Chapter 7: I Can Walk by Myself
Chapter 7: I Can Walk by Myself
Chow's lips curled up mockingly as he finally retreated his foot.
Vivian sighed softly in relief. But for some reason, she felt a vague sense of emptiness in her heart.
She hated that feeling. Was she really as shameless as he said she was?
Why would she even long for his touch under such circumstances?
"Stay here, Celine. I'll send her back. You can't just bring her up like this because she's terribly afraid of
the storm," said Chow.
He got up and walked towards Vivian, bending down to lift her up.
Vivian was startled. She quickly wrapped her arms around his neck and looked at him with her
panicked, watery eyes.
Celine's hand suspended awkwardly in the air. After a while, she clenched her fists and retracted her
hand. "In that case, remember to tell Aunt Blaine to take good care of her. I'll be waiting for you down
here."
"Alright," replied Chow, before leaving with Vivian in his arms.
Celine watched their retreating figures, clenching her fists tightly under her sleeves.
Did Chow really hate Vivian as much as he said he did? It certainly didn't look like it, from what she
could see.
As soon as they left Celine's field of vision, the smile on Chow's face disappeared instantly.
He lowered his head and silently stared into Vivian's eyes.
He then flipped her in his arms and changed her position so that she was now facing him instead, with
her legs around his waist.
He then held her tightly against his chest
Vivian gasped and automatically put her hands between the two of them. "No," she protested weakly.
Chow frowned and gave her a dangerous look. "Don't move!" he warned her in a low voice.
Hearing his tone, Vivian froze in horror, her teary eyes fearfully looking into his icy ones. "Brother
Chow, I... I can walk by myself." All content is © N0velDrama.Org.
Hearing her call him that, he felt the frustration surging in his heart. "Are you sure?" he asked coldly.
It was just a rhetorical question. He wasn't really waiting for her answer.
No matter what she said, there was nothing that would ever change his impression of her that was
already deeply rooted in his mind.
Vivian kept her eyes down to hide the hurt in her eyes, letting him hug her as tightly as he wanted to.
Chow's eyes darkened again. He quickly walked up to her door, pushed it open, and threw her onto the
bed.
He then pressed himself down heavily against her body, making her cry out softly. "Brother Chow..."
There was a deep look in Chow's eyes. His lips curled into a wicked smile.
The cold, cruel look in his eyes could make anyone freeze in terror.
Aware of his intentions, Vivian shook her head in a panic, pushing against his chest with her hands.
"No, Sister Celine is still here!"
Even the door to her room was still wide open.
If Celine came looking for them, she would be able to see everything that was going on.
But Chow didn't seem to care at all. He leaned over her ear and whispered, "Since she's still here,
shouldn't you like even more it if I kissed you now?"
Vivian nearly cried from the humiliation. She couldn't think of anything to say.
