Chapter 1951
Chapter 1951
Chapter 1951 Isabel simply could not take her eyes off Caprice.
It came to a point where Caprice was beginning to feel embarrassed having been stared at for so long. Her face glowed red as she dodged away from Isabel's pointed stare. "Don't look at me like that."
“Haha! Alright." Isabel chuckled and stifled the urge to keep staring. She suddenly gestured at the window. “Caprice, stand over there by the window. Let me take a picture of you.’
"Why do you want to take my picture?"
“| don’t have any pictures of you on my phone, so let me have a nice picture of you at least," Isabel said without giving away her true intentions.
Caprice did not look too much into it. She obliged and stood next to the window as she was told, posing as Isabel instructed.Têxt © NôvelDrama.Org.
After a while, when Isabel was finally satisfied with the pictures, so she turned to Caprice again. "Why don't you take a short break? | need to use the bathroom, and we will leave in about an hour."
"Alright." Isabel went to the bathroom. Caprice stepped out of the dressing area and went to the living room.
After a while, Isabel’s assistant approached her with some snacks and fresh fruit. Caprice thanked her with a smile and began snacking.
Meanwhile, inside the bathroom, Isabel was texting Liam on her phone. She sent two pictures of Caprice to Liam, followed by a text. ‘What do you think? Does she look good dressed like this?" The pictures could easily be used as magazine covers without needing any sort of editing.
There was a reason Isabel sent these pictures to Liam. She was going to make him regret not tagging long tonight. He missed out on the chance of getting to see Caprice dressed up in a stunning dress, looking her best.
In Carter Tech City, Liam was in the middle of a serious meeting.
The others were talking while he was seated at the head of the table with a stoic look on his face, attentively listening to the other's input.
His phone was muted. The display lit up briefly when he received a text from Isabel.
Upon noticing that it was only Isabel texting him, he paid no mind to it and directed his attention back to the meeting. An hour passed in the blink of an eye.
The sun was about to set when Caprice and Isabel left the apartment.
The assistant did not go with them. The girls went to the location where the dinner party was held. It was a luxurious manor villa located in the suburbs.
The party took place outdoors on a well-maintained lawn illuminated with light installation. The decoration was nothing short of stately, and every decoration piece was expensive and exquisite. It was the definition of luxury, a playground for the rich.
When Caprice got out of the car with Isabel, the dazzling lights almost blinded her.
She squinted as she followed Isabel onto the red carpet leading to the entrance of the venue.
Immediately after they stepped on the red carpet, she heard people exclaiming, "Look, that’s Isabel Ross!" Several ladies gestured at Isabel and commented, "Isn't she just an actress? Why is she here?"
“Who knows? Maybe she managed to land a rich patron who decided to bring her here to show her around." “How is that possible? Do you see anyone like that accompanying her?"
"No, but there is that girl over there. She’s very beautiful."
"| don’t think I’ve seen her before. It doesn't look like she's from the entertainment industry. Do you know her?" ‘| don't. She's probably one of Isabel's close friends."
"What did she bring her here for?’
“Heh, | think | might know why. Considering everyone attending this party tonight is the richest men from different sectors of the city, they're probably here for a market survey. If | had to guess, these girls are hoping to find such rich men to sink their claws in and get married to."
"Hahaha..."
