Hayden tapped Shelly on the shoulder and told her to put her blanket away.

Shelly immediately hurried back to her tent while Hayden walked toward his Vice President. This is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

Everyone instantly stopped giggling when they saw Hayden approaching.

"What are you all laughing at? I'm dating Shelly, so is it that weird that we slept in the same tent?" Hayden asked sharply. Everyone was shocked by his honesty.

"Mr. Tate, you never said that you two are dating," the Vice President said. "I thought you two were just messing around!"

"I won't mess around with her," Hayden said. "Besides, I don't sleep around either."

"That's true. Do you two intend to marry, then?" The Vice President asked. "All our employees saw you together and you will be crushed by scandals if you two break up."

"I don't care about what others think of me. Since I've brought her here with me, I naturally have marriage in mind," he said, before noticing that Shelly was waiting for him by her tent and walking over. Hayden walked over, and Shelly immediately asked, "What were you talking about?"

"They asked me whether we were getting married." Hayden looked ahead and calmly said, "When we get back, let's have a meal with both our families."

Shelly nodded. "Okay. I'll leave it all to you."

At this hour, many employees were getting up and having breakfast by the seaside to take photos.

Shelly looked at everyone's cheerful expressions, and her lips curled into a smile. "It must be very happy to work for you, right?" she exclaimed.

Hayden replied, "You won't be as happy being my employee as you would be being my wife."

Shelly was shocked and looked at him in disbelief as she had never expected him to say something like that.

Accustomed to his usually serious demeanor, she did not anticipate him saying such a cheesy line.

"Are you that surprised?" Hayden blushed slightly under her gaze.

"... I've never seen you like this

before, so I'm a bit surprised." Shelly shot him a smile. "I used to think of you as someone unattainable, high above the ground, but now I feel like you're finally on the same level as I

am.

"I sometimes just don't feel like socializing with people but that doesn't mean I see myself as someone high and mighty," Hayden explained.

"Hahaha! You can be quite lazy," Shelly agreed. "Your mom told me that you're usually a homebody. She also said..."

"What else did she say?" Hayden asked, curious when she hesitated.

"She also said that if it weren't for me giving birth to our child, she didn't know when you would become a father," Shelly finished, her face burning.

"My mom is right. I certainly didn't have getting married and having children on my agenda for the next three years. You and the children's arrival was an unexpected surprise," Hayden said, adding, "a pleasant surprise."

Shelly breathed a sigh of relief. "I was actually worried that you wouldn't like children. After all, you're still so young."

"I don't think anyone would dislike

their own child, right?" Hayden said. Although he had not thought of becoming, à father so soon, he quickly accepted the reality after calming down. "Actually, I didn't expect to love my children this much either. I don't feel anything for other

people's children."

"I feel like you spoil our children more than your mom spoils Aiden. She knows her limits, but you have no self-control when it comes to Audrey," Shelly teased.
