Chapter 544 Appointment
Ethan was smoking when he received a call from Colin.
Ethan took out his cellphone from his pocket, glanced at the screen, and answered the phone. "Hello,
Colin."
Colin chuckled, "Are you in the hospital?"
Ethan answered honestly, "Yes."
"How is Ms. Rowan now?" Colin asked.
Ethan, "His foot injury is almost healed ."
Colin chuckled, "You know that's not what I'm asking."
Ethan held the cigarette between his lips, took a puff at it, and said, "New boyfriend."
Colin was surprised. "Huh?"
Ethan didn't want to talk about that and said in a low voice, "Have a good night. I will ask my assistant
to pick me up."
Colin was suspicious. "Are you sure that the boy is Ms. Rowan's boyfriend?"
Ethan said, "Sure."
Hearing Ethan's words, Colin raised his eyebrows and said nothing.
After hanging up the phone, Ethan nibbled the cigarette butt, looking at the night scene outside the
window.
At Fennth Community.
Colin leaned against the headboard with one knee bent, spinning his cellphone in his hand.
Faye said, "Is he really Violet's boyfriend?"
Colin said, "Ethan said so."
Faye laughed. "The player can't see most of the game."
Colin looked at her with a half smile. "Just like I had mistakenly thought you liked Hank."
Faye didn't refute, "Exactly."
The next day.
As Carlotta's wedding day was coming, Faye took a day off to help Carlotta choose a store and
accompany her to choose her wedding dress.
After breakfast, Robert came to pick up Colin.
Faye saw Colin off and kissed Colin on tiptoe when no one noticed them.
Colin broke into a smile and put his arms around Faye's waist.
Faye said, "Be careful on the road."
Colin said, "Choose a good store for your aunt. Choose an expensive one."
Faye smiled. "Got it."
Colin said in a low voice, "Call me if anything happens."
Watching Colin get in the car, Faye turned back and drove Carlotta out.
At the time, Colin was sitting in his car, and Robert looked at him in the rear-view mirror, "Mr. Farrell,
where are we going?"
Colin loosened his tie, saying, "Go to Matthew's new coffee shop."
Robert said, "Okay." He turned the car around and drove the car smoothly.
Colin picked up his cellphone and called Maxwell.
Maxwell's teasing voice sounded on the phone. "So early?"
Colin said in a serious voice, "Go to Matthew's new coffee shop."
Matthew said, "Okay."
After hanging up the phone, Colin didn't speak, keeping a sullen face.
Robert felt tense in the air and looked up at Colin in the rearview mirror.
When he saw Colin's expression, he quickly retracted his gaze.
When the car arrived at the coffee shop, Robert parked the car and got out of the car to open the door
for Colin.
Colin got out of the car and said, "Has the fish taken the bait?"
Robert answered, "Everything is going well."
Colin gave a smile and said, "Be patient. Don't give yourself away."
Robert answered, "You can rest assured."
Colin said, "Anyone who lost his cool will never be able to accomplish anything in his life."
Robert replied, "Got it."
Colin glanced at Robert and walked towards a room.
The coffee house was called "Moment of Leisure", which was very consistent with his character.
Matthew happened to be in the shop.
The manager led Colin into a room and reported to Matthew.
Not long after, Matthew pushed the door open when Colin was sitting and drinking coffee. This content © Nôv/elDr(a)m/a.Org.
Matthew wore a pink shirt and suit pants, looking so dissolute, but there was a string of rosary beads
around his wrist.
Matthew walked over to Colin and sat down. Colin glanced at the beads around his wrist and thought of
Matthew. "When did you guys start having the belief?"
Matthew was curious. "Who else do you mean?"
Colin picked up the coffee cup in front of him and took a sip. "Maxwell."
Matthew said, "Oh, our beads are different."
Colin asked, "What's the difference?"
Matthew said, "Our religious beliefs are different."
Colin sneered, "Then what's your belief?"
Matthew poured himself a cup of coffee and drank slowly, "Catholicism."
Colin joked, "Have you changed to a vegetarian diet?"
Matthew said, "That's not the point. The point is to abstain from sex."
Colin laughed, "Drop the act."
Matthew tutted and said, "You know me. I do this just because of my parents. If they still force me to
get married, I will be a monk."
Colin fiddled with the cup in his hand, "Stop joking around. How can you be a loyal Catholic?"
When Matthew was going to refute, there was a knock on the door. Maxwell pushed the door open and
entered.
