Chapter 46 Araceli change in attitude
Chapter 46 Araceli change in attitude
"Ok ok, well I'm planning a dinner meeting with my Mom and Dad with the Millers and I thought just
to spice it up, to invite you guys, since Alice will be there too," Rachel pitched, looking at them
excitedly.
They all had looks filled with uncertainty and doubt written all over their face, Ricky kept staring
back at Amy and then back at her while Yandel's expression was nothing close to readable instead his
face was more stuck in a confused look like he couldn't help but not see reason to what she was doing.
"Ok let me get this straight, even though I'm not." Ricky started facing her squarely since he was
sitting direct opposite her.
"You want us to come to a dinner party where you are going out with your soon to be ex-fiancé in
front of his parents and his brother??!!" Ricky stated, staring at her wildly like she had started growing a
second head.
"Ok Araceli, not that I'm not up for some premium violence and everything, I mean you know I love
drama and I literally live and work in if but babe think about this,"
"This is your family problems and this might be one of those private rich people's dinner parties
where they sort their weird life in the dust and keep it there just to come out looking like the happy
magazine couple," Ricky said.
"Ok Ricky is being over dramatic, even though, yes, he does have a point. Coming from a rich
family, we all know that when we have a problem between families we sort it out between families, but
now you are deciding to bring along you model friends and your suppose to be business rival, I don't
know Celi but it would throw me off as a parent though if I was in that position," Yandel said, staring at
her in the eye for the first time since he arrived here, there was a weird glowy light in his eyes as he
stared deeply at her, she could feel her inside turning as they kept staring at each other for what
seemed like forever and she oddly didn't mind the forever part.
"I'm not over dramatic Mr low budget Keanu Reeves but the fact you consider us model worthy, I
forgive you." Ricky went back to his fries.
"But you are over dramatic," Amy added.
"And you guess should kiss or fuck or something, we can't have Ricky cutting the ice every single
time you guys decide to fill this arcade up with your sexual tension," Amy said without staring up to look
at both of them which left both lf them incomplete shock, Yandel choked a bit while Rachel face just
grew warmer give her checks a little tint of red, it was at moments like this she was Thankful that
Araceli was italian, I guess being in her body did have it's perks.
"I thought we weren't supposed to bring that up," Ricky said, hitting Amy on her hand for the first
time.
"Ouch"
"Wait, so you guys aren't gonna say anything about it?!," Ricky asked, looking at both of them as if
they lost their minds.
"You mean you were just gonna keep having sexual tensions every two seconds till you are all
grey and fragile like clay, common guys, you only get this good a deal once a lifetime, I mean, my hot
ass of a boyfriend dated a french millionaire son and now all he wants is me, that was too good a deal
to pass," Ricky said, crossing his arms and resting back on the chair looking between the two of them
who were within a feet of each other yet didn't want to say a thing.
"Ok another time then," Ricky gave up.
"Look, even though you guys have your doubts on Araceli's plan, I think I understand why she
wants us to be there, I mean, his family will be there, his brother and Alice, and there will be no one to
support her, all she has is her parents who just knows about the cheating video, but we know alot more
and we can pose more of a threat to Xander to not release the rape video," Amy reasoned.
"Wait a sec, what rape video?," Yandel asked, staring apprehensively between all of them.
"Ehm I will fill you in later," Rachel replied, even though she personally had no intentions of
showing him the video, at least not anytime soon.
"Ace is coming over," Ricky said, causing Araceli to look back and Ace was running towards them.
"Heyyy, Yandel, you came!!"
"Hey buddy, are you having fun?," Yandel asked, rubbing his slightly greasy hair from playing
around.
"Yeah!!" Ace exclaimed.
"You guys aren't gonna join us?,"
"The twins and I are having so much fun and I'm beating their asses clean," Ace said, with so
much adrenaline pumping through him.
"Language," Rachel warned.
"Sorry, I'm ridiculing their gaming skills and making them feel agony of losing to a nine year old,"
Ace corrected.
"Wow…" Ricky Muttered under his breath, for a nine years old kid, he definitely had a big mouth.
"Aren't you guys gonna play?," Ace asked them.
"We will, as a matter of fact Araceli is going to play now with you," Amy said, with a sweet smile
staring at Araceli who's eyes widened at the false acclaim, Amy wanted to interrogate yandel alone
without Araceli being there and she couldn't do that if she was here so she decided to sell her out so
they could be alone with Yandel.
"Alright then, let's go let's go!!!" Ace yelled, excitedly drawing at Rachel's arms pulling her up from
the chair, she gave Amy a death look before leaving the table to the other side of the arcade
"Yandel you going to come to right?," Ace stopped in his tracks to ask.
"Definitely kiddo, I'm right behind you," Yandel said, with a big smile. You could see that he really
cared for the kid and he wasn't faking it.
"Okay!!!"
"We will be shooting loops in the basketball ring thingy," Ace yelled back over the noise pulling
Rachel deeper into the Arcade.
"For y'all to sell out your friend like that, you must really want to talk to me alone, so what's up?,"
Yandel said, staring at both of them.
"Oh so now he chooses to be confident...tch" Ricky said, removing his hair from his eyes.
"Look, we have heard Araceli's side of the story but we haven't heard yours, we don't know why
exactly she doesn't want to tell us everything so we want to hear your side of the story, now spill" Amy
said, cutting to the chase.
"Ok so the thing is I really, really like Araceli and we have kind of been business rivals since she
was 21 and she took over the firm, she was meek, calm and very quiet, quite passive aggressive, youText content © NôvelDrama.Org.
wouldn't even have the split idea fhat she could hurt a fly…" Yandel was saying before he got to finish
his sub story, he got interrupted by a shocked looking Amy.
"Wait, what the actually fuck are you saying?" Amy asked, in total shock.
"That Araceli was nice, calm, meek, quiet??" Amy asked, lt didn't add up.
"Araceli is a straight up hoodlum, her clear skin and fire looks is what gave away the fact that she
might be from a rich home," Ricky said.
"Exactly!!!"
"I have known Araceli since I was 14, when our parents started taking us to cocktail parties thrown
by big business men and women to celebrate silly things like new acquisition or launching brands or
just casual fundraisers, I have know Araceli since we started dress ups and cocktail parties, we were
introduced to the business world the same time, we both went to the same business schools, she was
always quiet and timid and let people run over her, I started teasing her then with words trying to get a
reaction from her every time but she always kept to herself, fast forward to few months ago, Araceli's
company made me an offer to better both of our companies and I met up with Araceli only this time,
she was more fierce, determined, smarter, more outgoing, it was like she suddenly developed a whole
new energy, an aura that attracted so many people to her now, since then, I have falling for her."
Yandel finished.
"Wow…" Ricky said to no one exactly.
"I still can't stomach the thought that Araceli was once meek and quiet, she seems so outgoing
and confident in herself that I thought she was born with it,"
"I also found it hard to believe but what can I say, I love the new her." Yandel took a last go at his
coke before pushing it to the center of the table.
"We should join them soon, before Ace decides to come here himself…"
