Pursuing My Ex Wife in Full Blooming Spring

Chapter 184

Chapter 184

After all, she needed to drown her sorrows. However-

Dylan glanced at his watch. It was already close to 10 p.m., and he arrived at the bar at 8 p.m. Exclusive content from NôvelDrama.Org.

Olivia arrived earlier than he did, which meant that she was drinking for more than two hours.

He secretly wanted Olivia to get drunk sooner so that he could send her home and be done with her, but more importantly, he wanted to get to Scott so that he could tell him what Olivia said.

The reason Olivia came to Herland in the first place was because she found out about what happened at Sicily Pub through Sasha.

Who would have thought Sasha would be at Sicily Pub as well that night?

The only fortunate thing was that Sasha did not recognize Naomi at all and instead mistook her for Olivia. Therefore, Olivia thought that Scott was out with someone who looked like her—a replacement of sorts.

Dylan did not know what to think of this rather misshapen misunderstanding.

Thankfully, Olivia was yet to find out about Scott's plans to win Naomi back. He had to prolong this discovery as long as he could, and especially he had to prevent Olivia from discovering Naomi's existence. Otherwise, this would prove to be an even bigger challenge for Scott.

After all, Olivia was not someone to be messed with.

All of a sudden, Dylan heard some rustling noises from behind him. He turned around to take a look, but his expression darkened as soon as he realized what was happening.

The bar was blasting neon lights that seemed to be a reflection of the sinful acts that went on behind the scenes.

At this moment, a familiar girl was being harassed by a man in a nearby booth.

A man was trying to drag Belle away, but she was not someone to be underestimated. Belle picked up a beer bottle and brought it down against the man's head. A clatter ensued as the glass broke, and the man was momentarily stunned. Belle seized the opportunity to slip out of the man's grasp, but the man regained his composure and grabbed hold of her before she could escape. He turned around and pinned her down against the couch.

Everyone turned to watch the commotion, but no one was interfering, except Dylan.

The moment he saw Belle, he put down his glass and sprinted over. The man who towered over Belle raised his arm above him in a motion to slap her, but Dylan grabbed his wrist just in time.

The man turned to glare at Dylan. "Who the hell are you?"

"Get out of here!" Dylan sneered. "Don't you dare try to stir up trouble on my territory!"

With that, he cocked his fist and punched the man right in his face, sending him crumpling to the ground.

Belle snapped out of her stupor the moment she saw Dylan. She sat up and exclaimed, "Dylan!"

Dylan, however, did not even flinch. He stepped on the man's chest and snarled, "Don't you dare touch my woman!"

By this time, the manager arrived and was trying to talk Dylan down. "We're incredibly sorry, Mr. Quinn! We'll take care of this right now!"

With that, he glanced at two of his lackeys, who quickly removed Dylan's foot from the offending man, picked him up from the ground, and scurried away.

Dylan turned to the manager with a cold look. "What would've happened if I hadn't interfered?"

The color drained from the manager's face. "It is indeed our fault, Mr. Quinn. We won't let this happen again!"

"You better keep to your word."

With that, Dylan brought Belle out of the bar, having forgotten entirely about Olivia.

Olivia watched as they left, her lips curled in a self-deprecating smile.

This was what it was like to be cared for. When would Scott do the same for her?

Olivia turned around and downed the entire glass of wine.

The night just began.
