Angie stood up when she saw Nicholas walk into the house. “Nick, how did it go?”

Nicholas casted his mum a look which showed how angry he was. “It went bad! taking Jane out of that asylum was just a huge waste”

“Tell me son what happened?”

“Liam and Amelia are not in the city they travelled out for their honeymoon this morning and Jane will have to leave tomorrow!”

Angie sighed in frustration, she knew how angry her precious son must be since he has a thing for that actress.

“What do you expect? they are married so it’s natural for them to go on vacations and honeymoon forget that dear”

“How can I forget this mum? I spent a lot just to get Jane out of there and now Liam and Amelia are gone!”

Angie looked around to ensure mark wasn’t lurking around, she also had an immense hatred for Liam and his wife but seeing her son this way made her blood boil.

“prince, please try as hard as possible to get that girl out of your mind, she is bad news!”

Nicholas threw down his mum’s hands that were resting on his shoulder. “Stop it mum! there’s absolutely no way that I can erase her from my mind”

“Well you have to try! can you see your state? you look miserable and Liam will definitely end your life if you try as much as to look in her direction”

Nicholas raised his head to make eye contact with his mum. “All those years ago when you snatched dad from aunt Brianna weren’t they married? did your parents not try to stop you? and what did you do? you drugged dad and made him sleep with you!”

“Nick!” Angie called out and threw a slap at his face.

“You are pointing a finger at me?” she pulled his ear. “Did I do a mistake by giving birth to you? you are questioning my character how foolish of you”

“If you are not pure hearted don’t try to teach me what is right or what is wrong”

Nicholas stormed out leaving Angie to herself, she let out little pants. “My own son questioned my character today, I have done everything for him and this is how he could repay me” She sobbed quietly.

Louisa heard a knock on the door, she knew it must be Dylan. “I’ll be there”

She stood up and went to the door, when she saw the familiar silhouette standing in front of her, her face fell.

Jake’s eyes narrowed down to her dress which was too much for a movie date.

Louisa forced a smile, Dylan would arrive any minute from now. how was she going to fix this mess?

“Didn’t you see my text?” Louisa asked to see him shrug.

“I saw it but I chose to ignore it, wait! do you have other plans for tonight?”

Jake and Louisa turned to Dylan who just arrived, he took slow steps towards Louisa.

“You look really pretty” Dylan complimented, Jake’s brows creased in fury, not this guy again.

Louisa blew air on her forehead, she could already predict the scene these two makes whenever they meet.

Jake suddenly burst out into laughter shocking Louisa and Dylan.

“Louisa did you seriously cancel our date again because of him?”

“Jake it’s nothing like that”

Jake raised a brow at her “Then explain this madness to me!”

“As you can see she is dressed up to go out with me what other explanation do you need?”

Dylan said adding more fuel to Jake’s anger, Louisa sighed inwardly.

“Stay out of this! I’m talking to my girlfriend”

Jake barked angrily at Dylan, he doesn’t get why this playboy is busy chasing after Louisa.

“She is still your girlfriend not your wife stop acting like an obsessed husband”

Jake caught Dylan’s collar, pushing him backwards.

“Do you think you can teach me how to talk to her, there are plenty other girls in the city why don’t you go after them? why must it be her?”

Dylan pulled off Jake’s hand that was gripping his shirt. “Hey! mind how you speak and behave with me , you are taking this too far”

“am I? there are plenty bars and clubs in the city where you can find a lady who is willing to offer herself to you”

“Jake I’m sorry that our plans were cancelled maybe some other time”

Jake stared at Louisa in unbelief, she had really changed a lot. “Louisa this isn’t the first time that you are doing this, you keep on making excuses to be with him”

Dylan checked his wrist watch and sighed, they barely had few minutes to reach his house”.

“Lou we are running late”

“I’m sorry Jake I will talk to you some other time”

“There won’t be another time” Jake uttered bitterly and left..

Amelia rested her head on Liam’s bare chest listening carefully to his heartbeat.

Liam pulled the duvet to cover their body. “Liam I feel worried, my mind is very restless and I don’t know why”

“You don’t have to be worried I’m here with you, all you should be thinking about as of now is how to make our own little family”

A small gasp escaped her lips as she stared at Liam with her face turning red. “Mr arrogant you are unbelievable, you want a baby?”

“I figured out how much you like kids, so why don’t we make our own kids?”

“It’s not a bad idea though but first you have to break off your alliance with Allison”

Liam released a deep breath, Allison was not a big problem to him at all. “Consider it done”

Amelia smiled tightening her embrace on him, but a part in her heart still felt anxious, it felt like something big was coming her way. Like the calm before the storm.

Liam’s phone on the bedside table rang for a few seconds before he picked it up. “Make it snappy!” he ordered.

He sat up as soon as heard what happened. “Find her at any cost!” he said through gritted teeth.

“Liam is everything okay?”

“Jane ran away from the asylum”

Amelia’s heart slammed against her ribcage, she knew Jane won’t stay still. she would come after her.

Liam saw the uneasiness in Amelia’s eyes “Don’t worry we will find her”. Liam assured.
