THE MAFIA’S PET

Chapter 16 The plan II

Maddison was having a nap in her room, she had just finished having her bath and had decided to have a nap when suddenly an abrupt knock on the door woke her up from her deep sleep.

Who might be at the door?

She asked herself, stirring lazily on the bed.

“Who’s there?”

She asked, standing up from the bed and walking towards the door.

“Lord Diaz sent me to you ma’am.”

The person standing outside the door replied.

At the name of Diaz, Maddison smiled and walked faster to the door.

Maybe, he forgot something important

She thought.

Opening the door, the face of an unfamiliar young man came into view, she was sure she hadn’t seen him before since she entered Diaz mansion.

“Good day ma’am, I’m Houston and Lord Diaz sent me to pick you up.”

The man muttered, bowing his head slightly.

“Pick me up? he just left a while ago, why didn’t he pick me up by himself?”

She asked the huge man standing in front of her, strangely she couldn’t bring herself to believe what he was saying.

“I don’t know ma’am but he called minutes ago telling me to pick you up.”

Houston replied, still bowing down. This was harder than he thought.

“He said I shouldn’t tell you the location, it’s a surprise”

He slowly added, hoping she believed him this time around. This text is © NôvelDrama/.Org.

“A surprise?”

She asked, smiling.

“he’s full of suprises, I will be back in a minute.”

She announced, walking back inside the room and a sardonic smirk played on Houston lips.

The plan was going perfectly fine.

“Can we?”

She asked, coming out minutes later from the room and a small gasp escaped Houston lips.

He didn’t know she was this beautiful, and the cloth she wore showed her sexy curves in the right places.

She was the real definition of a sexy goddess.

“After you ma’am.”

He said bowing down.

MEANWHILE…

Diaz felt uneasy as the car drove to the hotel for the so called partnership meeting.

He started having this strange and dreadful feelings the moment he left the Mansion and now it has gotten worse.

Something was definitely not fine at the Mansion.

“Stop the car!”

He suddenly ordered.

“Why boss? We are almost at the hotel.”

One of his guards sitting at the front seat complained in frustration.

“I said stop the fucking damn car!”

He growled and almost immediately the car came to an abrupt stop on the road.

“Drive back to the Mansion.”

He ordered and the driver slightly nodded before reversing the car back to the direction of the house.

“Maddie”

He whispered silently

(BACK AT THE MANSION.)

“He’s coming back Houston, be fast with the plan.”

The person announced from the other end of the line and Houston eyes widened in dread.

“He’s… he’s coming back?”

He shuttered, his voice coming out in whispers as he felt a wave of fear rushed through his body and he shivered.

“Yes Houston he’s coming back, we don’t know what went wrong but he suddenly ordered the driver to come back.” The caller explained frustratedly.

“We are going to buy you more time, just make sure you execute the damn plan.”

He added, hanging the call.

“Holy shit”

Houston caused, putting the phone back into his pocket.

“Lady Maddison?”

He called, covering up the little distance he made so he could pick the call.

“Yes?”

Maddison replied, turning back to face him.

“I’m sorry but I have to do this.”

He apologized, bringing out a handkerchief from his nose.

“Do what?” Maddison asked, taking some steps backwards. The aura around them had suddenly changed.

“Hous… Houston? What are you doing…”

She was cut short by the sharp move of Houston as he pressed the handkerchief tightly on her nose.

“Hou… hou…. Hous..”

Maddison shuttered, struggling to get free from his tight grip but couldn’t as the man proved to be stronger than her.

” It’s an order milady.”

Houston muttered, tightening his grip on the handkerchief on her noise.

“Di… Diaz..”

She whispered, finally loosing conciousness and she lumped in his arms.

“Maddie!”

Diaz yelled, feeling a part of him dying and screaming for help and he immediately knew Maddie was in grave danger.

He had half marked her the day they were making out so he kinda felt the emotions she was feeling now.

Even though he hadn’t fully marked her yet, the anguish and struggle he was feeling at the moment were very strong and then suddenly everything went blank.

He couldn’t feel her anymore.

He couldn’t feel any emotion coming from her anymore and he knew something was definitely wrong.

“Stop the car!”

He ordered, his voice coming out in a growl and the car halted on the road the second time that night.

In less than a second, Diaz sped out from the car, dashing out like a crazy cheeteer on the cold lonely road.

He changed direction and entered the forest which was the closest to his mansion and started jumping upon trees like a monkey.

His once beautiful blue eyes now glowed a dangerous silver light and as he ran he kept on uttering a name.

“Maddie”.
