Chapter 6 Parasite
Chapter 6 Parasite
This man, Aaron Gu, was always a pain in her heart; although so many years had past, his image was still imprinted in her mind; she had dreamed about him before, but never for once, so vividly like it was now.
"Babe, what's the matter with you?" The handsome face of Aaron Gu was so close yet so unreal; but that sometimes gentle and sometimes aggressive kisses of him and that strong male body odor of him was saying to her that what she was experiencing was not a dream.
"babe, lovely girl, don’t you cry."Aaron Gu kissed away the tears from Amanda's eyes with affection. That charming smile on his face would have women swooned over him.
Amanda was shaking. Her hands clutched at the sheet, let go, clenched at it again. Then she buried her face in the soft pillow.
The image of that young sunshine boy was shattered as the innocence and shyness of him on that virgin night faded away; he was now a man of self indulgence and lewdness. Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.
When Aaron Gu finally had enough, he hugged Amanda's shaking body and said in a gruff voice close to her ear: "I hate women who cry in bed..."
Amanda's eyes were staring blankly into the darkness of the room. Unlike a dream, everything was so real, her senses were real, the pain and the pleasure were real, what Aaron Gu had just said were real --
‘I hate women who cry in bed.’
Hehe.
"I wonder if he remembers? Once the love was so deep and heated, in that spring and summer. Yet now. Don't talk, it's raining, and we prefer to stay naive..."
The ringtone of the phone broke the awkwardness.
"Pick it up, baby." When Aaron Gu saw her in a daze, he grabbed the phone from the cabinet, threw it to her, and without a second thought, he got up from her, flexed his muscles, and headed for the bathroom.
"Will he still know me, if we meet again one day? Does he still remember, that I was once his only lover. Does he still keep the note that writes ‘I love you’...”
The ringtone continued to sing the song of a girl’s missing for her first lover. Amanda did not answer but looked in the direction of the bathroom where water was splashing insides.
"It doesn't really matter, at least we've shared the same secret and the same memories, whether he still recognizes me or not..."
Suddenly, the door of the bathroom “crack” opened. Amanda was shocked. She grabbed the phone tightly and stared into Aaron Gu's eyes without blinking.
Aaron Gu craned his upper body out, beads of water rolling down his tanned chest; there was still white foam on his chin, and his dark, mesmerising eyes cold glared at her as he said impatiently: "Babe, don't let me hear the damn ringtone again!"
With that, he slammed shut the bathroom door again.
He could still manage to call her “babe” even when he was actually angry and impatient; hum, that was men; so was Aaron Gu, so was Bill Fu.
"Rae Yan" was the name that popped up on the screen of the ringing phone; right before Amanda could press the answer key, the phone stopped and the "Rae Yan" hung up the phone.
She did not know her.
Amanda tried to get up, but every muscle and bone of hers were aching; Aaron Gu had worked so hard on her; and besides the burning, a scar that seemingly scabbed recently caught her attentions just like the cinnabar mole.
Cinnabar mole?
Amanda lowered her head to check on her chest; that “heart”-shaped cinnabar mole was still there; she held out her fingers to touch it; her fingers were extreme long as well with her nails untrimmed; Amanda would have trimmed all her nails due to design work. And the long hair, was it growing over night? She remembered that she had a short hairstyle for years; it was not her, not at all.
Amanda wrapped her arms around her body and walked over to the mirror. Her eyes widened in horror as she saw the figure reflected in the mirror -- who was she?
Not only the body, but the face was oddly strange; the eyebrows were well matched to the eyes and made it extremely charming while the perfect red lips flattered the delicacy of the face; The only drawback should be childishness that she bore; but it did make her look pure and innocent somehow.
The dull pain in the lower abdomen made Amanda frowned, so did the girl in the mirror; Amanda reached her hands and touched it gently, so did the girl in the mirror. Then, all of a sudden, Amanda saw a trace of blood stain on the cloth spread like a flower blossomed and soon engulf her completely; she was drowned completely in the mixed smell of blood and burning and the odor of Lafite...
"Dong". Amanda collapsed onto the floor and bumped into the cabinet; she struggled to her feet with the support of the cabinet; she pinched herself trying to wake herself up; but it was not dream; it hurt...Amanda resigned to her vision and slid down again to the floor; everything was real; her parents...
The sound of the running water came to a halt, Aaron Gu pulled the door open and stepped out wearing a white bath towel; drying his hair with another towel, he gave her an indifferent peek before walking to sofa and turning on the TV.
"I saved your life from a bunch of old men for sure," he said, pressing the remote control casually as if there was not a show that could even intrigue him then pointing in Amanda's direction. "But you have gave me a wonderful night and morning. By the rules, here's the check on the table."
Amanda was still lost in her thought; on hearing this, she turned to look blankly at Aaron Gu.
Amused by her absent-minded expression, Aaron Gu threw away the remote control, leaned back on the sofa, stretched out his long arms and asked: "What? Are you dumb? I haven't seen you say a word since this morning. Didn't you know how to talk last night? Virgin night, right? Let me know if the money is not enough."
He tossed the check at her.
The check fluttered unerringly down at Amanda's feet.
Staring at the digit written in the familiar handwriting on it, Amanda suddenly opened her lips and smiled. It was indeed a large amount of money for her virgin night.
She picked it up, examined it unblinkingly, then slowly opened her mouth saying. "That was very generous of you. Thank you for the reward."
The voice was also unfamiliar and a bit too young to Amanda; there was the softness of a southern girl and a sense of intimidation of a young in her tone .
"I wonder if he remembers? Once the love was so deep and heated, in that spring and summer. Yet now. Don't talk, it's raining, and we prefer to stay naive..."
The ringtone sounded again from the sofa, where Amanda had threw it; the name popping up on the screen suddenly dawned on Aaron Gu; he smiled: “Ali, Ali...Babe, is Ali your boy friend? You had been calling his name last night.”
