Jeffrey and Lara froze. Barbara was also stunned. She looked at Alfie, then Moira, and asked in shock, “You don’t really mean it, do you?”
That was also the question on Alfie’s mind. Lara took the chance and said, “How come? Moira won’t be so ruthless, right, Moira?”
Moira stared at Alfie. “Dad told me last night that you would apologize to me on your knees, and that’s why I’m here today.” She left him no choice.
Alfie was never
never so embarrassed. He looked at Moira and asked, “If I kneel, sill you forgive me?”
“It’s my choice to forgive you, but it’s your choice to kneel or not,” Moira answered.
Lara’s face darkened a little when she heard what Moira said. She wanted to say something but was stopped by Jeffrey. Of course, she wanted Alfie to manry Moira, but Moira was not their only choice in Amelo.

“I kneel and apologize to you, Moira! If you are still mad, slap me as you want,” said Claire. She grabbed Moira’s hand and slapped herself with it while apologizing to Moira.
Seeing this, Alfie hastily reached out to drag Claire up. “Claire, get up. You don’t have to do this!” said Alfie.
However, Claire pushed him away. “As long as Moira forgives you, I can do anything!” she said.
Allie had no choice but to look at Moira. “Moira, what exactly do you want me to do?”
Moira glanced at him and asked, “Feel sorry for her?”
As she said that, she picked up the red wine glass on the side, filled it with coffee, and poured it down Claire’s head. “Karma’s a bitch, Claire. This is what you deserve.”
“Ahh!” Claire exclaimed. The coffee was still hot. Alfie couldn’t bear to watch anymore and snatched the glass. “Enough’s enough, Moira!”
