Chapter 1107
Chapter 1107
William sprinted across the yard, his sneakers kicking up tufts of grass in his wake.
"Uncle Leopold, you can't be playing kisses in front of the kiddos. It teaches them the wrong ideas
about personal space," William scolded, wagging a finger at the disheveled man.
Leopold's hair was a mess from the encounter, and he released Aurelia from his embrace.
The little rascal was clearly on a mission to wreak havoc, always at odds with him, looking for any
chance to be a thorn in his side.
"Turn around and cover those peepers, kiddo. You shouldn't be looking at adult stuff."
"I already saw it. The TV says what you're doing is indecent and uncouth," William parroted with a
frown.
Leopold was speechless as he groaned inwardly, "I'm kissing my wife. Not even God can fault me for
that."
William puffed out his cheeks defiantly, "She's my mom too. She married you, but she's not your
property. If you're not good to her, she'll divorce you."
Arnold couldn't help but feel vindicated. In his moment of need, his boy had his back, speaking up for
him as only a son could. Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.
Leopold was getting irked. Could William be Liam's reincarnation?
Was William, hell-bent on revenge, constantly trying to provoke him and get under his skin?
Leopold calmed down, "Adult matters aren't for children. You should be busy learning from your older
siblings, trying to be a likable little dude."
"I don't care about winning your favor. I've got my dad's love, and that's plenty," William retorted with a
pout, dashing off toward Arnold.
Arnold scooped him up, settling him comfortably on his lap.
"My William is the brightest, the cutest. No other kid holds a candle to my boy."
Fredric watched Arnold and William with a chuckle and a shake of his head.
He could tell William was stirring the pot on purpose. Arnold's son was a little trickster, all right.
Aurelia rubbed her temple, at a loss for words. She had a hunch that Leopold was a tad upset,
otherwise, he wouldn't have acted out like that.
"Everybody must be starving. I'll whip up some burgers," Aurelia announced, breaking the tension.
Jelena stood up briskly, "I'll give you a hand."
Not far off on the beach, Nina pulled a face as she observed the scene.
"Alas, William is causing a ruckus, interrupting Uncle Leopold and Aunt Aurelia’s smooch fest."
Kane heaved a sigh. William was undoubtedly doing it for Arnold. In his heart, Arnold was his real dad.
Mira's voice bubbled up childishly, "Does that mean Uncle Leopold and Aunt Aurelia can't make babies
now?"
Nina shook her head, "Nah, they can just kiss more later in their room. Who knows Aunt Aurelia might
have a baby in her belly by tomorrow."
"Wow," Mira widened her eyes in amazement, "So babies get put in the belly through the mouth?"
"Yep," Nina nodded sagely, "After kissing, you can't eat anything, or you'll chew up the baby."
Mira shrank back, visibly alarmed, "Can you drink anything?"
Nina waved her hand dismissively, "Probably not. You might drown the baby."
Skyler covered his mouth to hide his laughter. Even though he was young, he prided himself on
knowing a thing or two about biology. He knew well enough how babies were made, but he kept quiet.
The idea of babies coming from kissing was quite a creative thought. Just then, Aurelia took a sip of
her coconut water.
Mira cried out, "Oh no, Aunt Aurelia just drowned the baby!"
Nina stuck out her tongue playfully, "That's why you can't make babies during the day. Only nighttime
kissing leads to babies, because that's when you're asleep. You don't eat or drink, so the baby's safe."
Mira's face was a picture of shock, "Daytime babies all get chewed or drowned."
Kane focused on building his sandcastle and pondered the conversation. He wasn't sure how babies
came to be, but it probably wasn't through the mouth, right?
William returned to the group.
Mira tilted her head, "William, Uncle Leopold and Aunt Aurelia were in the middle of baby-making, and
you interrupted. Aunt Aurelia didn't get to have the baby, and now the baby's gone."
William pulled a face. He had done it on purpose. If Uncle Leopold and Aurelia kept kissing, Arnold
would be sad, and William didn't want him to feel bad.
"Why does Uncle Leopold need more babies with Mom? They already have Kane. Our family's got too
many babies as it is."
