Chapter 195
“Alright, we have something to do, let’s go first,” said Barclay as he and Willette left the coffee shop.
As soon as they stepped out, Willette’s face turned gloomy. “Jesse is keeping a close eye on Nydia now, he has someone follow her whenever she goes out,” she said.
“Although he solved the last problem, it still made him uncomfortable. He probably doesn’t want anything like that to happen again,” she added.
Willette sneered, “He’s still uncomfortable? He got both fame and fortune, didn’t he?” She still held a grudge against Jesse for not being able to bring him down.
“Why do you hate Jesse so much?” Barclay suddenly asked.
Willette was taken aback for a moment, then became angry. “He’s Nydia’s husband, and he won’t divorce her. As long as he’s by Nydia’s side, we can’t control her.”
“If that’s the case, why did you let them be together in the first place?” Barclay asked. He was aware of what happened back then, as he was also involved.
“Who knew they would entangle themselves for so many years and not get divorced? And who could have thought that she would get pregnant with twins after just one time!” Willette exclaimed.
She had thought it through back then, if Jesse slept with Nydia, he would be impossible to be with her. Nydia’s reputation would also be ruined, which would have been a double benefit. But she didn’t expect Nydia to get pregnant, and with twins no less.
“We still need to persuade Nydia to work in your company. You should care for her more since she likes you, right?”
Barclay looked at her with a smile. “Aren’t you afraid that I’ll fall in love with her? Are you so confident in letting me flirt with her?”
“I dare you to! If you dare to betray me, I won’t spare you!” Willette warned.
Upon hearing Willette’s warning, Barclay immediately thought of her kissing Jasper, and he sneered in his heart. Where did Willette get the courage to warn him?
“I dare, but, I just won’t. You’re the only one in my heart, and I’ve decided to be with you for the rest of my life. So you can’t leave me, otherwise, I’ll have nothing,” he said, looking at Willette with deep affection.
He was very confident that no woman could resist such a gaze, and sure enough, Willette fell for him.

Nydia and Julia returned home.
“Julia, I’ll talk to my husband about this,” Nydia said.Belongs © to NôvelDrama.Org.
“Okay, I understand,” Julia replied. She had been at the Pascall Villa for many years, and learned to read between the lines and understand people’s underlying intentions.
That night, Nydia found out that Jesse would be back late, so she went to his room and waited, afraid of missing him.
She took a shower and lay in his bed, watching a movie and keeping an eye on the time. She noticed that it was already past eleven, and Jesse rarely came home this late.
[Still not back yet?]
[Almost there.]
Nydia relaxed and fell asleep. When she woke up, it was still early, not even seven o’clock. Jesse was sleeping next to her and showed no signs of waking up.
She suddenly thought, could she take advantage of this opportunity to take a look at Jesse’s leg injury?
It had been so long and she still hadn’t been able to see it, making it impossible to design a treatment plan.
She took a deep breath and slowly exhaled.
She cautiously reached out to lift up his pants while preparing her camera in photo mode so she could study it better.
The lighting in the bedroom was a bit dark, so she lowered her head to get as close as possible to his leg.
She was about to see it and her heart was beating fast. She tried her best to stay calm and not wake Jesse up.
However, a cold voice suddenly rang out, “What are you doing?”
