6:
Page was shocked by what Blue said. He can’t believe that and oh my, the Philippines is a tropical country! Another one is that all of the clothes she is carrying have almost no sleeves and only shorts since she has no plans to go out of his house!
“What ?! Is that serious?” she asked.
She looked at Blue and asked if she was serious about what he said earlier but it’s Red who replied, “Yes, he’s serious about it.”
“Shall we explain to him?” Gray interjects the conversation. She glanced at him but the latter’s attention was on his cousins.
Haya’s response to the question was, “Maybe yes, I guess? For Page to understand, hey, Blue?”
The man they were asking sighed. She didn’t know but it seemed like he suddenly became a problematic person in her eyes. Add to that, he wiped his face with his own palms.
“Wait, wait, what is that?” she asked all of them again in a curious tone.
“Haist, why are you suddenly here!” Blue complained and yelled at her like a child.
“Men, I agree with Haya, you should tell her. Even as small or a little details,” Red suggested.
Blue stood up, unable to escape, as he meaningfully stared at his cousin Red. Then there was no word to climb the stairs that pointed to the high mezzanine of the house. Probably the attic of the small house is on the mezzanine too.
“Where’s that going?” Page asked the people again with a tone of curiosity.
“Just wait for him, Page. Blue is really like that, you’ll get used to it,” Haya simply replied to her.
Her eyes just fixed on the three men who had already gone up too until they disappeared from his sight.
“I can’t think straight. I can’t imagine that I can be with her in the same house,” Blue said without looking back to his two cousins. Red and Grey followed him there, as he expected.
He went straight to the attic because his office, library and bedroom were there.
“You should hide Page and Baby Sky because the heiress, the baby’s mother, is also hiding.”
He frowned at Red. “Who is she hiding then? Then why is she hiding?”
Gray responded to him, “To the governor of Ilocos Norte.”
I think his forehead furrowed even more from what he heard. “What is the mother of the baby’s connection to Gov. Hanz? Why is she hiding here?”
“Page said that the one you got pregnant is being forced to marry the governor. The heiress, whom Page did not say the name, has left the country. It seems that she doesn’t care about your child anymore so she was left in the care of her babysitter, Page, “Red continued.
“Page is really cool, just think about how she will take care of the baby,” Grey commented.
“Gray, there’s such a word called loyalty,” he sneered at his cousin. That’s the only reason she sees that Page forces herself to be the baby’s nanny even though they’ve already mentioned here that she can leave.
“Dude, we can talk Page into pretending to be the baby’s mother so we can present her to Grandpops, when you get back to work.”
“Red, it’s not that easy. My allergy to the likes of her might get worse.”
“Well, that’s why we’re going to ask her to pretend so you can go back to work. That way, the hours you’ll see and be with Page will be less.”
“Exactly!” Grey immediately agreed.
He was stunned. To sum up, Red has a point. But …
“Er, what if one day Grandpops knows that I just contracted her? Will I be able to get a wife right away?”
Grey sneered at him. “Blue, you’re too good at your work but you’re stupid in terms of your personal life.”
Shaking his head, he just ignored it. Besides, it is Red that he always asked for the opinion and answers to his questions.
“Page is holding papers saying that you’re the father of Baby Sky, Blue. We can show that to Grandpops, plus of course, in addition, the DNA test result from our family doctor will be done, if Grandpops still doesn’t believe I just don’t know. ”
Hmn …
“That’s what’s important now, you, to be able to go back to work because your nanny has no intention of leaving here. I know you’re the type of person who doesn’t care what others say, but hey, if I’m being accused of that, I’ll take it right away. Page’ not bad for a choice. Or I could take five women more, just to erase the cheap accusation that I’m gay. ”
“Grey’s right. Think about it. Trust the process, Blue.”
He let out a breath. He silently examined the three papers his printer had spit out before he turned his gaze back to the two.
“Alright, I’ll talk to him about Granpops’ condition,” Red and Grey fist bumped at what he said, “but she needs to sign my rules here at home first.” He was referring to the three papers that his printer had spit out, he even flipped them in the air.
“May I see?” He immediately handed the paper to Red. Grey was immediately curious to look too.
“Call Atty. Harizon for those papers. I don’t want to make this a joke,” was his last word to his cousins before he turned to go down again.”Page and I will discuss his house rules”
“HERE, you can read it first before you sign, suit yourself,” Blue said to Page when he got down again.
He laid down the bond papers on the coffee table in front of her and Haya.
She took it. Her eyebrows creased as he hovered over its contents.
WOw, it looks like he went up to the attic of his house because he made that agreement that Page is reading now. He printed it. And based on the papers she could see, it was three copies.
“That’s three copies, by the way,” he said, seemingly guessing what was playing in her mind earlier. “For you, for me, and this is the original copy. I will have it notarized tomorrow so that our agreement can be official,” he also said, yeah, again, seemingly guessing those who played in her mind recently.
“If you have a question about your agreements and the house rules, fire away, Page, while we’re still here and we’ll explain it to you.”
She just smiled at Red. She understands. She understood that Red would gladly explain to her about the contents of the paper she was holding because his cousin Blue was already there, sitting far away from her seat on the sofa. His thick eyebrows still crossed, which don’t seem to have improved since she and Baby Sky came to his house.
She bit her lower lip when the first of Blue’s house rules came to her seriously: It is forbidden to wear revealing clothes. The house is fully air conditioned, anyway.
“So, is it really serious? I can’t wear this kind of clothes from now on?” she asked, pointing to her sleeveless sando that she’s wearing right now.
Red nodded at her in response.
“But why is it forbidden?”Còntens bel0ngs to Nô(v)elDr/a/ma.Org
“I’m a man and you’re a woman, that’s normally forbidden. Another thing, aren’t you and Baby Sky’s nanny? So, didn’t you have a uniform with your boss before?”
She was startled at Blue’s question. “W – Nothing,” she replied sparingly.
She is no longer silent on its justification and there is also a point to it.
It’s really hard to think badly of them in his own house, especially when they have a baby with them.
“Then, we’ll take care of what you wear. Wear a scrub suit for proper hygiene and identification as well,” Blue gives voice again.
“All right, all right!” she just agreed,
“You should buy the color baby pink or mostly light color please, I don’t like dark colors.”
“That’s exactly what I would have said!” Haya exclaimed, “It’s hot in the Philippines even with AC, so, Page should just wear light colors even if it’s scrubs. Wait, maybe I’m better off buying because I know more than you, boys, about what we girls would want to wear.”
Haya and I giggled because Red, Grey and Blue were just looking at each other. The three must have been surprised by Haya’s attitude as if they had known each other for a long time.
“Anyway, there’s something important at the end of the agreement, please just read,” Blue said sharply again. So, she did as he was told.
And there, she read the important thing he refers to …
Suddenly his eyes widened at what she had read! “You will hire me as your … pretend wife?” She couldn’t believe that!
Blue leaned backward, then looked at her intently. “Yes, name your price, Page. Besides, I only need you when I introduce you to our grandfather. And every time he looks for you, of course.”
