“Yep.. look at your so called father and father in law… You will understand…”

Roy smiled nervously.

Skyler looked at his father who was standing beside his mother and he was looking at Skyler with raised eyebrows and look which says,

‘really son, you were not happy with this marriage?’

He diverted his eyes towards his father in law, Damian was glaring at him. He was literally like,

‘Bastard she doesn’t love you and you dare to touch her’

Skyler Smirked at their reaction, he was enjoying it like,

‘what they can do, she is my fucking wife now…’

Skyler looked at Rosetta who was red like tomato. This kiss has affected her very badly, she was still in shock.

Skyler shook her by arm.

“Are you okay?”

He asked and she looked at him. She cleared her throat and nodded.

“Good… Come”

He led her towards the dance floor. All couples were enjoying their dance too.

Skyler grabbed her by waist and she placed her hands on his shoulders as they started swaying on soothing and romantic music.

She wasn’t comfortable in her dress and heels. Her injured leg was hurting.

Rosetta was not looking at him and he wasn’t liking it.

“Are you trying to avoid me, Rosa?”

He asked.

She looked at him as he asked with serious tone.

“I wouldn’t be marrying you then”

She answered.

“Then why you are not looking at me… You didn’t received my call yesterday. I am not fool… You are avoiding me and I want answer that why you are doing this…”

He asked firmly.

She took a deep breath.

“Don’t you think, you went too far that day…”

She mumbled.

Skyler looked at her, he knew that she was behaving like this because of that.

“Then why you didn’t stop me sooner… You were responding back. I stopped when you stopped me… You liked that.”

He said.

“But it’s not right, we can’t do this… We should make boundaries… I am not used to this and it’s better if we stay away from each other. We both know the reality of this marriage…”

She replied looking at him.

“I understand…”

He agreed.

“I won’t touch you without your consent”

Rosetta nodded in agreement as they kept dancing. Skyler looked at his parents and they were discussing something serious.

He looked at Roy and Roy gave him assuring nod.

Skyler understood that Xavier has cleared everything.

His parents are the main reason of him not believing in love. He could clearly see that they are in toxic relationship. Their obsession for each other is toxic, specially his father. His mother is too fragile for mafia world. Skyler would have never let her live with his father but he had no choice. He was too young and weak to protect his mother. And the most important thing is only his father can control his mother’s behavior, she easily gets depressed and anxious. He would have lost her if it wasn’t for Xavier. But Skyler can’t forget that he and his mother almost died because of Xavier.

He respects him as a father but he doesn’t trust him as his mother’s husband.

The thing they called love is nothing but just an obsession and Skyler hates it.

“Come on its time for garter ceremony…”

Olivia said excitingly.

Rosetta closed her eyes and sighed. It was going to be awkward. They made her sit on the chair and she was already red with embarrassment.

Skyler knelt down in front of her and looked at her. He chuckled at her reaction, he didn’t know that she can get this much shy.

“Why are you so red… I hope you are wearing panties…”

He whispered and she looked at him with wide eyes.

“I hope you are wearing because I don’t want anyone to see what’s mine…”

“It’s not yours…”

She countered.

Skyler chuckled and lifted her dress up, he went inside and Rosetta closed her legs tightly. He caught the garter between his teeth and rubbed his nose tip on her thigh telling her to spread her legs. She spread her legs and he slide it down. Everyone cheered when he came out.

“Don’t worry I couldn’t see anything, it was dark down there…”

He teased and she looked away with red face.

After that everyone decided to have dinner. They and their families were sitting at the big table.

Rosetta and Skyler was sitting there silently while Waiters served their food. They were about to eat but Jackson grabbed Rosetta’s attention.

She looked at him confused. Jackson hinted her about skyler’s plate. She looked at it and understood that what is he trying to say.

His food was poisoned, she quickly grabbed his plate and slide away from him. Skyler looked at her with questionable look, everyone was looking at her weirdly.

“I want us to eat from one plate…”

She said calmly but inside she was cursing herself. She said anything which came to her mind. It was wierd but at least he will be alive. Skyler looked at her suspiciously.

“I mean it’s our wedding day, it will be beautiful memory…”

She explained further.

“Awe, so proud of you…”

Olivia exclaimed.

“How romantic…”

Skyler raised his eyebrows amusingly.

“Great…”

Rosetta handed his plate to waiter and slide his plate infront of Skyler.

“Why don’t you guys feed each other…”

Bella said and Skyler glared at her.

She Smirked and Rosetta looked at her with frown.

“Amazing idea, Bella… Meet me later, I’ll thank you for this…”

Skyler gave her smile but she knows that it wasn’t loving smile, it was threatening.

Now they had no choice but to feed each other because everyone was watching them. They fed each other.

Skyler was being careful not to drop anything on her dress and she was being careful not to ruin his suit.

They were done and he wiped his hands with tissue. He looked at her and she had sauce on her lips.

He grabbed her chin and gently wiped it with tissue. She raised her eyebrows at him and he looked at her boringly.

After Done with formalities Rosetta finally threw her bouquet and was ready to go home.

“Enjoy your night… I hope you love my arrangements… By the way thanks me in the morning…”

Olivia whispered in her ear.

Rosetta closed her eyes, she knew Olivia will do something. It’s yet see what she has done.

Rose looked at Skyler as they were ready to leave. He gave her assuring nod saying that her daughter is safe with him.

Rose kissed Rosetta’s forehead and bid her farewell.

“Don’t forget I’ve got your back… You can always come to your mother…”

Rosetta hugged her mother and father tightly.

Skyler opened the door for her and she got in. She noticed that they weren’t going to his house.

“Where are we going?”

She questioned.

“Hotel… For our wedding night”

He replied casually and she frowned.

She didn’t agree with anything like that before marriage.
