Chapter 1133
Chapter 1133
Aurelia continued, her voice a playful lilt, "Our heroine's caught in a hell of a bind. On one hand, she is
head over heels for the CEO and doesn't want to see him suffer at the hands of the gang leader,
aching to bust him out. On the other, she can't bring herself to betray the boss who is a ruthless son of
a gun. If he gets a whiff of her disloyalty, he'll off her without batting an eye. She's torn, you know? And
to top it all off, she's got a bun in the oven." She paused, grabbing an orange from and peeling it with
deft fingers.
Beverley, leaning forward, her eyes wide with anticipation, blurted out, "Don't leave me hanging! Keep
going. This story would be box office gold if it hit the screens in the summer!"
Aurelia shrugged, "I haven’t quite figured out the rest. How about you all pitch in some ideas?"
Beverley's eyes did a little dance as she pondered, "Well, she's gotta save the CEO, right? He's her
future, her love and happiness. Sticking with that gang leader will only give her a lifetime of misery. If
that big bad finds out she's pregnant, he'll for sure want the kid gone. Only a fool would stick with the
bad guy."
Aurelia patted her shoulder, "Beverley, this is a script. I should make it juicy. The villain can't be some
old ugly mug, no way. He's gotta be a looker, the kind that's all the rage now, born with a hidden illness,
a dark psyche, a real twisted charm. There's gotta be some heat between him and our girl."
Beverley flashed a thumbs up, "You know what the audience craves, Aurelia."
Aurelia went on, "The villain is a master at mind games and lavishes her with affection on the surface.
But he's just using her as a pawn to play his game. The only person he loves is himself. The man who
loves her is the CEO."
Aurelia glanced sidelong at Lisbeth, hoping to gauge a reaction. Her storyline was getting pretty close
to the mark, wasn't it?
Lisbeth sat there, head bowed, sipping her drink. Her thick hair cascaded down like a waterfall, hiding
her face and any hint of her thoughts.
"Lisbeth, do you watch a lot of shows? Got any suggestions?"
"I... not really... I don't watch much TV," came Lisbeth's soft reply.
"If you were the heroine, would you save the CEO or stick with the villain?" Aurelia prodded gently.
Lisbeth's grip on her glass trembled slightly.
Lisbeth continued, "With just her strength, she wouldn't stand a chance against the villain, right? I
remember the cult leader in some novels poisons his followers to control them. I've heard some gangs
here do the same."
Aurelia's heart skipped a beat. So, was Lisbeth poisoned? Was Geoffrey controlling her with some kind
of drug?
"Lisbeth, that's a brilliant suggestion. Let's add that the villain poisoned our heroine to keep her in line
with an antidote each month, or she's toast."
Beverley clutched her forehead, "Aurelia, are you writing a tragic love story?"
"A little heartache is not bad," Aurelia giggled mischievously. "We'll throw in another character, the C0ntent © 2024 (N/ô)velDrama.Org.
CEO's younger brother. The heroine can't save the CEO on her own, so she turns to the CEO’s
younger brother for help. Because the CEO's younger brother is always naive and innocent as a genius
and a top-notch biologist. He concocts an antidote, cures heroine, and then they both set out to save
his brother."
Grinning slyly, Aurelia added, "How's that for a plot twist?"
