Chapter 22 William Came to the Set
Chapter 22 William Came to the Set
Half an hour later, Sam put down his phone to act the intimate scene with Sheila with a fake smile, as if
he was going to be sentenced to death.
Fortunately, this time, Sheila did not make any more mischief, allowing the scene to be shot smoothly.
"Eva, your phone just rang," Gemma called Eva who had just come down.
Because Eva had quarreled with Renee, the company never assigned her an assistant. She ran back
and forth between the film set and Rosenfeld Hill all by herself. When filming, she casually threw her
mobile phone in the lounge.
Sheila had brought four assistants to the crew and had two people serve her even to drink a glass of
water. This was simply a world of difference.
"Who is it?" Eva asked casually.
"There's no note. Take a look and see if you know him. Forget it if you don't recognize it. In case it's a
scam." Gemma said.
"Thank you." Eva smiled at her. This screenwriter had really helped her too much.
Eva took her phone and looked at it. Wasn't this Caleb's number? Why was he calling now?
She didn't dare to delay and quickly called back.
"Hello?" Eva asked tentatively.
There was no sound on the other end of the line.
"Mr. Livingstone?" Eva asked again.
William shook his head on the other end of the line, but Eva could not see it.
"It's strange. Why didn't you say anything when you called?" Eva was a little suspicious. Was someone
playing a prank with Caleb's phone? But who would dare take Caleb's phone?
Eva immediately dismissed this bold conjecture.
"Liam?" Eva asked.
There was still a shallow breath on the other end of the line, and there was no sound.
"Good boy. Why did you call me? I will be back in four hours." Eva immediately confirmed that it was
William who took Caleb's phone and called her.
"Did you read a book today? I will check it when I go back."
Eva talked on the phone for a long time. There was no sound on the other end of the line, but Eva
knew that William had been listening carefully.
"Well, I am going to film. Just be a good boy." When Eva saw the assistant director coming over to call
for them, so she quickly explained to William and hung up the phone.
The scene that was about to be filmed was a major plot of Eva. She had to fight with the general that
Adam played in a martial arts competition, and then she accidentally fell and was saved by the general.
The two had been acting so seriously that they didn't notice what happened among the crowd around
them.
The first to react was the assistant director next to Mel. When he saw Caleb walk over with the child in
his arms, he raised his hand and wiped his eyes, fearing that he had misread them.
"Mr. Livingstone, what brings you here?" The assistant director went over to greet him in a fawning
manner.
Mel also quickly discovered that Caleb had come, but the two people in the camera just acted
wonderfully at the time. He did not look away from the monitor but waved his hand to let his assistant
entertain Caleb.
"I came for a visit." Caleb replied concisely.
The assistant director was a smart person. He immediately thought of the fact that Sam and Adam
were Luxstar's actors. Presumably, Caleb came to visit these two people. However, it was strange that
the one who came was not Nathan, the actual person in charge of Luxstar, but Caleb, president of
Lumenstone Group.
Perhaps it was because he valued Mr. Fan?
William looked seriously at Eva on the monitor. He felt that she was a little familiar but also a little
strange. On the other hand, looking at the two who were affectionate, Caleb's eyes turned grim, and his
whole body exuded a strong aura.
"Cut! We've got it." Mel shouted.
Only then did he get up and greet Caleb.
Caleb nodded lightly, not saying a word.
Adam looked at his uncle's dark face and did not dare to go forward. He took advantage of the staff to
organize the props and ran away with a whoosh.
When Eva saw William, a trace of surprise flashed in her eyes. At this time, Mel called her over, and
Eva quickly ran over.
"Mr. Livingstone, this is the second female lead of this drama, Eva Sommers." Mel introduced, "Eva,
this is the president of Lumenstone, Mr. Caleb Livingstone."
"Yes." Caleb still nodded nonchalantly, but his eyes were fixed on Eva.
William watched as Eva came over and looked curiously at her dress which was different from the
others. Because this was the scene of a martial arts competition, Eva's costume was a black outfit that
perfectly outlined her figure, making her look as stunning as a Valkyrie.
"Hello, Mr. Livingstone." Eva thought for a second and finally decided to pretend that she did not know
him.
Eva, who was disguised very well, was embarrassed by William in the next second.
Because William was very familiar with Eva, he reached out to her and asked her to hug him. After Eva
picked her up, William, who had originally a grumpy face, immediately smiled and kissed Eva's face.
"Mr. Livingstone, do you and Eva know each other?"
"I don't know him!" Eva quickly denied. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.
"Then you..." Mel looked at William, who was in her arms, and obviously did not believe what Eva said.
"I like children." Eva lied through her teeth. Fortunately, Sam helped her out.
Sam also braced himself and came to greet Caleb. He had only seen Caleb once, and it was when he
was reprimanding Nathan. He looked too intimidating. Even Sam, who had acted as an overbearing
president before, could not compare to Caleb's domineering aura.
Sheila was not to be outdone. She wanted to curry favor with Caleb and let the makeup artist fix her
makeup before coming over.
While everyone greeted Caleb and tried to curry favor with him, Eva held William and left. William was
full of curiosity about everything on the set, and Eva explained to him very patiently.
"Hello, Mr. Livingstone. I am Sheila Sommers. We have met before." Sheila said delicately.
Caleb glanced in the direction of Eva, but did not answer Sheila's words and just ignored her.
"Mr. Livingstone, Brody said last time that he would treat you to a meal. I wonder if you can give us the
chance?" Sheila said shamelessly.
The people around them really thought that Sheila and Caleb knew each other. After all, Sheila's
fiancé, Brody, was also in the upper class.
"You are?" Caleb finally withdrew his gaze and asked casually.
"Pfff." Melissa directly laughed out loud.
Sheila, who originally wanted to pretend to know him, did not expect that he would directly embarrass
her. This scene was simply amazing!
Because of what happened in the private room last time, Melissa and Sheila fought each other when
they met, and they could not stand each other to have a good time.
Sheila's small face flushed red, and tears welled up in her eyes.
Looking at her current state, Mel felt that it should be very convenient for her to act in a crying scene,
so he directly made the decision.
"Sheila, get ready to film the scene of you and Sam parting." After saying that, Mel looked at Caleb
again and hesitated to speak.
