Chapter 2102
Struggling with every ounce of his strength, Yitiao tried desperately to shake off Lydia, attempting to turn over and stand up. His forehead veins bulged with the effort, yet he couldn't move Lydia in the slightest. Moreover, Lydia's foot pressed down harder on his neck with each attempt he made to move. With every twitch, the pressure on his neck increased, nearing suffocation. The fear of death swept over Yitiao in an instant, sending him into a panic. He looked towards Jesse, pleading for help, "Jesse, help me out, man! She's got the strength of a bear!"
"Ha!" Jesse, with his chubby cheeks, spat on the ground and contemptuously said to Yitiao, "Can't even handle a woman, and I told you to eat more, didn't I? Let me handle this."
Saying so, Jesse, with his bulky frame, charged towards Lydia with a menacing aura. He swung his fist, aiming for Lydia, but before he knew it, Lydia had grabbed his wrist in a swift motion, twisting it backward.
"Ah!" Jesse screamed in agony, his wrist twisted and held in a vice-like grip, leaving him completely powerless. His body even began to tremble from the pain. He had been the tough guy for years and had never been so utterly defeated.
"Mercy, lady, mercy!" Jesse shouted, begging for his life.
Yitiao, who had been waiting to be rescued, was terrified to hear Jesse quickly begging and turned his eyes frantically, his previous defiance replaced by pleas for mercy. "Lady, please, we beg you, we won't mess with you again."
They had thought Lydia was an easy target, a mere damsel, but she turned out to be a formidable opponent, easily handling two grown men. She was clearly not someone to be trifled with.
Lydia, knowing when to stop, let go of Jesse's wrist and stepped off Yitiao's neck, her voice sharp and commanding, "You have one minute to get out of my sight!"
Yitiao scrambled up from the ground and ran off in a hurry, while Jesse, stumbling, gestured to the other three guys who were still hassling Ethan to follow him and leave quickly. True to her word, within a minute, they had all vanished from Lydia's sight.
Lydia dusted her hands off, not even glancing at Ethan as she prepared to leave. Just as she took a few steps, Ethan caught up to her, his face a mix of sycophancy and gratitude, "Dr. Lydia, I'm utterly in awe of you. That was incredible!"
Only then did Lydia spare him a
glance. His lip was bruised, and he limped as he walked, his posture far from the confident demeanor he usually displayed. As a doctor, Lydia knew all too well what his condition implied. Though his face bore only a minor wound, his body was likely covered in bruises.
"You'd do better to get those injuries checked at a hospital than waste your time flattering me," Lydia told him before turning to leave.
Ethan persisted, following her closely, "Why would I need to go anywhere when I have a doctor right here?"
Lydia stopped abruptly, turning to

stepping in earlier. Those guys would have beaten me to a pulp over a business dispute."
From their conversation, Lydia gathered that Ethan had been targeted by Vitiao and his friends as a form of revenge for a business deal gone wrong. Yitiao, feeling slighted by a loss to Ethan, had resorted to violence in

Such premeditated violence could indeed have been fatal. At the very least, in this scenario, Ethan was not at fault.
