and her.
Remembering her mother, the smile on Kara's face faded. She tried to force a smile but failed.
"Thank you for your suggestions, Donald. I will keep those in mind and do better next time."
Kara took back her homework and was about to throw the paintings she was not satisfied with into the
trash can.
"Wait, what are you doing?" Donald felt sorry for those paintings which were going to be thrown away.
"I've drawn too much recently, and so I want to clear some out."
Kara always dealt with her paintings like this. She would only keep the paintings she liked and would
throw away those she didn't like.
"If you don't want them, may I help you take care of them?" Donald quickly took the works from her and
left the studio.
By the time Kara realized what had happened, Donald had already left.
She raised her eyebrows and left this thing behind since she wasn't going to keep them anyway.
It was time for James to pick her up. She packed her things and walked out of the studio.
However, instead of seeing James waiting for her, she heard someone calling his name. She felt
surprised and went to where the voice came from, an office near the balcony.
"James, relax. Don't be so urgent. I need a break."
The voice belonged to the man who saw her and James hugging in the morning and screamed. And
now she heard him whining with coquetry.
"I thought you like something thrilling?"
James sneered, and then there came a sound of bumping.
"How narrow-minded you are to treat me like this merely for seeing you holding that teenage girl in your
arms in the morning. But now I see why you don't hang out with us anymore. Now that you are
accompanied by such a lovely lady, surely you don't need us." The man said with playful resentment.
Kara was shocked at their conversation.
She remembered that Arya had said that James liked men. And according to her words, every man he
dated was not only distinguished but also very good-looking.
She recalled the face of the man she met in the morning. It was a slightly feminine face with a pair of
beautiful and lively eyes on it which made him look more attractive rather than sissy.
From his tone, she could tell that he was jealous.
"James, every time I play with you, I am not amused but exhausted."
"You can choose not to play."
James's voice remained indifferent as if nothing could arouse his interest.
Kara held her breath in greater shock. 'They won't be doing some Restricted-level things in the office,
will they?'
"No," said the man playfully, "I like to [lay with you and be treated so rudely by you."
After a while, he complained in a tired voice.
"You've taken everything I have. Do you have to be so ruthless? Do you treat me like this to let out your
long-suppressed energy?"
"You're right."
James answered calmly, looking like he was superior to others.
"Dear! I need to get tough with you." The man wailed. And then from the office came several bumping
sounds.
"Don't make a move! For heaven's sake, can't you be a little gentler to me?"
...
Kara blushed when she heard these words. She was too shy to listen any longer, and so she covered
her face and hurried back to the studio.
Back in the studio, the image of two men sleeping together still lingered in her mind.
Meanwhile, in the office, James was speechless to see Rory withdraw moves.
Why on earth would he agree to play chess with Rory?
"James, I've lost all my chess pieces to you. Are you feeling a sense of achievement?"
Rory complained gloomily when he saw that he lost again although he took back a few moves.
Well," James put down his chess piece calmly and said in a teasing tone, "just a little."
Rory was lost for words.
Rory had learned to play Go when he was in middle school. And he once won the championship in a
chess competition. But every time he played with James, he didn't even manage to break even with
him.
Hearing his annoying tone, Rory really wanted to "kill" him. But unfortunately, he was no match for
James in strength either.
James checked on the time, thinking that Kara should have finished class. Thus, he got up and was
going to leave.
"Hey, wait for me. James, you have been very strange lately."
Rory quickly packed up the chess pieces. He was afraid that he couldn't catch up with him, and so he
put them all in one box without separating them. After all, some people are hired to tidy the office.
Rory caught up to James and recalled the scene he saw in the morning. He began to nag.
"Will is right. You really fall in love with the girl you adopted. He said that she looked young, had a thin
figure and two long legs, and talked softly. The one I saw in the morning, that is her, right?"
"Rory, shut up!" James was annoyed.
Rory kept silent for three seconds and could not help but say, "If I had known that you liked this kind of
woman, I wouldn't set you up with those sexy beauties."
He said excitingly without any pause.
"You'd better take it easy and slowly. You wouldn't want to scare her away, would you?"
"Rory, if you speak any more nonsense, I will sew your lips together! Believe it or not." James
threatened.
James felt that Rory was like a small bee buzzing in his ears, making him feel annoyed by the noise.
"You've threatened me with these words many times." said Rory, "Come on, there is nothing for you to
be shy about. With my experience in dates, that little girl only sees you as a senior whom she worships.
She never thinks of the possibility of you two being a couple."
"My friend, you are in an unrequited love." Rory was a typical chatterbox. Whatever threats he met, he
must say it all out.
...
James silently gave him a sharp glance in return.
Rory was finally scared by his look and shut up.
James knocked on the door. When Kara opened the door, she saw that Rory had been covering his
mouth. She remembered that her lips had also been bitten by Uncle James last time, and so she was
more certain about the relationship between them.
She suddenly felt somewhat sympathetic for Kathleen.

now that he likes men."
