Amelia sighed, this wasn’t what she was expecting for today. “Geez mum, a condition?”

Brianna nodded her head, it pained her so much that such a beautiful pair were only bonded by a signed paper.

“Yes dear, if you both don’t work together you will never find the key but when you do find the key you’ll realize how useless the key is”

Liam and Amelia’s brows furrowed in confusion, Brianna was making them more confused.

“Why do I feel like all these is your fault?” Liam started facing Amelia.

“My fault? you blame me for every little thing that doesn’t go your way” Amelia murmured.

Liam turned to his mum “Mum how are we supposed to take a bath and put on our clothes with this on our hands?”

“Then don’t take a bath or change clothes until you get there”

“Wow mum! what an arrangement, you could have just handcuffed only him and given me the keys I promise I wouldn’t have thrown it into a sea” Amelia scorned sarcastically.

Brianna rolled her eyes and wheeled herself away from them, they still had a long day ahead of them to sought themselves out.

“Of course you are always at fault it was because of you that my mum brought this custom made handcuffs that has only one useless key!”

Amelia’s lips parted slightly “Mr arrogant don’t try to pin all the blame on me”

Amelia took a step forward to leave but Liam didn’t budge at all. *cough* “I want to go upstairs now maybe you’ve forgotten but we still have to get ready”

“Well I don’t feel like moving right now, you go ahead I will catch up with you”

Amelia cleared her throat darting her eyes everywhere except Liam’s direction.

“I want to pee”

Liam raised a brow at her “So? don’t expect me to follow you in there”

“You have no choice than to come along” Amelia said walking away giving Liam no other option other than to follow her.

Amelia narrowed her eyes at Liam when he was still looking at her.

“I thought you wanted to pee”

“Yeah! but I can’t do that if you keep staring at me that way!”

Liam sighed and turned his face away from her, his lips moved on its on own as he mumbled some words. “There’s really no need to hide your body from me I’ve seen everything about you”

Amelia sat on the toilet seat releasing all her liquids.

“Are you not done yet?”

“If you don’t keep quiet now I will change my initial idea and poo!”

Liam’s face scrunched at the sound of him having to stand there while she poo.

They both gave up the thought of taking a bath since it was impossible for them to take off their clothes with the cuff still holding them together.

Liam knelt in front of Brianna pulling Amelia down with him in the process, he still has second thoughts about leaving her alone in the house.

“Mum you know I still have this indescribable feeling of leaving you all alone”

Amelia suddenly had a brilliant thought, she almost forgot her mum was currently in the city. “Liam my mum can come over and stay with her I also don’t want to leave her all alone”

“That’s a good idea”

“I told you both that I will be fine on my own” Brianna argued.

“Trust me my mum is a fun person to be with and she is also a nurse so you have nothing to worry about”

Brianna sighed in defeat and nodded to their words.

“Bye mum”

“Bye I hope you give me some good news when you are back”

Amelia threw her bag at the guard behind her “Hold that!”

“Hurry up we don’t have all day we might miss our flight!” Amelia said impatiently pulling Liam into the car.

Liam entered the backseat with her before the car moved out of the premises.

“Big sis can’t I really come along?”

Liam glanced briefly at the little girl “You are not going anywhere if you say one more word I will throw you out of this moving car”

Amelia smacked his arm “She is just a kid Liam stop scolding her”

“A kid? she is a witch, can any normal kid do this?” he snorted raising their cuffed hands.

Chloe bowed her head, her big bro always scold her no matter what she asks.

“Don’t feel bad Chloe, and Liam your attitude towards her won’t change anything the reality still remains as it is, she is your sister no matter how hard you try to deny it”

“I don’t want to pretend that I like her when I don’t”

“I also don’t like your stepmom at all but I can’t hate Chloe all because she looks like her mum, it’s not her fault” Amelia argued.

Liam corked a brow at her “Then is it my fault?”

“Liam you are taking this the wrong way, the truth is that you haven’t been able to move on from your past, I know you had a rough childhood where you were deprived of your parents love and affection”

“But you were given another chance and yet you are running away from it, it won’t hurt you to love anyone just give it a try”

There was an awkward silence in the moving car, both of them were lost in their own thoughts. The car came to a stop after a while.

Amelia whined down the windshield when she spotted Louisa coming towards their car.

“Amy”

Amelia guided Chloe out of the car after a brief exchange of kisses.

A guard stepped forward with Chloe’s baggage handing over to Louisa.

“Bye big sis” Chloe waved her tiny fingers.
