Pursuing My Ex Wife in Full Blooming Spring

Chapter 179

Chapter 179

Scott looked at her porcelain fair neck. He went over to her and picked her up.

Naomi came to her senses. She wanted to say something but was at a loss for words. What should she say?

He knew his own schedule. She did not need to comment on it.

Just like that, Naomi shut her mouth and let Scott take her to the bathroom.

She had just woken up and had not washed up yet.

Scott placed her in front of the sink and got her to stand properly. He held her by the waist. He could feel her warmth, but he did not let go.

Naomi noticed what he was doing. She stood still, but just in case, she grabbed the sink too. Once she was standing, she said, "Alright, you can go."

He responded with a nod and retracted his hand. "I'll be outside. Call me if you need anything."

Naomi paused for a while before responding with a hum. Then, she grabbed her toothbrush.

Scott did not head out of the hotel. He took his notebook and sat on the couch to work. Naomi came out a while later.

When he heard movements, he looked over. He placed his notebook on the coffee table and walked over to lift her up and place her in the wheelchair.

When she was brushing her teeth, she realized that the first button on her shirt was missing, so when she came out, she kept clutching the collar. She never expected to see him sitting on the couch, concentrating on work.

She had never seen him this way before. She looked at him so intently that she stood on the spot and forgot to head over. Content rights by NôvelDr//ama.Org.

She was suddenly picked up and placed in the wheelchair. Naomi said, "You can go to work."

She really did not want to disturb him. Scott wanted to push her to the walk-in closet. When he heard what she said, he lowered his gaze and looked at her.

She had her gaze lowered, and her brows furrowed. She looked extremely uneasy and resentful. She did not want him around her.

"We have to head to the cultural center later," Scott said in a low voice without any emotion in it.

Then, he pushed her into the walk-in closet.

Naomi was stunned.

The cultural center?

She finally remembered. Since everyone was at Herland already, naturally, work had to begin. Quentin told her to rest and that she did not need to deal with the event. Naturally, she did not give it any more thought.

So, was Scott planning on taking her there to work with the others?

It had to be so. If not, why was he still around?

At that moment, Naomi felt apologetic. She thought he was staying there to care for her until she recovered, but that was not the case. She had misunderstood him.

"I'm sorry." Scott was about to head out when he pushed Naomi to the walk-in closet. Her apology made him stop in his tracks.

Naomi did not hear a response from him. She continued saying, "I thought you were staying here to just care for me, and you don't care about your work. I don't want you to do that, but you wouldn't listen to me. I was rather rude about it. I'm sorry."

She was apologetic and serious about it.

In fact, she did not need to say it explicitly. He was so smart. How could he not understand? However, she still said it anyway. Her words were filled with sincerity. Her gaze was equally apologetic.

Scott looked at her sincere gaze. He could not find it in himself to speak from his heart.
