Cecile was startled and jumped out of fright she held her chest while letting out deep gasps.

“you scared me there, I’m sure you must be Liam’s mum”

“Yes I am and I must say your daughter really looks a lot like you such a beauty”

Cecile blushed red, she gets compliment like this often. “It’s nice to finally see you”

Brianna wiggled her brows teasingly “I have a feeling that we will bond really well”

Amelia came out of the bathroom drying her hair with a pink towel. She took a glance at Liam who was busy on a call.

“Make sure you send lots of roses I want to make her smile” He said and ended the call.

Amelia folded her arm in jealousy, so Liam really doesn’t have any feelings for her.

“He wants to send flowers to a lady, I hope the thorns doesn’t prick her finger!” She threw the towel angrily at him taking her luggage out of the room.

The corner of his lips pulled up into a roguish grin, her anger was just too cute.

Amelia opened the door to one of the rooms in the house, she threw her luggage harshly on the ground which slid till it hit a drawer.

“He doesn’t care about my feelings, he is planning to send stupid flowers for another lady, I’m sure it must be Allison! when next I see her I will make sure I pluck her two eyes out!”

Her stomach grumbled slightly she hasn’t had anything to eat since today. “Aww my poor tummy is upset”

She left the room and began searching for the kitchen. She came across one of the servant who directed her to the kitchen.

When she got there she saw a lady giving orders to the cooks.

The lady noticed someone was standing behind and turned.

“Well hello there! I guess you must be Amelia”

The lady exclaimed in excitement, she held Amelia’s hands pulling her into a tight embrace.

Amelia blinked in confusion at the overly jolly lady , she could swear that she had never seen her before.

“Oh my bad! I’m Abby Grayson”

Amelia arched a brow, a Grayson? she ogled suspiciously at the lady. This was supposed to be she and Liam’s private time together.

“You are a Grayson?”

Abby smacked her lips that was painted red. “Yup! I’m Liam’s older cousin”

“Cousin? I thought old Grayson had only two children”

Abby’s mouth formed an ‘o’ shape, she tapped her chin for a while. “You are quite smart! I’m Martha’s adopted daughter I’m sure you know her”

“Yeah she is uncle mark’s sister” Amelia said and sighed in relief, for a moment there she thought that Abby was another lady who was obsessed with Liam.

“I’m sorry If I’m intruding your privacy but I promise it’s just for one night, the thing Is I ran away from home my mum set up a blind date for me and you know how girls hates blind dates I hope you understand?”

Amelia nodded in understanding and was led away by Abby.

They went out through the back door and found themselves in the garden.

Amelia inhaled the soft scent of flowers, Abby pulled Amelia to seat on a bench next to her. “Nice view isn’t it?”

“yeah it is” Amelia tried to force a smile but Abby could see the pain behind that false smile.

“You can consider me a friend to share all your problems with”

Amelia casted a look of surprise at her, was her heartache really visible?

“Umm I’m okay there’s nothing to worry about”

Abby let out a smile, Amelia couldn’t help but notice the cute dimples on her face.

“I can see the pain behind that smile of yours, I told you earlier that I ran away from home because of a blind date, I love someone but I’m not sure he likes me too all I can tell you is that I’m almost in the same situation as you are in”

Amelia sighed fixating her gaze at the plush white Lillies in the garden, they were so pure and innocent she somehow wished she was like them.

“Sometimes people who we truly love might seem near to us but they are really far away from our reach but I will encourage you to keep on trying to win the heart of the person you truly love” Amelia adviced.

“And what about you?” Abby inquired. “Will you give up on Liam?”

Amelia got up from her sitting position with folded arms. “No matter what you do you won’t be able to satisfy his big ego”

Abby chuckled, she stood up and held Amelia’s shoulders. “Trust me I know that infact I’ve witnessed it many times and guess what? I’m here to help”

“All the members of the Grayson’s are all proud and arrogant but you are the only nice one I’ve met so far”

Abby threw her hair resting on her shoulder to her back in a dramatic pose. “What can I say? I’m awesome!”

They both let out a hearty laughter..

Abby gave handed Amelia a blue box with a white ribbon on top of it. “Amelia this here is a dress wear it at sunset, I’ve invited a guy over don’t worry he is my friend”

“I don’t want to dress for another guy!”

Abby massaged her forehead slightly, “The thing we are trying to achieve is to make Liam jealous that he instantly blurts out his feelings for you”

Amelia glanced skeptically at Abby, she was here for her honeymoon with Liam how would she be with another guy?

Her thoughts wandered off to Liam’s phonecall today where he was ordering for a rose to be sent to a lady.

“I will do it! if he can send roses to other ladies then I can receive roses from other men as well”

Abby watched Amelia return to her room slamming the door a little more than normal. She squealed excitedly. “I should be a love guru” She concluded.

Amelia glanced at the clock, it was already past six in the evening she picked up the box and tore it open. “I just hope everything goes as planned, I haven’t even seen Liam since then”

There was a knock on the door and before she could respond the door opened and Abby’s head popped in. “You are not ready yet?”

“I will be dressed soon just give me few more minutes” Amelia pleaded.
