Chapter 28: Part Two Queen Of Hell
Chapter 28: Part Two Queen Of Hell
“How are they?” Camilla Dawn asks Key.
“They are fine hon, you need to rest.” Key replies. Key covers Camilla with a warm white blanket. “I will
bring them in to see you after the nurse checks on them. No worries. Just rest.” Key gives Camilla
Dawn a wink and quickly leaves the room.
Key had not left Camilla Dawn’s side for the last six months. Daniel spared her life but forced her to be
a servant to the chosen ones for her betrayal. He was feeling especially generous towards her since
she was the only one who was able to keep Camilla Dawn from hiding the twins from him.
He knew Key would not remain loyal to him, but he didn’t plan on keeping her alive too long. He only
needed her to keep Camilla Dawn in check. It didn’t hurt she was an excellent midwife.
Brooke left the compound shortly after Perdition escaped. No one knew exactly where she was. There
was speculation that Damnation had her killed, but there was no proof. Camilla Dawn had a feeling she
would be back, but she was too consumed with her own well being to concentrate much on where
Brooke was. Camilla Dawn missed her friend. She was lucky to have Key with her. Key stayed with
Camilla Dawn night and day.
They both brainstormed about ways to get to Perdition and possibly get her back on their side. They
both knew that as long as Chaos had her brainwashed with the mind stone, there was no use in even
trying.
They had spent many nights contemplating blowing the compound to bits. They both knew there were
too many innocent people at the compound to do such a thing.
“Maybe we could just blow up the chosen one camp,” Camilla Dawn said to Key. She said this so Belonging © NôvelDram/a.Org.
many times it became a constant idea in both of their minds.
Brooke had blocked both Camilla Dawn’s and Key’s thoughts from Damnation. Luckily they could free
think even when he was close by. They were both scared if they tried anything, he would murder
everyone and start over somewhere else.
Daniel was devious. He has a huge following and an allotment of goons willing to do his bidding. It
would be difficult to just get rid of him so easily.
Camilla Dawn knew she couldn’t hurt anyone. She had hurt enough people on her own. She couldn’t
take it if she ever harmed another. Her time in the void had forced her to relive every single moment of
her life that she regretted. Her biggest regret was the pain she caused Sam and her children. She knew
she should’ve never gone back to New Orleans.
If she could only change that. If she would’ve left Sam and the children there to live out their lives
instead, she got them caught up in something that would ultimately take their life.
Camilla Dawn could not rest. All she could think about was the day she and Sam welcomed their two
boys into the world. It was so cold that morning. Camilla woke up freezing. She told Sam she didn’t feel
well and wondered if maybe she should call the doctor. Sam had been so overly protective of her, he
insisted they go to the hospital.
They barely made it to the hospital. When Sam pulled up to the emergency door she was in full labor.
Camilla Dawn laughed out loud. I really thought he would have to be admitted, she thought to herself.
Within the hour they had two beautiful boys, Samuel and Braden. Camilla Dawn and Sam
worshiped those boys. Until Camilla Dawn found out they were descendants and began researching
everything she could about the void and Venus.
Venus started calling to her. Venus gave her a gift that far exceeded the magic she and Sam
possessed. Both she and Sam were witches, but they didn’t practice anymore. They lived a normal life
away from everything. They just wanted to be parents. They wanted to be happy.
They were happy until Venus came into their lives and ruined everything. The cost was Samuel and
Braden. Samuel and Braden were taken from them by a demon to appease Venus. The thought of her
children being raised by Venus was too much.
Camilla Dawn spiraled out of control. Camilla Dawn landed in the void. Mrs. Bee sent her there. It
wasn’t something she was proud of, but she placed her there in hopes she would break free from the
hold Venus had on her.
Sam moved on after Camilla Dawn left. He moved, opened the bar, and became a caretaker for the
descendants. All he wanted was to save the topside from Venus.
“Camilla,” Daniel says as he walks into the room. “They are beautiful.” Daniel stands over her in his
dark sunglasses. His eyes are completely black now.
“Thank you, Daniel. I haven’t got to see them yet.” She replies. She smiles. She doesn’t want to anger
him. She knows she has to play it cool with him for now.
“How are you feeling?” he asks. Like you care, she thinks to herself.
“I am good, I think. I am just exhausted.” She responds, pulling the covers tighter over her. She doesn’t
want him to touch her.
“I only come to let you know that I will take them with me soon. You can keep them with you for now,
but don’t forget they are mine.” He smiles at her and turns to walk out. He waits a moment to see if she
will respond.
“I understand.” She says just as he reaches the door.
She is on the clock now. I only have a few days to fix this, she thinks to herself. I can do this. I will
make him pay. Camilla Dawn’s mind is running crazy thinking of every way to kill him.
