Chapter 855 Confess the Truth
Eudora paid no attention to the insults hurled at her.
After all, those people had nothing to do with her.
Eudora hurriedly caught up with Colbert and got into his car, helping Belinda into the backseat. Colbert
closed the car door, took the driver's seat, and they drove away.
The car gradually moved further away, leaving everyone else behind.
Eudora pat Belinda's arm and said, "Grandma, they've been left behind."
Hearing her words, Colbert glanced through the rearview mirror and furrowed his brow slightly. "Is
Grandma alright?"
"Hmph, what could possibly be wrong with me, you little brat!"
Belinda slowly opened her eyes and said, "Can we finally talk about what happened?"
"It's nothing."
Colbert still didn't want to reveal the truth.
However, Eudora didn't want Colbert to shoulder everything alone, so she said, "Grandma, what I said
is true. The person in the photo is me."
Earlier at the Steele Mansion, Eudora had her back facing everyone and typed on her phone screen:
[The person in the photo is me.]
After enlarging those few words, Belinda instantly understood, which led to her "fainting" incident.
Otherwise, they wouldn't have been able to separate themselves from those people and find a moment
to talk about it in private.
Seeing Eudora directly confessing the truth, Colbert felt a tinge of helplessness, yet a faint smile crept
onto his lips.
Colbert could feel that Eudora really cared about him.
Just thinking of that made Colbert feel happy. Content © NôvelDrama.Org.
"Then what?"
Belinda asked with a frown.
Eudora pursed her lips and said, "Where should I start? Actually, I only agreed to be with Colbert
yesterday. But because he had gone through so much turmoil before, and my identity is quite special, it
was inconvenient to let the outside world know about our relationship. We planned to go watch a movie
today, so I dressed as a man to avoid trouble.
"Before the movie started, I took him to a men's clothing store. We encountered Ms. Farrell there. She
was always provoking me, and I couldn't stand it, so I kissed Colbert. But the salesperson at their store
secretly took a photo of us."
Eudora briefly explained what had happened to Belinda.
What Eudora meant by the "special identity" was that she looked exactly like Alva. After all, it hadn't
been long since Colbert canceled his engagement with Alva. If he were to declare his love for Eudora
again publicly, it would inevitably draw criticism.
"What happened in the dressing room?"
Belinda pressed on.
Eudora's face flushed red.
Eudora gazed out of the window, her face hidden behind her hands as embarrassment washed over
her.
Eudora thought, "Grandma is too much. Why does she have to ask about something like this?"
Belinda still maintained a cold expression. "Colbert, you explain!"
Colbert glanced at Belinda through the rearview mirror and truthfully replied, "I am a man."
Colbert had expressed his point.
"Well, didn't you have any self-control?" Belinda was clearly angry.
Colbert tilted his head slightly, glanced at the woman in the backseat, and smiled faintly. "I couldn't help
myself. I like her."
