Chapter-8 - SACRIFICED
Her body became taut as she felt deserted and discarded. Nobody cared about her, they didn't even ask Him the purpose of why He wanted her. They just abandoned her like a deer is passed on from one lion to another. The sudden urge to defy them knocked her mind, she wanted to scream at both the controlling men. She wanted to tell her will. She wanted to deny them. Maybe, Maybe she could just disagree with their decision and stand for herself. "I don't want to...." She whispered under her breath without giving much thought.
"What did you say?" Alpha Ralph asked her, the anger and hatred filled his eyes. If not for the King's presence there, he would surely have killed her with his own hands. Maybe He was just finding a chance to punish her after all she caused his son's death.
"I...I don't want to leave my pack.. Please don't do this to me, Alpha." She couldn't help but beg while looking down at the shimmering material on her gown not daring to look at any of them.
Alpha Ralph fumed and was about to give her harsh retort when she felt the ripple of cold air swept past around her, giving her goosebumps in fear. She looked up to see the dark lord stood in front of her with his rigorous face. He was in front of her in a blink. Her breath halted with his lethal and dominating aura. His expressions were nonchalant but she could see the dark storm swirling in his smoldering eyes turning into black and white waves. She gasped in horror. What is He?
She had witnessed His red eyes before but now even white orbs.
She instinctively stepped back but in a second, He slammed her against the wall.
She cried out in pain and fear, closing her eyes tightly which He didn't like a bit. He wanted to see her Emerald eyes, those eyes which bewitched Him at first sight.
"Open your eyes, Angel." He whispered with his silky smooth voice. But she shook her head, she was dreading to see those eyes killing her soul mercilessly. It's better to not look at his perfect face so she kept them close.
Lyceon twisted his neck and nuzzled her neck before inhaling her sweet scent. The unique scent of her mix of honey and cocoa had captured his Dark wolf in tight strings to His dismay.
His hand slid around her waist before yanking her close to his muscular body and whispering in her ear,
"Do you want me to punish you?"
Allison was a shaking and sweating mess. She froze in his hold.
"Trust me, I have wanted to do that since I set my eyes on you." His husky voice seemed like a promising warning to her and she fluttered her eyes open.
His dark eyes and devilish side smirk didn't seem sincere to her at all. But from the close she dared to see his face clearly, that dark spot was actually a tattoo which was a black snake. Half of it was drawn on his temple area and the other half started from the under corner of his left eye, running across his left cheek, sinking to his ear. She could tell that under that tattoo was the deep scar which was perfectly hidden by the art. He looked scary with that thing, like a demon. Cruel Damon.
Lyceon was observing her eyes and examining her thoughts keenly. He knew exactly what she was doing. Besides having the Lycans powers, He was too intelligent to read the people like a book. And this girl was a human so it's not difficult to read her.
His thumb touched her lower plum lip and He grazed the soft skin under the pad of his thumb.
"Now now! you are being a good girl, Angel." He rasped. Allison just wanted to scribble his enthralling face with her claws. But she was helpless. She wanted to run away from this man, her nightmare.
"Did you realise that you were just sacrificed by your dear Alpha?" Lyceon asserted taunting her and the cunning Alpha as well who thinned his lips not wishing to go against the Dark Lord.
"You will come to my place with me, Allison Griffin? Willingly or unwillingly. And If you dare to disobey me, I will gaily give you the type of extinction you want." He stated before releasing her with a jerk. Those dark eyes turned back to its usual form, cold, stiff and piercing.
"You will do as I say, Angel. Right! Tell your Alpha." He said fondly to her like she was a child. She was panting hard like she had run the marathon but nodded slowly in terror. Death!
No, she doesn't want to die. She wanted to find her brother. She had trust in her goddess that he was still alive.

If to meet him, she had to sacrifice herself to this monster then she would take the risk. Anyways, Her life was already a mess. Nobody cared about her here and it will be the same in His kingdom so why care?
She had chosen her fate because she had no choice. She chose the Dark fate, which led her to the Dark walker's world.
"Go back to the party and prepare your farewell afterwards, you are dismissed now."
As soon as Alpha Ralph dismissed Allison she was attacked by Nora outside in the hall.Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.
"Oh Ali, are you okay?" Nora's eyes rolled all over her body to check any kind of damage. She could smell the fear and despair from Allison's body.
"Is that even a question to ask the person who just got sacrificed for saving the war in between two packs?" Allison asked, smiling at her friend sadly who closed her eyes nodding. Nora was helpless and ashamed for not helping her friend. "Iam sorry, Ali. I just can't lose you." She hugged her friend tightly, thinking of a way to stop this deal.
"It's not your fault, Nora. I guess it was my destiny. Who knows I could search for Mason around." Allison said raising the new hope around herself, not coping up with the situation in which she was. Nora sighed not knowing how to answer her friend. She herself was not sure if Mason was alive or not.
"Alpha ordered me to get you back to the ballroom." She said before pulling Allison inside the same room where she was laid unconscious. Nora did her touch-up. Allison felt like she was decorated like a scapegoat to present herself for sacrifice.
