You’re Crazy!
Chapter 23 You’re Crazy!
Alfredo left her room as she instructed that she needed time to think and process everything.
He knew that it wasn’t an easy decision to me. Heck! He was finding it difficult because he doesn’t want her to do it for he had already started developing feelings for her.
Siiiiigh…
He entered his room and met his brother Alfonso sitting on his chair. Playing with a gun.
“So did she decide yet?” He asked Alfredo.
“Not yet…. she needs more time.” Alfredo said.
Looking pissed he got up and walked straight to Alfredo.
“I told you that the bitch is up to know good!” He yelled.
“Watch your tongue Alfonso!” Alfredo warned. “I won’t stand here and hear you say crap about her okay. She is trying so hard to save her father. For it isn’t an easy way.”
“She needs more time,” Alfredo said, his voice firm. “I know you’re frustrated, but she’s doing the best she can under difficult circumstances.
She’s not trying to cause trouble, she’s just trying to help her father.”
Alfonso stood up, his face red with anger. “I don’t care what you say, she’s nothing but trouble!” he yelled.
“You’re too blind to see it, but she’s up to no good. I can feel it!”
“I won’t listen to you badmouth her,” Alfredo said, his voice growing louder.
“So let me just go in there and put a bullet through her brain!”
“You will do no such thing Alfonso!” Alfredo yelled.
“I won’t allow you to harm her, Alfonso,” Alfredo said, his voice full of authority.
“I understand that you’re angry, but you can’t go around threatening people. It’s not right, and it’s not how we handle things in this family.”
Alfonso’s face was twisted with rage, and he clenched his fists at his sides. “You don’t understand!” he spat.
“I understand more than you think,” Alfredo said, his voice calm but firm. “I know you’re upset about what’s happened to her, and I sympathize.
But Raven is not the enemy here. If you can’t see that, then I don’t know what else to say to you.”Nôvel/Dr(a)ma.Org - Content owner.
Alfonso’s jaw clenched as he tried to control his emotions. He knew that Alfredo was right, but he couldn’t help the anger that was boiling up inside him.
He wanted to lash out, to hurt someone or something, to release the pent-up rage that was threatening to overwhelm him.
“Do you why I am more pissed? It’s because you keep taking that Bitch’s side and it’s really annoying.” Alfonso said and walked out of the room.
As Alfredo walked down the hall, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of betrayal. His brother had always been there for him, and now he was siding with someone else.
Alfredo wondered what Leah had said or done to gain his brother’s loyalty. He felt a twinge of anger, but it was mixed with a feeling of helplessness. He didn’t know how to fix this, how to make things right again.
Then, an idea came to him. It was risky, but it might be the only way to get through to his brother.
He walked towards Raven’s room, his heart pounding in his chest. He knocked on the door, then opened it a crack. “Can we talk?” he asked, his voice tentative.
“What do you want Alfonso because I know that you don’t just come for talks?” Raven asked.
“Are you gonna let me in or you just want us to talk right here?” Alfonso asked.
After a moment of silence… “Come in.” Raven said as she moved to the side to allow him in and she shut the door.
Alfonso took a deep breath and sat down, not sure where to start.
“So what do you want to talk about Alfonso?” Raven asked.
“Look I don’t know the charm you used to brain wash my brother to agree to your terms, but I ain’t gonna allow you destroy him.” He said.
“I don’t know what you are talking about.” She said.
“Bitch! Don’t try to play dumb with me. I know you have brain wash my brother to side with you. But let me warn you that if my brother gets hurt because of you, I won’t hesistate to put a bullet to your damn skull.”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Raven said, a look of confusion on her face.
“I haven’t done anything to your brother. We’ve been working together to try to help my father. I would never hurt him, or you for that matter.”
“I don’t believe you,” Alfonso said, his voice cold and hard. “I know what you’re capable of.”
“What I’m capable of?” Raven asked.
“Yes bitch! I know that you want to turn us against each other and then you will bring Ramos here and let him kill us and then you will go back and continue leaving with him.
Because I know that you are working for him. You pretended that you are trying to save your father and allow Alfredo to risk his life to save yours so that you can know our hideout and then when you have known everything about us, you would tell Ramos and then he would have the upper hand to attack us isn’t it?!”
“You know what, you’re crazy!” she yelled.
