Chapter 2561
Ezekiel nodded. “Yes, that’s the way to do it.”
Harmony wrapped her arms around his neck. “So, the person I should thank the most for this is you!”
Ezekiel tilted his head seductively. “And how are you going to thank me?”
Harmony leaned down and nuzzled his shoulder. “Tonight, Mr. Weiss, you can ask for anything.”
Ezekiel laughed heartily, holding her slender waist contentedly. “Alright, but remember your words. No begging for mercy later.”
Samantha’s case had entered the procedural stage, with Ezekiel’s lawyer following up. He intended to use Samantha’s case against Harmony to strike at everyone in the entertainment industry, letting them know the consequences of messing with Harmony.
In less than a week, the case was resolved. Samantha was sentenced to five years in prison, shocking the entire industry.
Even Catalina was taken aback. She hadn’t expected Harmony to be so capable. But then again, this was a manifestation of Ezekiel’s love for her.
That evening, Harmony received an invitation, not a dinner party in the industry, but a dinner with Ezekiel’s grandmother.
Cecelia missed her and asked Ezekiel to bring her home for a meal. Of course, Ezekiel was more than happy to bring her home, while Harmony felt a bit shy but deeply honored.
At 3 p.m., Ezekiel brought her to his grandmother’s. Seeing them hand in hand, Cecelia’s eyes twinkled with a smile.
“Ezekiel, Harmony, you’re here. Come sit down. I’ve prepared some snacks.”
“Thank you, ma’am,” Harmony said, feeling overwhelmed.
Cecelia, having reached her age, was very good at judging people now. She could see that although Harmony was in the entertainment industry, she still maintained her original intentions and a pure heart.
She wouldn’t look down on any profession. To her, every profession was worthy of respect.
“Ezekiel, you should have brought Miss Mayo home for a meal a long time ago. If your mother isn’t away, she could have met her,” Cecelia said, implying something.
Harmony’s heart tightened, and she couldn’t help but feel extremely nervous. She was okay with meeting Cecelia, but the thought of meeting Ezekiel’s parents made her nervous. Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.
“Grandma, there’s no rush. We’ll gather again for a meal when Mom and Dad come back, Ezekiel said, knowing that it was only a matter of time.
“Harmony, let’s go outside for a walk and enjoy the sun.”
“Ma’am, you can call me Harmony!” Harmony said.
Cecelia immediately reacted and giggled, “Yes, yes, I should be calling you Harmony. Miss Mayo is too formal.”
“Go accompany Grandma for a walk!” Ezekiel cooed to Harmony.
Harmony nodded and took Cecelia’s arm, accompanying her for a walk in the yard.
The sun was just right, and the breeze was not dry. The weather in June was particularly comfortable. Cecelia took her to sit on a bench outside the yard, carefully observing Harmony, believing she was a
girl with good fortune with her well-proportioned features.
“Harmony, are you dating Ezekiel?” Cecelia asked directly, and Harmony responded with a bashful nod. “Yes, we’re dating.”
“Wonderful! I’d love for you to be my granddaughter-in-law. Ezekiel is very impressive and husband material,” Cecelia said as she praised her grandson. Harmony smiled and said, “Yes, Ezekiel is very good, very impressive.”
Cecelia then took Harmony to the second floor and personally gave her a gift: a beautiful diamond necklace.
“Take this necklace as a gift from Grandma. Last time at the restaurant, it was all rushed. Let me make up for it this time, Cecelia said.
“No, no, I can’t accept it, ma’am. It’s too valuable,” Harmony was startled and put the box on the table. She really couldn’t accept such a valuable gift.
However, Cecelia wouldn’t take no for an answer. She picked up the box and put it back into Harmony’s hands, “We’re going to be family sooner or later. I only have one grandson, and you’re my only granddaughter-in-law. What’s mine will be yours in the future. You’re just taking them in advance.”
