Chapter 26 Wicked Woman
reading more In the wide yard, several thugs were having a barbecue.
Calvin looked around and didn’t find Mary.
“Hey! Who the hell are you to walk in here like that?”

As soon as Calvin finished his sentence, there was someone laughing back in the room. Then, a
middle-aged man in a suit, with his hair combed back, came out slowly.
“Hahaha! You bastard finally came here!”
Calvin was stunned for a while. It was Paul Bradford. How would he be here? Where was Mary?
Paul walked towards him. Seeing that he was having some doubts, he got even cockier, “What?
Wondering why I know you’re here? Let me introduce someone to you, John...”
The window on the second floor was opened. John was standing behind the window with Mary in his
arms. He was smoking and glaring fiercely at Calvin.
“Calvin, you’re finally in my hands now.”
Based on the look on Mary’s face, he finally realized he was tricked.
That was the reason why she chose to lead him to the middle of nowhere. They wanted him dead.
Calvin looked around and there came eight people from both sides and the door behind him was
locked.
John threw his cigarette butt at Calvin's feet and said, “Thank God. This was easier than I thought.
Let’s see how you’re gonna get outta this. Babe, you’re so brilliant to think of this plan. This bastard is a
pain in the ass.”
Mary leaned over his chest and said in a sweet voice, “I told you he is a simp. Once I smile at him, he’ll
just run to me and beg me to take another look at him.”
Calvin was shocked that Mary was the one who set him up.
She was indeed a wicked woman.
Mary looked down at him, “Calvin, you brought this to yourself. Why can’t you just continue to be a
useless son-in-law of the Houston family? Why can’t you stop messing around? You really think you’re
gonna be a big shot someday?”
Calvin glared at her in her eyes and clutched his fists.
John chuckled, “Baby, he got mad. What to do? I’m so scared. He must be angry at you too. After all,
you played him like a violin. If I were him, I would get furious too.”
Mary snorted, “Calvin, who do you think you are? You’re nothing but a live-in son-in-law. The Houstons
treat you like garbage and you still work your ass off for them. Even at the cost of pissing uncle Paul
off. You ask for it.”
Calvin took a deep breath and calmed himself down, “John and Paul. Uncle and nephew? No wonder
why you are all so disgusting. Mr. Bradford, how’s your anus doing?”
Paul couldn’t help clutching his ass. He could barely stand up right now. Even if he walked, he could
only do it in a slow pace.
This was 100 times worse than hemorrhoids.
John stared at him coldly, “You must be the one who sabotaged my uncle’s career. I was gonna only
break your legs. Now that you’re so loathsome, I’m going to break your junk too.
”
Mary acted coy, “Honey, his wife would be miserable.”
“Hahaha, she has been living like a widow for a long time. I heard that she never allowed him to lay a
finger on her. Maybe she is still a virgin. What a douche bag he is.”
“Mr. John, his wife must be having fun out there and cheating on him.”
“Yeah, let’s help her deal with her loneliness. His wife is freaking hot.”
Calvin clenched his fists. Even though Rita and he were getting divorced, he would never allow anyone
to say such horrible things about Rita.
“You asked for it.”
Calvin made a sudden move and the punks surrounding him got kicked to the ground.
John barked, “Why are you still standing there? Go and get him!”
Bang! Calvin’s moves were incredibly hard and fast.
He punched and broke someone’s jaw.
Then he kicked and shattered someone’s arm.
Calvin kept getting better at this and he was doing it out of instincts.
After a while, there were eight men lying and howling on the ground.
John gasped and wondered why he could be unbeatable.
“How...how did he get so good at this.”
“Mr. John, what to do? He’s coming at us.”
It took Paul a long time to move aside. But as he turned around, the men he brought here were all
down.
He was astonished at the scene.
Calvin looked at him and sneered, “Mr. Bradford, don’t be scared, I won’t pick on a disabled person.”
“You...”
Calvin walked inside the building without realizing that Paul was holding wine bottle and aiming at his
head.
At this very moment, Calvin dodged that bottle and grabbed it in his hand.
Without any hesitation, he twirled the bottle and smashed it on Paul’s forehead.
Paul was knocked out and fell to the ground.
John had got cold feet at this scene. The men his uncle brought were all thugs and they were good at
fighting. He couldn’t imagine that they couldn’t even take one hit from Calvin.
Who said he was a loser? Was there ever a loser like that?
“Why the hell are you hiding Block the stairs and don’t let him come up here!”
Seeing that John didn’t know what to do, Mary was frightened. She just got carried away and told him
she was the one who came up with this idea. She couldn’t count on John anymore. Would Calvin let
her go?
He would. After all, he used to be in love with her.
The old wooden stairs started screaming squeakily. He was coming up here.
John’s whole body was trembling out of fear, “I give ten grand to whoever block him from me!”
John’s only hope was that Calvin wouldn’t barge in and beat him up.
The wounds from last time hadn’t completely healed yet.
Two dumb-asses grabbed a chair and tossed it down the stairs, hoping that this would stop Calvin from
coming up.
Then after some cracking sounds, someone flashed through the stairs.
Calvin’s eyes turned red and he wasn’t aware that he looked vicious like a devil.
He felt his palm was getting hotter and the Yin-Yang Compass was swirling like crazy.
The air was sizzling and the unseen dark power was sucked into the compass. The dark light was
soaring.
“Oh my god, his eyes! I’m out!”
“I wanna go home!”
These two men couldn’t take the heat and they just jumped out of the window.
“Ahhh...” they screamed painfully.
John leaned on the window and saw them holding their legs, crying. Their bones had already struck out
of their flesh.
John’s head felt numb and he turned to Calvin.
“What...what do you want?”
Calvin grinned, “What? Mr. John seems quite forgetful. You tricked me over here and you’re the one
who asked me what I want?”
“I…It’s not me, it’s her! She came up with this idea! This bitch...”
Mary gazed at him. She didn’t know how despicable John could be. He could throw her under the bus
without giving it a second thought.
“Really?”
Calvin’s voice was cold as ice.
John said hastily, “It’s her. I was thinking that I should just let it go. After all, we’ve got history and this
hatred is never going to an end if I keep seeking revenge. But she had been pushing me and telling me
I should get back at you. She also called you a loser and you only got lucky last time. If I bring more
men with me, I’ll kick your ass.”
Mary felt hopeless. This was the man she had loved for so many years. What a jerk!
Mary wasn’t a coward like John. Because she knew Calvin well and he wouldn’t be so hard on her.
“Yes, I said it. I just hate you. What are you gonna do about it? You’re gonna hit me or push me down
the stairs?”
Calvin said coldly, “Rest assured, I won’t do that to you. After all, we’ve got history.”
Mary was glad to hear that. He was still such a simp just as she expected.
I gave you a chance and you gave it up yourself. I never begged you for it.
On the contrary, John was terrified. Calvin let Mary go. Did that mean he couldn’t let him
slide? reading more
