Seeing that, Kane figured he should stop the engine and got out.

It was the first time he and his father-in-law officially met since there was no wedding ceremony.

Besides, Rufus was already jailed because of his bankruptcy prior to that.

They could not have met back then, let alone during the five years Amora went missing.

She actually felt like laughing out loud but quickly went over to help him ease up as she happily took both of them by the arm.

"Alright now.Let's quit standing here and head back.Kane's made reservations tonight to celebrate your return, Dad.We need to wash up and head over to the hotel."

He knew that Amora intentionally coined his release as a celebration.

After that, the lot got in the car and headed back.

Both the Ronin and the Blackwoods were thrilled to receive such great news after the storm they just went through that night.

It was especially so for Jackson and his wife.

They went to visit as soon as they received the news about Rufus' release.

Amora was delighted to see them and eventually decided to leave the space to the three of them as she did not know what else she could do.

So she took Kane outside with her.

Amora suddenly said when she saw their elongated shadows under the street light.
