Painful seduction

Nelly rushed inside the hospital ward, and found Cathy crying on Mr. Anderson’s chest. She hoped it was not what she was thinking.

” What happened?” She asked Cathy.

” It’s…he’s dead,”she stammered with tears.

Nelly walked backwards as she fell to the ground, why was his death so painful to her. She had acted like she didn’t care before now. So why did she care about him now.

The doctor came along with a nurse who had a tray of drugs but seeing the two women in a terrible state, they already knew it was too late to use drugs.

The doctor moved forward to check Mr. Anderson while the nurse stood behind.

After checking his pulse and feeling nothing, he did other Minor checkups and still got the same results. He motioned for the nurse to cover him up.

” What’s wrong with him doctor, he can’t die.” Cathy yelled.

” Pull yourself together, Young lady. We’ve lost him.”

The sounds of the doctor were so terrible that she started another outburst. The nurse moved forward as they covered Mr. Anderson, while the doctor helped Nelly take Cathy out of the room.

” What will I tell , Axl. Cindy Killed my father.”

” She did nothing of such. You know he got the attack after seeing Cindy. This could only prove all Dementrio ‘s accusations were right on him.”

Cathy said nothing to her as she dried her eyes, Cindy was the cause of the whole drama. If only she had not appeared, then she won’t be kidnaped, Mr. Anderson won’t have an attack and there will be no need for Axl to try to kill himself.

They got to where Dementrio was and he looked sad,

” Have the doctor said anything?” She asked.

“No… he’s still with her.”

“I’m so scared that I will loose my baby or maybe Rhea. I don’t want anything to happen to them.” He muttered.

” I’m sure they will be fine. Your baby and Rhea. Where’s Cindy?” She asked.

” She went to see Damien…she said he was admitted here.” He answered innocently.

” What’s going on exactly, why is everyone In the hospital?” Nelly asked no one in particular.

” How is Mr. Anderson doing?” Dementrio asked, if only he noticed that Cathy appeared more sad than she had left then he wouldn’t have asked her such questions.NôvelDrama.Org (C) content.

” We lost him…he’s dead right now.” She broke down in tears.

He squeezed her hand gently and hugged her, Nelly who would have thought that they would fall in love sone day watched them.

” You say Damien is here?” She pulled away from him.

” Yes…just the room away from Axl. Like the next door…don’t mind my descriptions.” He apologize.

The doctor attending to Rhea, came out,

“You can go see her, one at a time and don’t cause her discomfort. She’s still recovering.”

” I will check in Damien and come back to see Rhea.”

“Is my baby okay , doctor.”

” Mother and baby are fine, luckily she was brought in time and the bleeding wasn’t a miscarriage.”

There was joy all over as he smiled before entering the room,

He found Rhea awake, she wasn’t happy and he didn’t understand why.

” Are you okay?” He asked.

” I want to go home…” she muttered angrily.

” The doctor said you need rest, we would go home together once the doctor discharged you .”

” Not home with you…I want to go home with Cindy.”

” What is wrong with you? Are the sedatives affecting your mind too?” He was a bit angry and tense. What was going on with her?

” Is that why you hugged her?” She asked.

He smiled as he finally understood where her anger was coming from.

Rhea was such a drama queen, he thought.

” Are you jealous because I hugged Cathy?”

” You agreed I’m not lieing.”

” You can’t lie to me.” He said lovingly and kissed her on the forehead.

” The doctor said our baby is safe,” she said to him as she touched his cheek.

Rhea knew he was happy about the baby being okay, and it made her glad. She couldn’t imagine what he would have done to Axl if he hurt his baby. She was sure he was not going to consider their friendship.

” Is everything okay? Why does everyone look tense?” Rhea asked.

” So many terrible things happened but everyone you care about is fine.” He answered, not wanting to spill the truth about everything. He knew it was going to worry her.

” Cathy had tears in her eyes…I know her as a strong lady.”

Dementrio took a deep breath, Rhea was very stubborn and her curiosity was sometimes unnecessary. If he didn’t tell her then she was going to find it out herself and it was going to be a big problem.

“Mr. Anderson is dead.” He whispered and held her palms.

Rhea opened her mouth in a gasping, ” That’s crazy. What really happened to him?”

” I don’t know…I had no idea he was here but the doctor mentioned Cindy and Nelly brought him here,”Dementrio explained.

Rhea said nothing as she watched Demetrio, he appeared happy and excited. She wondered what made him so overjoyed.

” Why are you so excited?”

” My baby is fine and my girl is fine.” He kissed her palms.

” I wonder what you would have done to Axl if something happened.”

” About Axl …he cut his wrist today.”

“You’re joking?”

” He’s in the hospital room next to Damien.”

She said no more, today was surely cursed by the Heavens. Mr. Anderson’s death was shocking, she hadn’t met him but she won’t wish something bad to him. The only person who was supposed to die was Damien but he was in the hospital receiving treatment. Cindy was so crazy and acted foolishly, she was the cause of every problem she was facing and now Axl is now fighting for his life thanks to her. She wondered if Cathy was ever going to forgive her especially if Axl was to die. Cathy was going to surely ruin Cindy’s life.
