Chapter 732
"Why not?"
"You can't tell? Kale has it out for me. I'm afraid he'll get rid of me when you're not looking."
"Kale isn't that kind of man. He follows my orders to the letter."
"I don't care. I want you to take me."
"You want me to escort you? That's quite the request."
"Come on, just take me. With you around, I would have nothing to worry about."
Her words were thinly veiled jabs at Kale, who listened quietly outside the room.
Drake found her antics mildly entertaining. Against his better judgment, he nodded. "Alright, I can do that."
Debra's eyes lit up, but he added, "But that's a waste of my time. Who is going to clean up the mess in the cellar?" "Seriously? You've got a house full of servants."
"They all come with a price."
His implication was clear, and Debra had to give in.
"I'll do it."
"You've got until morning. If you finish, I'll take you there. If not..."
"I'll finish it. I'm doing it right away."
But Drake stopped her once again.
"Now what?"
"Change into this first."
Drake tossed her a man's shirt, and she caught it.
"Thanks."
Once she was gone, Kale stepped into the room.
"Keep an eye on her. Report back if anything happens." "Yes, boss."
Kale then followed Debra down to the wine cellar.
The servants were ordered to leave, and Debra went to clean the mess alone.
Wine barrels and bottles lay strewn across the floor. Debra's shoulders sagged, but she could seek no help.
Kale stood nearby, watching her. His voice rang out, harsh and
unforgiving. "I'm warning you. Stay away from Mr. Lowe. If I even suspect you're plotting something, I'll kill you." en NovelDrama.OrgContent provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

Debra sighed while scrubbing the floor. "I don't know what I did to make you hate me so much. I have no intention of hurting Drake. Besides, with you around, I doubt anyone, including Marion, could even try."
"It's better that way."
She noticed his unwavering attention and came up with an idea.
"You staring at me like that is
out and grabbing some cleani!!?? unsettling. Do you mind helping met wontent
supplies from upstairs?"
"Mr. Lowe told me to watch you. Don't try to play any tricks." "Come on, what could I possibly do? I only have one night to clean this."
"Fine. Wait here."
