Kennedy was unaware that Winston’s subordinates were ambushing the area. Once the attack was initiated, Kennedy’s subordinates were quickly surrounded and defeated. Winston’s subordinates quickly and effectively apprehended and subdued Kennedy’s subordinates.

Then, Winston grabbed Kennedy’s arm, threw him over his shoulder, and stepped on him.

“Kennedy, I never intended to pick on you. It was you who led us to this point.” Winston glanced downward, the flicker of his eyelashes casting a gentle shadow beneath his eyes. He gazed down at him, his demeanor exuding indifference and a touch of sarcasm.

His behavior further fueled Kennedy’s anger. With a sneer, he remarked, “If you had only brought the same decisiveness and composure to your marriage as you did to your career, perhaps your relationship wouldn’t have suffered so greatly.”

Winston was stunned and confused by what he said.

Kennedy lay on the ground, sarcastically remarking, “I heard you got divorced today. And you wasted no time cozying up to your mistress right after. You’re such a fool, Mr. Greer.”

Winston frowned, but Kennedy smiled and scoffed. Then, Winston retracted his foot and pulled Kennedy up.

Kennedy exclaimed angrily, “What’s so great about Joanna? She’s literally a bitch. Winston, can’t you see the truth? You’re simply a fool for liking a bitch like Joanna!”

Winston narrowed his eyes and listened to Kennedy’s reprimand. “Stop talking trash about Joanna.”

“Why can’t I trash–talk her? You’re the only one who treats her like treasure. Winston, she’s such a liar!”

Winston was puzzled at his words.

“Winston, you’ll regret this.” Kennedy forcefully pushed him away.

Kennedy thought Winston was going to regret it. He was going to regret marrying Joanna.

Kennedy laughed wildly several times, which was unusual on such a peaceful night with only the sound of the wind.

“The truth you believe isn’t the real truth. Winston, you’ve disappointed the person who loves you unconditionally!”

Winston was baffled by him. What was the meaning behind Kennedy’s words? Which truth was being referred to? Who was left disappointed?

Kennedy turned to Winston with a cold smile. “If you want to know what I was talking about, release my cargo.”

Hê valued this cargo batch greatly, as it held the key to opening the Yerwick market and gaining a foothold there.

He knew that to avenge the Sullivan family and defeat Winston, he needed to become stronger. Moreover, Kennedy had a trump card that he had yet to reveal.

Winston’s curiosity was piqued. “Kennedy, what do you mean?”

“I won’t speak until you release my cargo,” Kennedy said, spreading his hands. Content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

“Kennedy Sullivan!” Winston yelled.

“Winston, if I reveal this to you, it’ll definitely surprise you! By the way, you’re divorced, right?” he asked again.

Kennedy had previously tried to get close to Millie. Winston wondered if what he was about to say was connected to Millie or if he was planning to harm her.

Winston stepped forward, causing Kennedy to retreat. At that moment, Kennedy exploited his vulnerability,

“Are you trying to harm Millie? Winston frowned, his eyes filled with a mixture of emotions.

He chuckled, “Could anyone possibly harm Millie? Winston, you clearly don’t understand her at all!”

He was surprised that Winston had no idea that Millie was in charge of M Base. However, Kennedy knew all of Millie’s secrets.
