Chapter 6 Meeting Troy's Girlfriend
Chapter 6 Meeting Troy's Girlfriend
Vivian could not sleep that night. She kept on turning and tossing and sometimes, she would just stare
at her empty ceiling. She couldn't handle well her mother's revelation about her past.
It was so painful that her mother's past scarred her heart. It left a mark. If only her grandfather favored
the marriage of her mother and her lover before, then they would not be in that situation. Her mother
would still be living happily with the man she truly loves and Violet would have so many younger
brothers and sisters and she wouldn't be stuck with her.
But then again, she wouldn't even be alive if it wasn't for the turn of events.
One question that bothers her is that related to Violet. Was her sister aware that the man she was
calling father all her life weren't actually his father. Is that the reason why Violet was so defiant of him
and when asked to return, her sister declined with fear that their father might hurt her and the
gardener's son.
The next morning, Vivian had to cover up a fair amount of dark circles under her eyes. She was up all
night with a lot of questions in her mind. She had been the most carefree among their family that's why
she couldn't think of any reason on how to patch her family up. This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.
Well aside from the wedding ofcourse.
After a well thinking through, Vivian had decided to pursue with the wedding. It's her only hope to
gather her family together. Her father might also forgive Violet for her sake and her mother wouldn't be
so lonely anymore.
She's not marrying the man for love, she was marrying him for convenience.
''Good Morning, Daddy.'' She greeted her father who was busy reading the morning newspaper while
eating breakfast. ''Are you going out of the country this week?''
Her father puts down the newspaper and smiled at her.
''Yes, I'll be in Japan for a week but just in time to attend your wedding.'' Her father answered. ''Do you
have something you want?''
Vivian shook her head in response. ''I will be visiting Troy this morning in his office.'' She told her father.
''That's good daughter. You'll have plenty of time to get to know each other.'' Her father nodded in
affirmation. Then they eat their breakfast in silence.
Vivian wanted to ask her father about Violet. She wanted to know if her father's anger to her sister
vanished already so Violet could return to their house and her mother would not worry so much.
Vivian took a sigh then looked at her father.
''Daddy. . . Mom's health is failing rapidly.'' She started, and as if on cue, her father stopped and puts
down his spoon then looked at her. ''Mom wanted to see Violet so bad,''
''I don't want to talk about it.'' Vivian's father said sternly.
She almost flinched but she muster her courage.
''Violet is still your daughter.'' She told her father. He still doesn't know that she already discovered the
secret. Vivian wanted her sister back.
Her father felt silent for a while then looked at her. His gaze as cold as ice. ''Violet is no longer my
daughter the moment she disobeyed me.'' Her father answered and finishes his meal quietly.
Vivian felt her hope drained her body.
-
After breakfast, Vivian took a quick shower and dolled herself up. She chose a really cute pink dress
partnered with a red stiletto. Her wavy hair let loose. She even wore an expensive pearl statement
piece that her parents gave her for her Eighteenth birthday.
She did not notify Troy Callahan of her visit as she wanted to surprise him.
When Vivian arrived at Callahan Co. she was greeted by a guard. He opened the door for her. Vivian
hopped off the car elegantly and some passerby took notice of her and stopped on their tracks.
Well, who wouldn't take a second glance at her. Vivian's beauty's exceptional. She was always praised
by her tiny face and huge eyes. She looks so innocent and calm, that her teachers nicknamed her
'Angel' due to her angelic features. But do not be fooled by her face, she might be a beauty but her soul
got thorns.
''Good morning Ms. Carter,'' One of Troy's secretary greeted her before she even opened Troy's office.
She looked at the girl and raised an eyebrow at her. ''Do you have an appointment with Mr. Callahan?''
Vivian scoffs at the girl. ''I don't need an appointment to see my fiancee.'' She said, the secretary felt
intimidated and quickly bowed her head to apologize.
''Apologies Ms. Carter, but Mr. Callahan is out in a conference meeting as of the moment. Would you
like me to relay a message to him that you visited?''
Vivian sighed. All her effort will be wasted.
''No need,'' She told the secretary. ''I will just wait for him inside.''
The girl was about to stop her when she already opened the door. Vivian was shock beyond compare
when she saw a woman sitting on the leather sofa.
That woman was wearing a skimpy dress and has a lot of make up on. She stood up quickly when she
saw Vivian.
Vivian checked the woman from head to toe and smirked as she confirmed that she's nothing but a
cheap bitch. From the womans clothes to her shoes, it was all imitations. Couldn't even afford a single
authentic brand.
''Who are you and what are you doing in Troy's office?'' Vivian demanded.
The woman smirked at her and offered her hand but Vivian dared not to accept it. There might be some
kind of germs lingering in her filthy hand.
Feeling embarrassed, the woman puts down her hand.
''You must be Vivian,'' The woman said, ''I am Louise, Troy's girlfriend.''
Shock couldn't describe how Vivian felt when found out that the woman was Troy's girlfriend. That's
why Troy has been cold to her, he's the one who do not want to marry her as he is in love with
someone else!
That jerk!
And he has the audacity to kiss her! Vivian felt her anger slowly piling up. And right now, in front of her,
Troy's beloved girlfriend, Vivian thought of using her to get back to that man.
Now's her opportunity.
''So you are the girlfriend.'' Vivian started and folded her arms in front of her chest, ''No wonder he was
so stiff when we kissed.''
Taken aback, the woman- Louise, gasped. ''W-what? Who are you?''
Vivian smirked when she saw how scared the woman in front of her was.
''Oh I forgot to introduce myself.'' Vivian started and elegantly fixes her hair back, ''I am Troy Callahan's
fiancé.''
