Chapter 356: Everything Must Belong to Claire!
Sean Vanderbilt found Alice’s approach surprisingly amiable. He nodded politely, holding Claire Donovan’s hand, “Claire is indeed my fiancée, but Sinclaire Jewelry operates independently. It’s her own venture. However, should Sinclaire Jewelry need any support, Vanderbilt Group will certainly be its strongest ally.”
His statement was clear, and Alice, astute as she was, understood his implication immediately.
Alice, with a graceful smile, proposed, “COCO, given Sinclaire Jewelry’s influence in your country, it’s well–positioned to enter the international market. Would YJYO have the honor of being a bridge for Sinclaire Jewelry, introducing its exquisite pieces to the world?”
Claire Donovan had been preparing to venture into the international market. Her recent efforts were aimed at bolstering Sinclaire Jewelry’s reputation. She replied, composed and unperturbed, “I am interested in going global, so yes, we can certainly discuss this.”
Alice smiled and extended her hand again, “In half a month, YJYO’s marketing manager will visit Ascalon. I hope we can finalize our cooperation then.”
After exchanging handshakes with Alice, Claire knew that entering the global market wasn’t something to be decided in a mere conversation; it required detailed discussions between both companies.
Having paid for the Starlight Sapphire and Tears of the Rose, Claire and her friends returned to their hotel, reflecting on the day’s thrilling surprises. The biggest winner of the jewelry exhibition was undoubtedly Claire Donovan – not only did her necklace fetch a billion, but she also established a preliminary cooperation with YJYO and acquired two priceless pieces.
The four women sat on the bed, admiring the Tears of the Rose and Starlight Sapphire laid out before them. Suzanne Jenkins expressed her envy, “I should have aimed for one of these earlier.”
Cassie Palmer playfully nudged Suzanne, “But you couldn’t have outbid Claire.”
She glanced at Sean Vanderbilt on the sofa, adding mischievously, “With Mr. Sean here, anything Claire sets her eyes on must be hers!”
Sean raised his glass in response to Cassie’s comment, exchanging a toast with Frederick Vanderbilt, “I love that sentiment.”

Suzanne, a bit disheartened, glanced at Sean. She understood this reality but still felt a tinge of
regret.
Claire Donovan, sensing her mood, reassuringly patted her hand, “Don’t worry. Once you become an
international superstar, I’ll design a unique jewelry set just for you.”
“Really?” Suzanne’s eyes sparkled with surprise and joy.
Claire nodded affirmatively, “Absolutely, as genuine as gold.”
“Ha–ha, Claire, you’re simply amazing!” Suzanne Jenkins excitedly hugged Claire, not minding the
crowd, and smothered Claire’s cheek with lipstick–stained kisses.
Claire, her hair tousled and face smeared, struggled playfully, “Suzanne, calm down, let’s take a
breath here.”
As Suzanne was about to let go, a jarring doorbell rang. Everyone glanced towards the door with
curiosity.
Julia Sanders wondered aloud, “Who could be at our door at this time?”
Cassie Palmer speculated, “Could it be Alice?”
Sean Vanderbilt shook his head, “No, she said she wouldn’t be coming back.”
Frederick Vanderbilt, seeing no one else moving to answer the door, stood up and walked over, causing Julia to burst into laughter, “Look, Mr. Frederick is going to answer the door!”
Cassie giggled, “It’s rare to see Mr. Frederick being so considerate.”
Their amusement turned to surprise as Frederick opened the door to Mia Ashworth’s voice. “I need to
see Claire Donovan.”
Frederick frowned slightly but looked back into the room.
Claire pressed her lips together, knowing why Mia was here. Julia, seeing her about to get up, held her back, “Don’t go, Claire. Let. Mr. Frederick handle it.”
Claire gently freed herself, reassuringly saying, “It’s okay, I can handle it. You all continue, I’ll

As Claire approached, Frederick stepped aside, giving them space.
Claire faced Mia, whose eyes were swollen, about to speak when Mia suddenly grasped her hand, “Claire Donovan, I know I can’t buy back Tears of the Rose for six billion, but I can tell you something about your mother. Would you return the necklace for that?”
Claire, though attached to Tears of the Rose, was willing to trade anything for information about her mother. Mia had indeed found her weak spot.
Claire looked quietly at Mia, seeing her desperation and struggle, believing Mia wouldn’t dare lie about her mother at this moment. After a pause, she nodded, “Okay.”
Mia’s eyes lit up with hope, pulling Claire towards her room. “It’s not convenient here. Let’s talk in my room. I’ve already sent Luna away. Trust me, Claire, you’ll find it worth your while.”
Claire allowed herself to be led, stopping at Mia’s room door. Mia quickly unlocked it and eagerly pulled Claire inside.
Mia, obviously conflicted about discussing Winona Summers, invited Claire to sit on the sofa. She then walked to the bar, grabbed a bottle of red wine, and two glasses. After pouring the wine, she sat beside Claire, her trembling fingers clutching one of the glasses.
