Chapter 7
Gina.
I woke up very early the next morning and sneaked back to my room. Luckily, no one saw me leaving Denver’s room, and as soon as I got back to my room, I showered and changed clothes.
I then went to the kitchen to make breakfast for the royal family. It was a tradition that more than two types of food be prepared during every meal so everyone could pick what they wanted, so I made some sandwiches, some burgers with bacon, and some fruit juices.
As soon as I was done and the table was set, the alpha walked in, closely followed by his Luna.
“These look so good, Gina,” Luna Miranda said with a smile as she took her seat close to the alpha.
“Thank you, ma,” I said with a smile, glad that someone was complimenting my hard work for the first time since I came to this palace.
Just then, Derrick and Gwen walked in, closely followed by Devon; they all took their seats, and one could easily spot that Derrick and Devon were not in a good mood.
I went around and started asking them what they wanted so I could serve them.
“Where were you last night, Derrick?” he asked me coldly when I got to his seat.
Even though his voice was a bit low, the intensity with which he spoke gave him away to his brother, who was now looking at me.
I was a bit taken aback by the question, and when I finally found my voice, I said.
“I was in my room,” I said casually, avoiding the urge to bite my l*p while trying not to let my guard down.
He looked at me as if he could tell that I was lying. Did he come to my room last night? What would he want with me when he has a male servant that attends to his needs?
“Don’t worry, I will serve myself,” he said, and this time his action got the Alpha and Luna’s attention.
“What is the problem?” His father asked him.
“Nothing, father, I am alright,” he answered, dismissing me.
Gwen, who was previously not paying attention to what was happening, suddenly looks at me with a demeaning look.
“Will you get your dirty self out of there? She is always fond of annoying everyone around her with her fat a*s,” Gwen said, flaring her nostrils as if I was carrying poo all over me.
I was about to return to the kitchen to wait for them to finish their breakfast when Denver walked in.
I was so close to freezing on the spot when I saw him, and somehow his presence in the room directed everyone’s attention toward him.
He walked straight to his chair and sat down; he didn’t bother to look at me as he took his seat. It was almost like I was invisible to him, which shouldn’t be something unexpected from him, but yikes, it made my heart ache.
He was still sleeping when I left his room this morning, and one would expect that he would at least acknowledge me or even spare me a glance, but no, he sat there looking like the big bad wolf that he is.Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.
He was back to his old, cold self, with an intimidating aura that made it almost impossible for me to believe that this was the same dude who had his tongue buried deep in my p***y last night.
I was so nervous as to how I was going to act around him after what happened last night. But since it was my job to serve everyone at the table, I was left with no choice.
I walked up to him while trying to control the wetness between my legs as soon as his expensive perfume hit my nostrils.
Before now, I just used to like how it smelled, but now after smelling it in his room on his bed, I can’t help but reminisce on the nasty times I had in his room.
He said he needed bacon and some sandwiches, so I dished him some before heading back to the kitchen.
After they had finished their breakfast, I went to the dining room to clear out the dirty plates. They had all thankfully left the dining room so after clearing and arranging it, I went to the kitchen to wash the plates.
I was just done cleaning the plates when I felt someone standing behind me. I turned to see that it was Derrick staring at me. I wonder if he had just arrived or has he had been standing there since.
Somehow seeing him there reminded me of my encounter with Denver yesterday. It almost felt like deja vu, except that I was so sure that it was Derrick this time.
“Do you want anything?” I asked, as he took two more steps into the kitchen and stopped with both hands in his pocket.
“I know you lied to me earlier,” he said, in a very intimidating yet sexy voice.
His eyes roamed every part of my body and finally stared into my eyes as if trying to read my reaction. I was still trying to figure out how to answer him when he added.
“You were not in your room last night; I know because I was there,” he said in a deep, intimidating voice. one that is capable of making you spill every secret you have had and cower in fear.
As embarrassing and weird as it seemed that I was being questioned by him on where I was last night, I found myself checking him out, wondering if he was as good as his brother or even better.
“I can’t believe you already have a boyfriend just after spending a few days here in the palace,” he said.
I might be crazy, but I could sense jealousy in his voice, and that made my p***y twitch a little.
I could feel my freshly brewed proof of arousal drenching my pants, and his eyes turning a little darker with an unreleased passion made me believe that he must have smelt it.
“Tell me, who is he?” He asks, taking gentle steps towards me with his eyes fixed on mine.
“I don’t have a boyfriend,” I said, resisting the urge to be turned on by this gorgeous devil before me.
Among his three brothers, Derrick was my worst nightmare back in high school. He was always fond of looking for every single opportunity to make fun of me and call me names in front of his numerous girlfriends.
“Liar,” he said, breathing the words into my ear and at the same time sniffing me as if he could already pick up my scent.
His lips slightly brushed my skin, and it ignited a million fireworks all over my body. Right at that moment, I knew I wanted a taste of what he had to offer.
“I will be in your room tonight, and you better be there when I come,” he said, and he was about to pull me in for a k**s when someone walked into the kitchen.
We both turned and saw that it was Denver, and if he was a little surprised that he caught his brother almost kissing me, he did well by hiding his emotions.
“I was looking for you,” Denver said to Derrick, who wasn’t so pleased that his brother had ruined his supposed special moment.
“Yeah, I was a little bit busy,” he said, walking towards his brother, whom I felt was avoiding my case on purpose.
Both brothers walked out of the kitchen, leaving me in a panicked state as to what the f**k was happening to me.
