Chapter 6 I Agree to Divorce
Chapter 6 I Agree to Divorce
Beth did not know how long she had been unconscious. She felt like her mind sinking and floating on
turbulent waves.
‘It's loud, and there are a lot of people talking.’
Suddenly, the darkness in front of her disappeared.
Beth woke up, gasping for breath, and suddenly sat up in bed.
She was startled into cold sweat.
Why was she in the hospital?
“… Madam, you are pregnant.” The servant, Joe, looked at her with concern, saying, “Luckily I went
back to the villa yesterday to take some things, otherwise, you and the baby would be in danger.”
These words shocked Beth.
Baby?
The words of Joe were a shock.
Was this her hallucination?
She actually got pregnant?
At the end of her life, she could have a child of her own…
She didn't even know whether she should cry or laugh, whether it was God's mercy or punishment.
Tears gushed out of her eyes.
Before she felt happy, Joe continued, “But the doctor said that you are in a very bad condition, so the
pregnancy must be terminated.”
Beth touched her belly with trembling hands, and cried.
She had to terminate the pregnancy when she just knew about her pregnancy?
“I'm not going to abort. I'm going to give birth to the baby.”
She wanted to have the baby, for she had lost one.
Even at the cost of her own death, she wanted to give birth.
She loved Aaron with all her heart.
She always felt that the child was that lost child who went back.
She could not... lose it again.
“Madam, the doctor said you are in such a serious condition that you cannot have any children!” Joe
was anxious, saying, “Besides, Mr. Williams will not let you have the baby.”
It was true.
He would force her to abort for Kathy. Joe had witnessed how coldly Aaron treated her in these years.
‘Kathy was pregnant.’
‘In front of Kathy, my child and I are worthless!’
Beth was frozen, her eyelashes trembling slightly.
“I won't let him know I'm pregnant!” She interrupted Joe with a loud voice, “You can't told him either!”
If Aaron did not know it, she could have her baby.
Beth was so heartrending as to cry again, saying, “I will find a way.”
“I want to make one last effort.”
‘I don't want to lose everything to Kathy.’
Beth insisted on giving birth to the child. And Joe, as a servant, could not say too much about it.
She did not want to stay in the hospital, so she completed the discharging formalities that day and
returned to the Pearly villa.
Beth did not have time to be sad. When she came home, she asked Joe to make porridge for her. Text © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.
She was not alone now. She had her baby.
She had no intention of having surgery before. Now with a child, even if there was only a narrow
chance to give birth, she would not have surgery to kill the little life herself.
She sent a text message to Aaron.
She agreed to divorce.
To not let Aaron find her pregnancy, she could only agree to divorce as soon as possible. Then she
could take the child to run far away from his sight.
Otherwise, her child would not survive.
There was always a trade-off between Aaron and her children, and she had now made up her mind.
Less than half an hour after she sent the message, her porridge was not yet ready but the gate of the
villa was kicked open, Aaron appearing at the entrance.
Beth leaned by the door, looking at him with her pale face.
She burst into laughter.
Knowing that she agreed to divorce, Aaron was so eager?
During the five years of their marriage, he returned to this villa only a few times.
For Kathy and her baby, he could not wait!
“Oh, you've finally figured it out and seen who you are!” Aaron, approached her step by step, with his
hands in the pockets.
This woman had never agreed to divorce. Why did she agree now?
Beth raised her head, tears falling down her cheeks.
“Are you so happy about getting divorced? Are you not afraid… that I am lying to you?”
For so many years, she couldn't warm him heart.
He desired to come over and ask her to sign the agreement, for fear she would change her mind the
next minute.
He… hated her so much all the time.
She was a disagreeable deaf woman in his eyes all the time.
He probably... did not really remember her.
Aaron, full of anger, walked over and clutched her arms.
“Beth, you dare to fool me?” His voice was murderous and his eyes were burning with fire.
