Mr. Neal, Mrs. Neal’s Gone With The Money

Chapter 410

Chapter 410

A crease formed instantly between Cynthia’s brows. “Hold them back. I will be there shortly.”

“Understood!”

Upon hanging up, Cynthia sent Moe a quick message explaining, she had to attend to something urgent. She then got in her car and headed toward the place where Ellora resided.

Meanwhile, at Ellora’s location.

After having breakfast, she was enjoying a walk when she noticed a large group heading toward her. However, considering the distance, she thought nothing of it, assuming it was probably someone’s bodyguard out for a morning run. After all, the area where she lived was Nexuria’s infamous luxury villa district.

Ten minutes later, just as she was about to enter the house after her walk and enjoy some piano music, she saw people approaching. It was then that she recognized who the visitors were.

Chyler and his entourage attempted to force their way in, but the bodyguards Cynthia had arranged for Ellora stopped them in their tracks. The head bodyguard immediately dialed Cynthia’s number.

“Get out of my way.” Chyler glared at the man standing before him, a cold aura emanating from him.

The bodyguard stood firm. “The lady has made it clear: you cannot enter.”

“My wife is in there. Why can’t I go in? Should I call the police to settle this?” Chyler retorted confidently.

Despite his threats, the bodyguard remained unyielding. Chyler immediately demanded, “Call the police!”

“Wait!” Ellora decided to step in.

She was well aware that once Chyler called the police, they would treat this as a domestic dispute. This could make certain matters difficult to handle. Belongs to NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.

Dressed in autumn attire that hid her pregnancy, she stood at the entrance and asked, “What are you here for?”

“To take you home,” Chyler responded simply.

“Is that so?”

“Come home with me.”

“To do what? To force another miscarriage?” Ellora’s tone toward Chyler was icy and indifferent.

Chyler froze momentarily.

He did not enter, choosing to stand at the entrance, his voice heavy with complicated emotions. “I know everything now.”

Ellora’s brow furrowed slightly. She did not quite understand what he meant.

“I know this child is mine. I also know… Talia led to me.” When Chyler discovered this information, it felt like a blow to his

head.

“And?” Ellora’s voice was soft, but a sour feeling invaded her nose at his revelation.

“Come back with me, Ellora. I’ll make it up to you. I swear, I’ll never wrong you again from this day forward,” Chyler looked at her, his eyes reddening, deeply regretting his past actions.

He was aware of his past transgressions and knew he had chilled Ellora’s heart, but he could not live without her. The time she had been gue had been anything but happy for him.

“Chyler, what do you take me for? Do you think I still care about your compensation?” Ellora’s heart ached slightly.

A series of unfortunate misunderstandings had forced them together. She had once felt affection for him, perhaps even loved him. However, those feelings shattered after his harsh, cutting words.

“Do you think I am oblivious to your infidelity during our marriage?” The thought of those incidents still saddened Ellora. She was an emotional person, incapable of forgetting these incidents as freely as Cynthia could.

She hated Chyler, but she had to admit that, at her very care, his words still managed to stir emotions within her.

Chyler tried to defend himself, “I didn’t cheat on you. I’ve never touched anyone but you.”

Ellora chuckled lightly. All those nights, she had smelled another woman’s perfume on him, and seen lipstick marks left by other women. Did he think she was a fool?
