Chapter 234 Go Back To The Military Residential Compound (Part Two)
"Cherry, I think some things are not as simple as we imagined, like everything around Jackson is
complicated, " Wilson added logically, "I'm not sure whether any of it has anything to do with Sally, it is
bizarre though."
"What is?" asked Cherry with curiosity in her eyes as she stared at Wilson.
"When I investigated Jean, it led to some information of Sally's. The day Jean flew out five years ago,
Sally left on the flight following Jean's, and what's more, their destinations were the same." Wilson
slowly revealed looking into Cherry's eyes.
Cherry stared in disbelief at Wilson, "You mean to say, Jean and Sally are in this together, somehow?"
"Possibly, I think so at least, but, it could be a coincidence." Wilson shared his suspicions and doubts.
He thought it was a possibility that the two going to the same place could be sheer coincidence.
Cherry looked away, avoiding eye contact with Wilson. Suddenly, she felt Sally and Jean might have
had a close relationship with Jackson, and it bothered her that Jean could be so close to Jackson.
What the hell was the connection between them?
Cherry's silence upset Wilson and he wanted to comfort her, "Cherry, my guess could be wrong you
know. Don't dwell too much on it before we finish the investigation."
Cherry was lost in her thoughts though, and didn't get what Wilson was saying.
Wilson asked Cherry, "What are you going to do now?"
Cherry shook her head and looked over at Wilson, "Wilson, Jean has met Joe." She said.
"Joe?" Wilson's eyes widened, worried he asked, "Why? How? What does she want?"
"She may be planning to do something bad." Cherry said nervously, "Wilson, I'm afraid Joe might be in
danger."
Wilson thought for a moment, looked away, paused and then said, "I don't think so, Jean knows
Jackson's power and influence here. She must know that if she dared harm Joe, Jackson won't let her
go. I don't think she will go looking for trouble right now."
"I thought that too, but I would go crazy if Joe were in danger. Wilson, I can't let anyone hurt him. I
absolutely can't have Joe in danger, " Cherry's agitation could be heard in every word she uttered, and
she suddenly grasped Wilson's arm tightly.
Wilson tried to comfort her saying calmly, "Cherry, don't worry. Everything will be fine. Tell Bill to be alert
when he drives Joe to school; he should be safe in school, so, you don't need to be so nervous."
Wilson's reassurance comforted her a little, but, she was still feeling uneasy.
When Cherry got home, Joe was playing in the yard. She was delighted seeing him jumping around
happily.
"Joe!" Cherry cheerfully called to him.
"Mommy, Mommy, finally, you are home!" shouted Joe happily as he ran to his mommy and hugged her
tightly.
"How was school today?" Cherry was concerned, but her voice didn't give that worry away to her son.
"It was great. You drove me in the morning, and Daddy picked me up after school. I was happy, and my
schoolmates were jealous, " Joe said enthusiastically and snuggled into his mom's breast with childlike
innocence.
"Well, mommy is happy that you are happy and had a great day today, " Cherry said lovingly, a tender
smile on her face, "Have you finished your homework yet?" She asked.
"I thought I should, but Daddy said I didn't need to do homework. I know all the math problems well and
don't need to do them at all, " Joe proudly announced.
Cherry's demeanor became severe. She gave her son a harsh look as she asked, "Who told you a
student could refuse to do homework? Even if you know how to solve the problems, you still need to
practice to be proficient. Go upstairs now and do your homework!"
After he saw the angry look in his mom's eyes, Joe pouted and reluctantly acknowledged, "Okay…"
Joe turned, hanging head and went back inside the house.
Cherry watched Joe, following him in. Jackson was walking down the stairs as she entered the living
room.
Jackson saw Cherry too, and quickly walked up to her, asking tenderly, "Why are you so late?"
"Well, I've talked with Wilson for a relatively long time, " replied Cherry. She was afraid that Jackson
might ask her what she had talked with Wilson, she quickly changed the topic and asked, pretending to
be angry, "How could you tell Joe that he didn't need to do his homework? You can't spoil child like
that!" NôvelDrama.Org © 2024.
Jackson's playful smile danced in his eyes as he looked in Cherry's eyes, "I just told him the truth. My
son is so clever that he doesn't need to do homework."
Cherry grabbed Jackson by the arm, "I'll handle Joe's education. Please, don't get involved."
Jackson was a little surprised at Cherry and he stared at her dissatisfied, "Joe is my son too. Why
shouldn't I be involved with his education?"
"It doesn't matter. You are not allowed; I don't agree with your educational concept and I can't imagine
what will happen to my son if you are responsible for his education!" Cherry dictated watching his
easygoing look and determining it would be unwise of her to let him educate their son.
Jackson couldn't help but laugh. He wrapped around Cherry's shoulders and said, "Alright, alright. You
will be the one who takes care of Joe's education. You are the boss of our family."
Hearing Jackson's words softened Cherry's heart.
Jackson saw Cherry's smile, "Baby, let's go back to the military residential compound to see Grandpa
sometime soon, okay?" he asked.
