She’s was gone.

His beautiful pet was gone.

He growled angrily.

“Calm down Diaz”

Kia pleaded, slowly backing away from the deadly Devil in front of him.

“She’s gone Kia, just like the rest, she’s also gone.” Diaz voice came out in whispers.

“He succeeded in killing her too, he fūcking succeeded succeeded!”

They were no emotions in his eyes, everything was just dark, and as he spoke, he spoke with great anger.

“I’mm going to kill him, I will fucking kill him and trust me Kia, he will die a painful death.

I’ll torture him very slowly and painful, bit by bit until there is no more voice left in him to scream, I will make him have a taste of his own medicine, I will make him taste my wrath.”

He promised, sowly standing up from the bed, looking like a mad vampire who was about to go on a blood feast.

“Calm down Diaz, you will avenge your pet but not like this, you will kill the guilty and the innocent Diaz, fucking calm down and let’s sort this out!”

Kai once again pleaded, taking a sharp glance at Maddie lifeless body on the bed and a small smile curved on his lips.

It was working.

“Calm down?”

Diaz angry voice pulled him out of his thoughts and his eyes slowly darted back to Diaz.

“I’ve been too calm for long Kai, he takes me for a weakling, he don’t know who the I am. He don’t know who the fuck Diaz Albert is! and I’m going to show him today.”

Diaz avowed, walking towards the door.

Each step he took, shooked the ground, revealing how angry he was.

“Diaz! Diaz!”

He could hear Kai and Henry faint voices calling him back but he wasn’t going to listen this time, humans has taken him for granted for too long, they have forgotten who he was and who he is and he was going to remind them today.

“Diaz, Diaz please stop.”

A tiny voice pleaded from behind followed by tiny arms which wrapped tightly around his waist halting him on his steps.

Diaz frozed on his tracks, immediately the arms made in contact with his body.

She couldn’t possibly be the one right?

He asked himself, slowly turning back and his eyes collided with those green hazel eyes.

“Maddie”

He whispered, staring at her face still finding it hard to believe she was standing before him.

He just watched her die, she fucking died in his arms.

So how come she was standing before him, was this another prank?

He asked himself and his eyes darted to the young men who were both smiling mischievously.

“What the fuck happened?”

He questioned, staring at the young men.

“Well, while you were busying playing with the maid downstairs, I gave her bellandona, so she just went into a death sleep for some minutes.”

Kai replied, a smirk on his lips not minding the deadly glare he got from Diaz.

At the mention of belladona, Diaz lips gave a slight smile.

How could he ever forget bellandona?

Bellandona was a rare plant used as an antidote for deadly nightshade in the ancient days.

He had gone mad with rage that he completely forgot about the rare plant which could be used to save his beautiful pet life.

“I can’t believe you were going to show the world your true colors Diaz, you were slowly turning into a crazy Maniac.”

Kai added, his lips quirking up in a smile.

“Shut up Kai, why didn’t you tell me you gave her bellandona.”

Diaz asked, bending down to carried Maddie in his arms.

She had gone uncionscious again but he wasn’t terrified this time, she just needed some sleep.

“I didn’t tell you because I wanted to watch you go mad again Diaz, you were acting like a crazy idiot.”

Kai said admist laughter while Diaz only gritted his teeth and cursed silently.

“Fuck you.” He cursed, walking towards the bed.

Kai was the only one who could talk to Diaz without fear of being killed or punished.

He had been picked from the streets by Diaz father and brought into the castle to live with Diaz and his brothers and since then they had been awfully closed.

“Did you also know about this?”

Diaz asked slowly turning to Henry.

“Well, i… knew boss… but boss Kai here wouldn’t let me talk.”

Henry stammered, his face buried to the ground.

“I’m going to kill you Kai.”

Diaz promised, turning to look at Kai who was laughing.

“I think my work here is done.”

Kai uttered, packing his stuffs and supersped towards the door.

Giving Diaz a final glance, he left the room.

Kai was also vampire.

“Mas… Master?”

Diaz heard Maddie weak voice called out to him and his gaze hastily darted to her.

“How are you feeling now Maddie, are you hurt anywhere?”

Diaz asked, guilt evidently in his voice as he carefully examined her body.

He had been so careless he forgot the kind of monster Damien was, luckily for him Kai was here to help him but he knew Damien wouldn’t give up.

He never gives up, but that didn’t bulge Diaz, he would personally take care of Damien himself.

“Mas… Master”

She called again.

Maddison had been so terrified. She thought she was going to die and for a slight moment she thought she was really died.

She remembered Kai giving her a powedering substance followed by Diaz powerful scream as she lost consciousness.

She had seen herself in another world.

A world filled with void and darkness, it was very empty and fucking creepy.

But that didn’t last for long because a bright light illuminated the area and she found herself being drawned from the world of emptiness to the present world only to see Diaz going crazy like a crazy demon.

She has been so terrified that she ran to him without thinking twice and flunged her arms around his waist holding him tight cos she was afraid he wouldn’t turn back to his normal self.

“It’s okay Maddie, it’s okay”

Diaz assured, stroking her silky hair.
