MY ONE NIGHT STAND WITH MR ARROGANT

Amelia ignored Louisa’s interrogative question and helped herself in with her small luggage, “Amy I’m asking you a question” Louisa called out shutting the door, she walked towards her Amelia who was gulping down a bottle of water.

Amelia wiped her lips placing the bottle on the table before raising her head to face Louisa. “What exactly do you want to know? that arrogant brat just doesn’t know how to behave with women he should be lucky that I didn’t break one of his teeth”.

Louisa rolled her eyes pulling Amelia to sit “You know with the little knowledge I have about Liam he isn’t really that bad it’s just you who doesn’t understand him”.

Amelia gasped “Not you too! even my mum thinks that Liam is perfect but all I see is…. urghhhh!”.

“So tell me what did Mr Grayson do this time?” Louisa lowered her voice.

Amelia’s finger dug into the couch she was sitting on, remembering the words on that note seems to hurt her a little even more than the first day he said it to her face.

Louisa carefully listened to Amelia as she narrated the whole thing to her and sighed at the end, “I just can’t believe that Mr Grayson would do something like this”.

Amelia got up heading to the kitchen “I’m starving Lou, I didn’t have my mum’s breakfast because I was really upset”.

Nicholas scrunched his face in disgust on seeing Jane’s current state, he couldn’t believe that Liam would actually do this. His step brother really have a weird and unique way of punishing his enemies.

Jane glared at Nicholas “Your step brother has invited trouble upon himself” she gritted her teeth in anger.

Nicholas sneered at the foolish woman in front of him, he and his mum has been plotting against Liam for years now and it hasn’t yielded any fruit. “What makes you think that you can go up against Liam? you brought this upon yourself, I didn’t ask you to seduce him!”.

Jane got up gripping his shirt ” do you think this is a joke? I just got molested by your brother’s men”.

Nicholas pulled her hands off his shirt “Why are you pouring your frustration on me? I didn’t send you to his office the original plan from day one was for you to separate Amelia and Liam nothing more!”

Jane fell on her seat sobbing, she recalled how does animals had sex with her over and over again after they were done with her they dropped her in a dumpster.

“Now you will do exactly what I ask you to do and if you want to get rid of Liam then it’s all up to you”.

Nicholas smiled meaningfully staring at her reaction to his words..

Dylan resisted the urge to laugh as he listened to Liam’s plight. “So? just let her be she doesn’t worth your time forget about her” Dylan suggested, he knew exactly where he was driving at.

Liam raised a brow at Dylan’s words “If you are not willing to say anything reasonable you can leave”.

Dylan stood up to leave the office with a teasing grin on his lips, “You are really leaving?” Liam asked.

Dylan turned to him with a serious face “Look Liam I really suck when it comes to love matters just figure things out for yourself”.

Liam confusedly stared at him.

“What? don’t give me that look! if you like your wife what is the big deal in telling her?” Dylan said feigning anger.

“I never said that, she was upset because of the gift I gave her and I don’t know why”.

Dylan cocked a brow at him “Oh really? then I have the perfect solution for your problem”..

Liam returned home that night and was greeted with silence, his house was really silent. He hurriedly went into his room but she wasn’t in sight either.

His gaze furrowed when he found the vanity table where she normally keep all her makeup kits and skincare products was completely empty.

Liam was surprised and walked towards the wardrobe to find her own section of clothes empty. He pulled out his phone to call her but she was not taking any of his calls.

The servants and guards bowed their head as Liam interrogated them like criminals on Amelia’s sudden disappearance. “You were meant to guide her movement!”.

“Boss she threatened to slit her throat if we followed her”.

Liam massaged his temples, everyday he gets to hear her worst threats.

“She came back looking really upset and packed all her things”..

Amelia and Louisa were deeply engrossed in the movie they were watching at the theatre, but Amelia’s phone kept on ruining the show. “Just answer it” Louisa scolded since she couldn’t focus.

Amelia took a mouthful of popcorn and answered the call from Liam. “Sorry she can’t talk to you right now, she is resting on my bed”.

Louisa’s mouth dropped as she tried to snatch away the phone from Amelia. “Amy! that wasn’t right!”

Amelia turned off her phone and snapped at Louisa who was staring at her in awe, “I’m not the movie look ahead” Amelia replied putting on her dark shade.

Meanwhile on the other end Steven and James were laughing their guts out at Liam’s expression. Dylan nudged them to keep quiet but they ignored.

“What? I expected this from Dylan, not Liam, but seriously dude you and Dylan need to come to the fact that you are so poor when it comes to the matter of the heart” James jested.

Liam sent Dylan a threatening gaze, of all times why now to invite this two over. They joke around on everything which is really annoying.

“It’s seems she is really upset with you that she had to lean on someone else’s shoulder for comfort”. Steven added

Liam hurled his TV remote at Steven who quickly dodged it in time. James raised the bottle of wine with him. “less I forget we should make a toast!”

Dylan sneered at him “At this rate you are bound to make your dad’s cellar go dry”

Liam pondered hard on what could have made Amelia this upset, he took out the pink note he left for her and went through it because it seems the thing that made her leave was the words on the note he was holding.

He read it over and over again till it suddenly dawned on him. “darn it!” he cursed and stood up leaving the house.

Dylan stood up immediately so as the two “You both are not coming with us!”..

The cab pulled over in front of Louisa’s apartment as the two came out chatting ernestly about the movie they just watched.

Louisa pulled out the key from her purse and inserted it inside the keyhole only to find the door unlocked. The ladies stared at each other in shock and became alert.

They opened the door slowly and stepped in, Louisa took a baseball bat behind the door as they approached the living area, the lights were also on.
