Triplets on Secret Mission

Chapter 1525

Chapter 1525

Tony came in in the morning. He greeted Sean and Molly with respect, "Good morning, sir, madam."

"What's going on out there, Tony?" Sean asked seriously.

This was also what Molly wanted to ask.

A night had passed. She was wondering what was going on out there.

"It's a mess out there. The news that a doctor escaped from the base a few days ago hasn't subsided yet. And now another doctor has committed suicide by jumping into the sea. With things like this happening one after another, the people on the island become panicky and begin talking."

Tony had been out in the morning. Now he told them all he generally knew.

"Did the base do anything?" Molly asked.

"They sent a lot of people to salvage Logan."

Molly ridiculed, "Even if they turned the bottom of the sea over, they would not find him."

Sean pinched her nose gently and whispered, "Now you can be relieved, can't you?"

"Yes, but I want to visit Lesley after breakfast."

Knowing she had been worried about Lesley all night, Sean didn't stop her but nodded, saying, "Okay.”

After breakfast, Molly asked Tony to drive her to the cliff where Logan had jumped last night.

Far in the car, she could see Lesley sitting on her knee on the ground.

Lesley had been by the seaside all night. To make her emotions look real, she had wept so hard that her throat had turned hoarse.

She had been ravaged by the sea wind for a whole night. Now, with messy hair and swollen eyes, she looked terrible.

Molly approached her and saw her appearance, feeling so sorry. She rushed up and screwed open the bottle of water, handing it to her.

"Drink some water, Lesley."

As she spoke, she took out some tissues, ready to clean Lesley's face.

A man from the research base noticed her. He immediately came over and questioned loudly, "Who are you?"

Molly was mentally prepared. She looked up and answered calmly, "I'm a barista at the cafe. I came to see our shop owner."

The man looked her up and down, but didn’t find anything wrong, so he let her pass.

Lesley sneaked a peek at the personnel from the research

base and asked in a low voice, "Why did you come?" NôvelDrama.Org holds this content.

"Been worried about you!"

Molly helped her go to the side and sit down. Seeing her swollen eyes, she felt sorry but was amused. "You've been working too hard, haven't you?"

"How could my emotions look real without the hard work? How could I fool their eyes?"

All night, she had not had a drop of water and had been crying. Now she felt like her throat was about to burn.

She coughed lightly and whispered, "Did things go smoothly?

"Very smoothly," Molly answered, cleaning her face.

"That's good."

Lesley, who had been worried, was finally relieved. It looked like she had not been crying all night in vain.

"Don't worry. Logan is now safe and sound, but you have to suffer."

Hearing Molly's words, Lesley shook her head. "This is not suffering. How could I suffer? As long as he can be freed, this is nothing."

Overjoyed, she almost laughed.

Molly nodded but didn't elaborate.

During the rest of the day, she had been with Lesley, who kept acting like a woman who had lost her beloved man. Without eating anything all day, she turned pale.

For a few times, Molly couldn't bear to look at her poor appearance, asking her to eat something, but she refused.

During the day, Lesley asked the personnel from the research base many times.

"How's the situation? Have you found him?"

Facing her hysterical questions, the personnel could only patiently ask her to quiet down and wait.

But the team from the research base still couldn't find him even when night fell. Then they decided to give up.
