Chapter 520 The Last Meeting
Hearing his words, Faye blinked her drooping eyes.
Colin suddenly smiled, let go of her jaw, and put his hands around her waist, asking "Would you like to
take a wedding photo?"
Faye grinned in silence.
Colin smiled, "Honey, I want to take one. Can you go with me?"
Faye's grin became bigger.
The next week, Colin recuperated at home, while Faye went to work on time.
Recently, the PR department had been relatively peaceful because there was nothing tricky. The only
sensational thing was that a popular artist had officially announced his marriage.
A lot of his fans were disappointed. Some loyal fans had even become his anti-fans and dug out a lot of
dirt on him. However, there was no substantive evidence but some blurry video screenshots. It was like
making up stories based on pictures with too much personal subjective speculation.
Faye flipped through a document to be signed in her office chair, while Galen reported what had
happened recently in front of her.
When talking about the artist, Galen curled her lips and said, "I find those who supported and are
trampling him are the same group of people."
Faye smiled lightly, "Is there any of his commercial contracts terminated?"
Galen replied, "Yes, two TV advertising and a movie."
Faye said, "The situation is not serious."
Galen nodded, "Yes, so I didn't inform you."
Then, she added, "Beckham is a good person who cares about others' feelings in the crew and in
private. After he announced his marriage, most people who curse and trample him are his old fans.
Few people in the entertainment industry have thrown mud on him."
Faye signed the document with her head down and said, "It proved the importance of being a good
person."
Galen suppressed her laughter and said, "This incident reminded me of an artist from Breanna Media.
When he got in trouble, everyone took the opportunity to kick him."
Faye smiled in silence. She had never talked about such topics with colleagues. It was OK for her
subordinates to make jokes about artists. But if she made any comment, it would be spread out and
cause trouble. Galen had worked with Faye for a long time. Seeing her keep silent, Galen guessed the
reason and shut her mouth up.
Faye handed her the signed document and said, "Go to do the other work."
Galen took it over and said, "OK."
Then, she walked outward with the document in her arms. After taking a few steps, she suddenly
thought of something, so she turned her head to look at Faye and said, "Ms. Nash, don't forget about
the awards ceremony of the Film Festival next week."
Faye smiled, "Okay, thanks."
Watching her leave, Faye got up to fetch herself a glass of water, took two sips in front of the water
dispenser, took out her phone, and sent a message to Colin, asking, "Are you up yet?"
Colin responded with a funny sticker, which was a dancing dog.
Faye said, "Remember to have breakfast."
Colin asked, "Honey, when are you returning home?"
Faye replied, "I just started to work."
Colin asked, "Do you need me to pick you up when you get off work?"
Faye couldn't help laughing and answered, "No, thanks. I'll drive back by myself."
Colin said, "Actually, I think I can go to the company to work in my current condition."
Faye asked, "Mr. Farrell, do you want to come to the company in a nightgown?"
Colin was speechless.
After chatting with him for a while, Faye put the phone in her pocket with a smile and then walked to
her desk with the water glass in her hand. After taking two steps, the phone in her pocket vibrated. She
stopped walking and took out her phone, glanced down, and found it was a message from Lance,
saying, "Martha is in Cocanel now, and she wants to see you."
Faye raised her eyebrows lightly and asked, "Where is she?"
Lance answered, "Room 603, Beacon Hotel."
Faye replied, "Got it."
Lance said, "I'll let Andy go with you."
Faye had intended to refuse, but she did not want Lance to worry about her, so she replied after
hesitation, "OK."
Putting away the phone again, Faye sat down on the chair behind the desk. After a while, she picked
up the car keys and walked out.
The Beacon Hotel was less than half an hour's drive from Farrell Media. So, Martha must have chosen
to stay in this hotel on purpose.
Half an hour later, Faye stood outside Room 603 on the sixth floor of the Beacon Hotel, raised her
hand, and knocked on the door.
Soon, Martha opened the door in a plain long dress.
Seeing Faye, Martha didn't show the slightest surprise. The corners of her lips twitched before she
forced a smile and said, "Faye, there you are."
Faye replied lightly, "Mom." Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.
Hearing this, Martha smiled bitterly, "I did not expect you to still be willing to call me mom."
Faye kept expressionless in silence.
Seeing this, Martha turned her body to the side and said, "Come in."
Hearing this, Faye stepped into the room.
Martha was living in a standard queen room. The room was not big, and Faye could see everything at a
glance.
As soon as she entered the door, there was a shoe cabinet on her left and a bathroom on her right.
After taking a few steps in, she saw a queen-sized bed and a TV cabinet. And there was a round coffee
table and two rattan chairs at the end.
Martha said, "Please take a seat."
Faye nodded, walked to a rattan chair, and sat down.
Martha grabbed a bottle of mineral water, unscrewed it, handed it to her, pursed her lips, and said, "I'm
sorry I don't have other drinks here."
After Faye took it over, she didn't drink it but put it on the coffee table. Then she looked up at Martha
and said, "Let's get down to business. Why do you want to meet me?"
Martha looked down at her, clenched her fists on her sides, and said, "Don't worry, I won't go to meet
Colin. Can you help me meet Blaine one last time?"
