Mr. You, Please Dote On Me

Chapter 22: I Think It’s Great

With a serious smile on his face, You Ze looked obediently at his grandmother who was talking passionately, nodded now and then in agreement, and turned a deaf ear to Shiyao’s hint.

“Come on!”

Irritated by You Ze’s indifferent face, Shiyao pinched his thigh, her face full of anger. But these, in Jiang Fengyi’s view, were totally interaction between them.

“That’s ok then?”

Shiyao’s mother looked You Ze over with growing pleasure, more satisfied with this son-in-law-to-be than her own daughter!

“Mom, what are you talking about?”

Shiyao looked anxiously at her mother, her eager eyes scowling at You Ze.

“Dear, be a brave grown-up. I think A’ze is nice. You should see how lucky you are.”

Her mother glanced accusingly at Shiyao, thinking that she could finally make her wish of her daughter marrying well come true. All content is © N0velDrama.Org.

Shiyao almost fainted when feeling her kind tone to You Ze!

Looking at the restless Shiyao, You Ze felt it more interesting.

“Nana, Yaoyao and I have just known each other. Wouldn’t it be a little too fast to get married without love?”

You Ze held Shiyao’s little hand on his thigh and tried to hold back the pain.

‘This girl is never gonna stop it. My legs must have been pinched by her all over.’

“Ah, yes!”

Shiyao nodded like chicken pecking rice.

“That’s too fast.”

She knew You Ze wouldn’t sit on his hands. How could such a handsome and rich man fall for her so easily?

“But we can develop feelings after we get marriage.”

You Ze put Shiyao’s fist back on her laps and leaned aside consciously.

“Puff-”

The juice Shiyao had just poured into her mouth all sprayed on You Ze’s face.

“A’ze!”

“NO WAY!” Shiyao cried out, forgetting herself in a mess.

“Jesus! You are such a naughty girl! Come on, wipe it off.”

Her mother hurried to You Ze, her sharp eyes unhappily staring Shiyao into uneasiness.

You Ze took the tissue Shiyao’s mother handed him and wiped his face with disgust.

“Mom, I mean it!”

Shiyao plopped the glass on the table, staring resentfully at You Ze who was now wearing an innocent look.

Her rejection immediately hurt Jiang Fengyi.

“Alas! Poor me, I suffered so much to bring my grandson up, but he can’t get a wife. Finally he flipped, but the girl has no feeling for him.”

Jiang Fengyi put down chopsticks, covered her face with her hands and cried bitterly.

Shiyao looked blankly at the weeping old woman, and didn’t know what to say.

“Granny, it’s not like that. You misunderstood it.”

Shiyao immediately got up and patted Jiang Fengyi on the back, trying to calm her.

“So, what is it exactly? Why is it so difficult for me to have a grandchild?”

Watching Jiang Fengyi beating her breast like a wailing child, Shiyao was overwhelmed and didn’t know where to start.

You Ze looked with interest at the flustered Shiyao, trying hard not to laugh. His grandmother’s tricks were, to him, completely common.

On second thought that acting shouldn’t be too theatrical, You Ze cleared his throat and pretended to be embarrassed.

“Granny, please don’t cry.”

“Yeah, Aunt Jiang, please stop crying, it’s no good for your health. Come to please granny, little girl.”

She glared at Shiyao, annoyed that her daughter was such a trouble maker.

The chaotic scene was giving Shiyao a headache.

“Fine, I agree!”

You Ze’s bright eyes flashed. He looked at helpless Shiyao, a strange emotion rising from his heart.

This girl was far more interesting than he expected.

“Really? You said yes?”

Jiang Fengyi quickly took on a beaming face, smiling at Shiyao.

“Yes, I do.”

Shiyao glanced at You Ze out of the corners of her eyes, full of embarrassment.

Now she was forced to marry the big boss, how should she face her colleagues!

“Good. Let’s….”

Jiang Fengyi tightly clasped Shiyao’s soft hands, fainted from excitement before finishing her words.

“Granny!”

You Ze was quick-sighted that the time he found something was wrong with his grandmother, he promptly carried her in arms and rushed out of the room, leaving Shiyao froze still.

“I told you granny is in poor health. Why are you so childish to make her angry?” Shiyao’s mother reached out her finger and poked Shiyao’s head, and then hurriedly followed.

Shiyao stomped her foot in chagrin, and followed out with her purse.

……

In the corridor of the hospital, Jiang Fengyi was being examined by a doctor.

Shiyao stood quietly a few steps away from You Ze, not daring to make a sound.

She kicked herself at the sight of You Ze’s dark face.

She was definitely going to be fired for CEO’s grandmother was so pissed off and taken to hospital!

“If I had known this, I might as well have married him. Being the boss’s wife is better than being out of work,” Shiyao thought.
