Return of the Bad Boy Alpha Chapter 21
Naomi
I woke up with a headache. Magnus is still snoring away, and I decide to get up and start my day. We have been going on a walk before breakfast the last few days. It has been nice. Magnus gets to keep apprised of what is happening with his unit, and he gets to see
his friends. He is also less grumpy. Unfortunately, he also sees Suzie, who is like a Klingon and never leaves.
The other day during our fight, she came up to me and told me that she and Magnus were moving in together. I knew she was lying, but it still enraged me enough to want to leave and go home. I sigh and get out of bed and hear Magnus sigh. "Where are you going?" He mumbles. I turn too fast, feeling dizzy, and wind up face planting on the bed. "Naomi? Baby?" He asks with concern.
I roll onto my back and huff. "Whoa, that was weird. I felt dizzy, and the next thing I know, I am nose first on the bed."
"Are you alright?" He asks.
I shrug and sit up. "I just feel a little off this morning," I slowly get up and wander into the bathroom. I start the shower, and strong arms circle me, and he kisses my neck.
"Well, be careful, my love," he whispers, fanning his hot breath on my skin.
We step into the shower, and I relish the hot water on my body. My headache eases a bit as Magnus caresses my body. I lean into him, wanting more than his hands. I feel him getting hard against me. I turn myself in his arms and look into his green eyes. "Are you thinking what I am thinking?" He asks with a waggle of his eyebrows. "That I want more than a shower right now?" I smirk.
His lips smash mine as he presses me against the wet wall. His hands explore my body, with one landing on my breasts. I gasp from the sensation and lean my head back. He nibbles the skin of my neck and licks my mark, making my legs feel like jelly. I lightly grasp his hard shaft and stroke the soft skin. "Oh, mama," He moans out.NôvelDrama.Org copyrighted © content.
"Put it in me," I whisper, and his eyes go big as he turns me around and bends me over. I spread my legs as he presses himself against my entrance. I shudder as he grasps my hips and thrusts into me. I moan and squeal as he increases his speed. I press my hands against the walls. "Magnus," I cry out.
"That's my name, Baby," He breathes out. He grunts as he lifts one of my legs to go deeper and harder.
I start to see stars the harder he goes. I feel myself getting closer to orgasm as my walls tighten around him. I scream out my orgasm as he shoots his hot seed into me and pulls out. We stand in each other's arms, kissing for a few minutes before finishing our shower.
After drying off, I dress in my usual outfit of jeans and a t-shirt. I pull my curly hair into a ponytail and head out of the bedroom. I no longer have a headache or feel dizzy, but I am starving. "Would it be alright if we got breakfast before our walk?" I ask as Magnus walks into the kitchen to turn on the coffee pot.
"Uh, sure, I guess." He mumbles and kisses my cheek. He inhales and looks at me. "Are you wearing perfume?"
I shake my head. "No, just my lotion, and it doesn't really have a scent."
"Strange," He says as he pours some coffee into a travel mug. He takes my hand, and we walk out of the apartment.
We head down the cafeteria, and Magnus greets his men. Dulce is sitting at a table with Joanna and their son Elliot. Dulce and Brutus returned unscathed from the mission, but a few men got injured.
"Hey, Dulce," Magnus greets his best friend.
"Mag?" Dulce looks us up and down. "Don't you usually walk before eating?"
"Naomi wanted to eat first," Magnus shrugs and sits down.
I walk over to the line to get my food and wrinkle my nose. The food smells off to me. It's just typical cafeteria fare of scrambled eggs and sausage. But it smells strange. Suzie is behind the line serving and gives me her usual look of discontent. "Good morning, Suzie," I greet her with a fake smile. "What man stealing scheme have you concocted today?" She glares at me. "Shut up," She snarks.
I roll my eyes and skip the hot food and get some cereal and fruit with cottage cheese. I sit at the table, and Magnus is just sipping his coffee. "Aren't you going to eat?" I ask him.
"|
I got coffee," He says and takes a piece of melon from my tray.
I start to eat the cottage cheese and spit it out. "Well, that is turned," I set it down.
Magnus takes a bite of that. "Tastes fine to me."
I hear Joanna snicker, and I glance at her. "What?"
She shakes her head. "Nothing," She looks at Dulce, who smiles and nods.
"What?" Magnus asks his best friend.
"Nothing," Dulce shrugs.
I eat the cereal and munch on melon while Magnus eats my cottage cheese. "So, are you excited to go home for a few days?" I ask him. We are driving to Ghost River today so that I can get the rest of my stuff.
"I mean, I just saw everyone," He laughs. "But I always like seeing my family and friends."
Dulce stands up. "I'll see you in the office for a few minutes before you leave, right?"
Magnus nods. "Yeah, I'll be there."
"Cool, see you later," Dulce says. She leaves with Joanna and Elliot.
I finish eating and head out with Magnus hand in hand. Suzie is leaning against a wall outside, smoking as we walk by. I grin at her as we pass, and she glares at me.
"What are you grinning at?" Magnus asks and sees Suzie. "Quit antagonizing her."
I look at him and flutter my eyelashes. "I don't know what you are talking about."
We walk around the training grounds and watch the warriors spar for a bit. I see the longing in Magnus's eyes. I know he is eager to get back to training. The doctors won't release him to full duty for at least another week. We head back to the main building and to his office.
Dulce sits at his desk on the phone, having a heated conversation. "Shit!" She says after slamming the receiver down.
"What's up?" He asks his lieutenant and sits in front of the desk.
"The vampires attacked another pack," Dulce tells him.
Magnus sighs. "Well, you know what to do, Dulce."
She stands up. "Right." She rushes out of the office.
Magnus moves to his chair behind the desk and sighs. "I hate not being there," He grumbles.
"I know. I'm sorry you can't help them," I tell him.
Magnus turns his attention to the computer and types while grumbling. The phone rings, and he picks it up. "Hello Kerry," He greets the king. "Another? God damn. What is going on, sir?"
My heart sinks as Magnus talks to the king. Things are getting serious with the vampire problem, and I can hear the distress in his voice. He hangs up the phone and curses. "What's going on?" I ask him.
"We have two attacks," He mumbles, picks up the phone, and dials another number. "Yeah, Dulce, I need you and Brutus in the office now." He orders and hangs up.
Moments later, Brutus and Dulce enter the office with Phoebe also. Magnus stands up and walks around his desk. "I need you to split up. One of you take a unit to Forest Mountain Pack, and the other goes to Lake Rose Pack," He tells them. "More attacks?" Dulce asks, and Magnus nods. "They are like a f*****g plague."
"Tell me about it. I'll be here piggy backing," Magnus tells them.
"Should you be doing that?" I ask.
He looks at me with an expression I know not to argue. "I am tired of sitting on the sidelines, Naomi. If I can't be out fighting, I need to be here doing something." He looks at Dulce and Brutus. "I want you guys ready to go in ten." "Yes, Major," Brutus salutes him.
"Can I go?" Phoebe asks.
"No," Brutus growls at her.
"I should go." Phoebe pleads with her mate.
"You aren't going, and you know why," Brutus glares at her.
"You can help me, Pheebs," Magnus tells his sister.
She folds her arms, "Fine."
"Can I still go to Ghost River?" I ask.
"I'd rather you stay here until the smoke clears," Magnus responds.
"The fighting is way north and east of us. I'll be fine." I tell him.
He huffs. "Fine."
I feel bad for pushing it, but I want to get my stuff and get it over. I also want to see my parents and siblings. "I'm sorry," I stand up.
Magnus pulls me into his arms and kisses me. "I know you'll be okay, Baby. I am just a little on edge."
I kiss him back. "I know," I run my hand down his furry cheek.
Dulce and the others leave the office, and I stay with Magnus for a bit, helping him coordinate the two units going on the mission. I then go up to the apartment to grab my overnight bag. I feel slight nausea as I walk around the bedroom. I grab some granola bars from the kitchen and munch on one, and it settles my stomach. I head back to the office, and Magnus is hard at work, barking orders, but he stops long enough to kiss my goodbye and hand me the keys to his SUV.
"Please, for the love of the Goddess, be safe," He says before giving me a long passionate kiss.
"I love you, Magnus Bowie," I say as I look into his eyes.
"I love you, Naomi Monroe." He looks longingly at me before releasing me.
I hesitantly leave the office and head for the garage. I have the misfortune of running into Suzie on the way out. "Now, no touching my man while I'm gone, alright, Suzie?" I say to her.
"You don't own Major Bowie," Suzie snarks.
"The mark on his neck says I do," I smirk at her. "I may not look like I can kick ass, but my father is the top warrior of Ghost River, and he did teach me a thing or two, and I will put you in your place," I tell before walking away.
The drive home only takes a few hours, and I feel utterly exhausted and queasy by the time I get to my parents' house. My mother greets me on the front lawn.
"Naomi, my dear," She pulls me into a hug.
"Hi, Mom," I hold her tight.
She leads me into the house, and my father is in the living room. "There's my girl," He greets me.
"Honey, you look pale," My mother says while tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.
"I feel a bit off. I have a headache, and my stomach feels icky." I tell my mother, who smirks. "What?"
She shakes her head and walks towards the kitchen. "Is that all you feel?"
"Mom?"
"I'm just asking, Naomi," She opens the fridge and pulls out a bottle of ginger ale my father mixes drinks with. She pours some into a glass and hands it to me. "See if that settles your stomach. Your brother and sister will be here soon for dinner." I sip the ginger ale, inhale the cooking food's scents, and find myself running for the bathroom. I empty my stomach and hear my mother snickering from behind me. "Mom," I drawl as I stand up and rinse my mouth. "What is so funny?" "I do believe you are pregnant, Naomi."
